X-T3 vs X-H1 for wedding photography. Which side are you on? My take? You can't shoot what you can't lock AF on. When's the last time a low light first dance came out non-blurry at 1/5s handhold with IBIS :P

I recently picked up the XH1 to get into the Fuji primes, the optical quality at large apertures and price is the best bargain in photography. I've been very happy with AF and image quality at least matching my old d750 and under rated canon 6d. I don't do weddings and have used focus recompose for the last 2 decades, the XH1 has more AF coverage than I need and the quick AF point selection with the joy stick is fantastic for me. As a bonus being a pro body it has dual card slots with ibis and a vertical grip. The EVF has changed everything for me and I can confidently use there JPEG out of camera now because I can actually see in real time the Final image.
People worry too much about gear, I hear this over and over again and again. Everybody is obsessed with full frame and how much better it is, blah blah blah, the funny thing is that the clients don’t even know anything about this. Most of the time all we need to is really just capture all the precious moments and as long as the camera and user can accomplish that then you’re in business. Good video! 👌🏽 I now have 2 X-T3’s and 1 X-T2. I’m very happy with them.
Definitely. Photographer and skill is the real value. Refine those and any gear you touch can create good images.
Reggie Ballesteros yea indeed, therefore a bigger reason I chose fuji is for the aesthetics. It’s a beautiful camera and it looks really good in front of the clients. 😊
True, a lot of it is hype, but being able to crop in when you need to goes a long way.
What's more important than camera features is fluently knowing the camera you currently own; you can get it to perform better than someone who just casually knows their camera and relies on features instead.
@@djlive408 haha i don't really consider that factor for professional work. look of the photos is more important than look fo the gear :P
@@Photographicelements this is paramount. if i trained on an iphone day in and day out i'm sure i can capture images better than a newb with a gfx100 in a demanding situation.

Outstanding. I've been shooting professionally for 28 years. Most of my work is full-frame Nikon, but I've gradually introduced the Fuji X-Pro2 into some of my workflow. This is one of the most thorough and concise videos about how the X-T3 works FOR YOU. Very well-thought out and obviously a lot of time & effort went into it. (Love the rant, too!) Keep up the great work!
Haha yes. Everything should be taken with a grain of salt because it’s my preference, but thanks for noticing the work I put into it. Hoping it gives people some inspiration and perspective on what can be done wirh this beast of a camera in real world pro use.
I would say move to Nikon mirrorless. Only because I am assuming you have the glass. And of course less noise like he said. Xpro damn good camera tho.
Sorry meant to add that I went from Nikon, to Fuji, to Sony for professional work. Left Nikon only because at the time I just didn’t like they way the innovation. Left Fuji because of Lightroom issues. Would still be using if the best files did not come from capture one. Like Video said I am not into messing up my work flow. The Sony 3rd series are great. Color science not as good as Fuji or Nikon but raw you can get what you need. And now with 3rd party finally here lenses are priced competitively.

The 50-140 is a ridiculously good lens. I highly recommend it. In terms of sharpness, it's up there with the Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS III. Bokeh is a bit lacking compared to full-frame 70-200's, but I'm of the mindset that bokeh is overrated, so I don't much care.
The bokeh will literally 1.5 less cool lol. Just cause of crop factor. But yeah I just need the reach.
I regards to cleaning the sensor I can tell you I was very apprehensive at first but now I do quite frequently since I'm regularly changing lenses in the outdoors on windy, dusty and wet conditions. I use the aps-c sensor cleaning swabs from VSGO and the optical cleaning fluid from Eclipse. Really enjoy all of your videos, thanks for putting in the effort to upload great free content for us all to watch.

I feel the same way about Lightroom, I've been using it since Lr2, I have the presets, and I'm lightning fast at it, so after a long day and 2000 photos, Lightroom just makes sense.
I appreciate this video, especially the pros & cons, and directly from your experience, not just reading specs or being a fanboy; it is the most helpful. I also appreciate you sharing the problems you've encountered, and how you've overcome them; I love how it's basically ->just be a better photographer & know your settings.
Any repair shop can clean a sensor, just research Fuji authorized dealer. I use the sensor blow can (forget the name right now, avail from FilmTools, AbleCine, etc), the brush and the hand squeeze blow options, but leave the fluid sensor cleaning to the professionals.
The XT3 is an amazing camera. Those Fuji lenses tho...
I feel Fuji will soon release the XH2, with all of the XT3 features, plus image stabilization. And then a few months later release the XT4.

Apart from the things you mentioned in the video, I would love it if they beefed up the joystick, buttons and command dials a little bit and make them feel more substantial.

This was a super interesting video. I shoot Nikon/Sony and have been taking a hard look at selling all my gear and going with Fuji, so this was right up my alley.
Trevor Christensen don’t sell your Sony and nikons till you watch this ua-cam.com/video/SgUmhLQ0zHM/v-deo.html fuji is not an exact match to the low light capabilities or Nikon or Sony frame. I don’t want to give you false expectations haha.
Great video Reggie. I switched at the same time as you from Nikon and have been on a similar journey. Although i have only done 12 weddings this year. I overall have loved the fuji experience. At times i have got back and seem quite a few missed shots or muddy looking high iso shots and thought I really need to follow the crowd to Sony.
This video really sums up how i feel. In every way. This combo for weddings is perfect. Like you id love to see Mk2’s of all the 1.4 lenses. The F2 versions do not appeal to me.
One thing i have really enjoyed that you didn’t mention and another reason I’d find it hard to switch from Fuji now is the ability to change aperture with your left hand on the lens rather than a command wheel. Once you get to grips it is such a better ergonomic experience.
For the future better Af-C is needed for sure. And a better way for LR to render the Raws would be a game changer to. They look amazing and so clean on C1 but like you i have no desire to move from Adobe.

@17:20 You can save your custom settings up to 7 I believe and you can access it with the Q button. C1, C2 etc..
Kusanagi these don’t save exposure settings or af settings. I Shoot jn raw so C1 c2 is irrelevant to what I’m trying to have access to.
Fuji wedding photographer here as well. Absolutely loving it. About to upgrade my XT2 to a XT3.
GC9000 for wedding Photography you will not regret it. Af is much better.
Reggie Ballesteros I know you did a video on the xt3 vs XH1. I use the XH1 for my 56 and XT range for my 23. Kinda gives me the best of both worlds where I need it. My favorite thing about the XH1 is actually the quiet shutter. For weddings I really prefer it.
You always have honest unbiased info with your Fuji reviews. I completely agree with all of your findings. They mirror mine. I give you a lot of credit for shooting professional weddings with this camera system. Knowing the afc struggles in low light and especially with some of the older lenses. I use single point as well and keep the focus square as big as I can for the subject. It took me a while to get comfortable shooting high iso, but as soon as I stopped worrying and ensured I was fully exposing the noise is really not an issue. I have noticed the brighter you expose the less noticeable the noise is. So often I will expose more than I have to without blowing out highlights and dial back the exposure in post and the photos are super clean. In many cases you can not even see the noise even at very high iso. The color holds together well at high iso as well. Thanks again for the time you put into your videos and the info you share. And btw I still use Lightroom too. I tried capture one too and found it not as versatile and I actually prefer the colors in Lightroom. As far as the worm it’s not even noticeable, and with the Lightroom texture slider now sharpening is as good as capture one.
What have you found is the acceptable high end of the iso range with the expose to the right technique you mention? Thanks
@@kkam7044 12,800. keep the histogram all the way to the right, that is the key or else you will see the noise. I shoot on auto iso and T setting. Then I use the dials to adjust the shutter speed where I want it first then adjust the exposure with the iso. I shoot wildlife, people, and indoor engagements like this.
@@kkam7044 As Reggie said make sure you fill the frame with your composition. If you are shooting high iso, cropping in will degrade the image quality fairly fast.

I also wanted to stay with LR after getting an XT1 and XT2, but the truth is, C1 really is that much better. I would argue its better in general because its the more capable programm, but for fuji in particular it really is far ahead. Better noise performance somehow, better able to push shadows or exposure and no (sharpening) artifacts. Even with 3rd party x-trans transformers C1 is still better. My 2 cents on that matter.

I wholeheartedly agree and understand why Mr. Ballesteros would stay with his software of choice... with that said, it is clear that LR does not process Fujifilm(X-Trans sensor) RAW files as good as C1... not even close. My question is why Phase One Capture One can do it, but the issue still persists in Adobe LightRoom? I'm personally in a different place with photography, so the switch to C1 was a no-brainer. I have also dumped Premiere for Davinci Resolve! Still no easy route going away from Photoshop, but I am trying to keep it more simple and get as much right SOOC.
Jay T. The problem persists because of market share. Bayer sensors dominate the market and most lr users. Why change the entire platform to appease a small percentage. That’s my guess. For me the editing plays only one factor in my image quality. Lighting, composition, and for my line of work, posing, play a much bigger role than demosaicing or sharpening algorithms.

Thanks for the video ...good stuff . I’ve had my XT3 a year too . I agree they should not have upped the sensor pixels ...low light photography is a bit of a struggle. I wish they would do something that stops me knocking the dials below the shutter speed selector and iso selector ...too many time I knock the lower one when changing the top one . I’m what I would describe as an advanced hobbyist photographer and prefer zoom to prime although I acknowledge why people prefer prime and the benefits . I frequently have to jump between lenses and expose the sensor . After every shoot I inspect with a lens sensor loupe ...if I see anything I use a manual jet blower with sensor pointing down ....anything left I have a wipe brush that is electro statically charged by blasting it with jet blower . Every now and again take it to be professionally cleaned GBP 15 . Liked your comments about applying creativity . Also massively liked your comments about not going to C1 . I use Adobe and have no problems but there are people out there ramping up the hype about C1 ...I tried it and found zero benefit ...just extra cost for full version and extra workflow .

You can create custom settings in the XT3, just edit save custom settings, then press Q to easily switch between your custom settings
Brian Joseph Wangenheim it does not save shutter speed setting, aperture setting, af setting, or any other camera settings. The custom modes on Sony and Nikon do.
Reggie Ballesteros That’s the reason for the dials on the body and aperture ring on the lens. You can set those parameters before you even power on the camera.
@@kazcnepj i get that. but if you need to switch from shutter drag flash to freeze action flash, you can do that in a matter of a split second on nikon with one dial turn. it takes 3 dial turns on fuji. it's a preference thing. i make it work regardless. all i'm saying is if they want to implement in a firmware update i'll accept it.
Wow Reg, so glad finally somebody proposes to limit the MP count for better low light - big one!! I don't crop thaaat much anyhow, so think it should be a fairly obvious way to go .... break the spec-wars :D
Adrian III yup, it’s obvious the xt2 and xh1 have the optimum megapixel density for the Fuji crop sensor. 24 is more than enough. Stop there and uses the extra cpu power for low light, af performance, camera speed, etc.
I really enjoyed your review of your experience to date. I have had my X-T3 for about a year with a focus on video use, but your video makes me realize I have a lot to learn about the photo side. Great review and, as ever, very honest. Great wedding images. Love your style. I would go so far as to say you are edging Mr Mullins in your results, a nice cross over between reportage and informal wedding pics. Sorry Kevin. I love your work too. man, fuji has come a long way. I tried to photograph weddings with an X-E1, X-E2, & X-T1 over a decade ago but the cameras didn't perform how I needed them to. So I went the route of A7iii and A7R3. With all the fujifilm tech updates, I really want to go back to Fuji because I feel like the other mirrorless DSLR's are just so heavy.
I love this video. Thx for your honest opinion. I'm a sony shooter, and don't want to switch completely but I want a always with me camera. Maybe the Fuji xt4. But for my wedding sessions I would stay with my fullframe lenses. Because without my 70-200 f2.8 GM and my 85 f1.4GM my look would getting lost.

Thanks, nice review with a lot of common sense. I just switched from Canon and I'm loving the X-T3. Your auto-focus setup is also what I use. I think the noise in the Fuji is pretty good. With Canon, I always expose to the right, I've found this true with Fuji but I'm getting better results without ETTR.
yup common sense is where i base most of my photography decisions haha. it's how i avoid gas (gear acquisition syndrome) :P
Well done! Great out of the box shot at the 10:55 mark! Has the lack image stabilization been an issue for you? I plan to buy an X T3, but I'll keep my Sony a6500. It's outstanding with the Sigma 16 mm DC DN f 1.4 Lens and has IBIS, outstanding when doing hand held work. The advantages of full frame are not that great with today's tech. I really don't like the idea of going back to large heavy gear and lenses, having moved from Canon...travel light, get more done!
i shoot wedding photography which i typically live at 1/250s shutter speed. at this shutter speed IBIS is literally irrelevant, haha. unless i'm shooting with telephoto which most good telephoto zooms has ois anyways. for video i see the appeal, but i don't prioritize video.

Sorry, prematurely pressed the send button - I am an enthusiast photographer who records travel, family activities, & enjoys street photography (due to the limited video capabilities of my current camera I shoot 95% stills - more video will be taken with a better camera). I refuse to take a tripod with (so everything is hand held) & I don’t like using a flash. Most of the family activities are indoors, so minimal noise at higher ISOs is a target. My big concern with Fuji is the amount of noise in indoor photos. My big concern with Sony if the total package (lens included) would be too big (Tamron 28-75mm) (the Sony body with Sony 24mm 1.4f is acceptable). I know both systems will produce photo with IQ acceptable to me. But I need the system to say “take me with”, which the Lumix easily does (due to its small size).

Thank you Reggie for your prompt reply. I know my comment was lengthy - it was my attempt to provide you with as much information as possible so you could give me guidance. There are really 2 questions 1) I would choose the Fuji because of the excellent IQ & rather compact size. My concern is the amount of noise that is attracted with high ISO values caused by low light indoors. Will the resulting pics have so much noise that is will cause a noticeable distraction. 2) My concern with the Sony is size. Will it be preserved to be “big” to the point of not wanting to take the camera with when I go out for a casual outing (street photography is a planned activity so I don’t have the same concern).
Great shots. I shot my first wedding (my sister), so I'm no pro. But the 50-140 was a lifesaver of a lens. Really great and the OIS is helpful. Totally agree on the noise and muddy - I found that in some shots, but as you said, I shot enough where I had options with the right in camera settings.

I nearly made the step from Sony to Fuji just because I want to have more fun schooting with very less post processing. I was considering other brands and Fuji models but finally I think the X-T3 will fulfill my needs and feelings :P
Nowadays it is so hard to make a decision because of the tons of opinions from all kind of users. Finally there is always a trade off and YES there (mostly) will be THAT Model to wait for.
But I love to hear an opinion from someone who uses the X-T3 intensive and very versatile because so I do.
Not professional, just as an ambitious hobby photographer with little kids...

Congrats for this great video, dude! I am currently shooting both, Canon and Fuji (only x-e3). What keeps me away from a full switch to Fuji, is the better rendition of skin colors and the smoother bokeh falloff of the Canon. The Fuji skin colors appear all to be too red/magenta to my taste. This can however partially be solved by manual white balance (however difficult in changing light conditions). Cheers!
Shooting in raw and editing the colors yourself will help to tailor the skin tones to your preferences as well. The bokeh tho is not gonna be as smooth on crop. Just a limitation of the sensor size

Doug's Fan it really depends on what you need and what’s important to you. Xt4 will likely be very close to 2000 from my predictions
I too love my XT# for being an all round work horse, but I do wish for a better menu system. I miss the Canon menus. And low light autofocus could be a bit better. But your reviews and content are always the best Reggie!

I always enjoy your videos and advice Reggie so thank you for the time and effort you put in to them. I had the same slow focusing on the 56 which is a shame so i had to let it go. The 50mm f2 is probably the fastest focusing X lens I have used and one of the most underacted in my opinion. How do you fins the 23mm 1.4 in continuous AF as you don't mention it on this video?
Jon Spoard I still take the same approach with stopping down for high pressure situations. It’s faster than the 56 but it’s still slower than my old Nikon dslrs
I dipped my toe in the FUji pond in 2013 and got the XE1 with the 35 1.4, which I loved. These days though, technical IQ is so boring and more or less anything, even phones can be good enough for pro work. I believe that if the person who wields the camera, feels good using it, the images will be better. For me I use Fuji because they are small and light, it gives me physical strength to work for a whole day without fatigue and gives me the creativity I need to be able to deliver. I don't think that clients (private persons like weddings, parents and so on, not companies for major campaigns) care if you shoot with a Fuji XT200, XT2, XT10, GFX100 or Hasselblad, as long as you are able to show the emotions in the image :) This makes me happy about photographyand is a great equializer. Of course techincal stuff is fun to nerd out about, but it doesn't matter to 99,99% of the clients.

Great portrait at the 16:49 mark. Can you not charge the X-T3 while using it with an external power source as you do and Sony cameras? It's a huge advantage and it can be attached easily to a SmallRig cadge or even attached to a belt or pocket.
you can. it's just not very easy or practical to do when shooting a wedding with two bodies. it would also just play a toll on my wrists.

I was so scared when I sold ALL my FF Nikon gear for the X-T3 system! It's been 4 months now with my X-T3 and it just keeps on surprising me. It has outperformed my FF Nikon on just about every level. Everyone knows that FF has better bokeh, better background compression) when shooting wide apertures and seems to be the deal-breaker for the APS-C system. But I have to say that when I put my 16mm f/1.4 on the X-T3 there is no more arguing! I will admit that my D810 had more dynamic range. But the Fuji has more than enough for me and do not miss the D810 at all. My landscapes are fine with the Fuji DR! It has been best decision I have ever made in my photography history! (The switch from Nikon to Fuji) And thank you, Reggie! What is the hubbub all about with Capture One? I tried it and like you, have been using Lightroom for years...and I have had NO, repeat NO issues with Lightroom processing my Fuji raw files! I'm staying with Lightroom also.

plenty of grip! You'll never be able to convince me otherwise! But at the end of things, that's why they have choices for people. So you can choose the Z7 and I choose the X-T3.

@Phil Jones65 ??? the price ??? Z7 + 24-70 = 3300.00; X-T3 + 24-70 (equiv.)= 2700.00 and the line of f2 lenses run around 450.00...let me ask this? have you ever shot with the FujiX series cameras? Fuji glass is superior to Nikon glass...but the main reason for the switch was simple. My Nikon D810 and host of lenses were heavy and outdated. I wanted to go mirrorless and get lighter...The Fuji X-T3 is the best APS-C mirrorless camera available., IMHO better than Nikon FF (except, maybe the D850) So ya, I knocked myself out...Adapters? OMG? really? Thank God we have choices in this world!
Phil Jones65 size is the reason I went to fuji. Crop glass is smaller than full frame glass. Ibis is not relevant to my wedding photography at all, so it doesn’t interest me
Phil Jones65 1/250s is enough to freeze shake for me. I’m definitely the minority regarding my style and a gear choices. In my area I’m one of the few shooting Fuji. And even on UA-cam I’m one of the few pro wedding photographers shooting Fuji and posting photo examples from

Has the AF improved with firmware updates? What firmware was used for this video on the x-t3. I am about to purchase one, and don't like your statements that the face and eye detection is still not accurate and fast enough. Love your photos!
They’ve updated it but it’s not at the same level as Sony. I prefer not using Face/eye detecg

I dknt have an xt4. In general I use af/s single point for all pro work. Never face and eye detect. I’m still weary of it
hey reggie, Im planning to get my very first camera, I'm not really into professional stuff, but I just wanna shoot mainly pictures of my family and street photography , maybe some city landscape for my travelling. Xt3 body is on sale right now for 1350 canadian dollar, regular price was 1800, same as the x100v, should i go with the xt3 or X100v?

Good video. Have you consider using Iridient X Transformer (as a LR plug-in if you are using Mac), so you can stick with your LR workflow and having better raw files to start with.
Also I heard about X-T3 has more noise not much because of the resolution but because of the BSI readout speed that introduces more noise.
Penny Fan I tried it and it slows my workflow down a lot without much improvement to my photos. I showed plenty of example images, did you find any issues with the quality? I’m happy with it and don’t feel any need to adjust

Great video, be aware of the in-camera settings regarding sharpness, cause it can cause weird result in post production, and if you have problems with the continuos autofocus it's probably the settings in camera that need to be tweaked, cause they have a big effect on the performance and your settings didn't seem right to me, but i have xt 2 and don't do weddings so i maybe wrong, but if havn't tested all the possible settings to see if there is a better one then go test cause it matters alot to fuji autofocus
i've tweaked all my af settings and discussed them in this video. also for sharpness, i shoot in raw so in camera sharpness doesn't play a factor. thanks for you comment!

It's just those settings for the autofocus is crucial to get the correct focus and tbh i havn't found my xt2 to disappoint in any way regarding the focus, from racecars to little kids and to me it's just about find the correct combination of settings to make it work as i want. But then again if u already tried all combination of autofocus settings then i can't help you. But would like to know what specific things you tried to take photos of while coming to your conclusion.
Af-c single point, continuous set 2 for bride coming down the aisle. This is wirh 56 1.2, which lenses is problably the bigger culprit rather than the af settings
@@Reggiebphoto aah ok, thx for the answer. I only have the 16-55 2.8 so that's probably why. I guess the 56 don't have the same LM, liniar motors to speed up the focus, or maybe it's something else, but i've had no problems with catching focus on moving objects from fighter jets to cute puppies, of course i don't focus correct all the time, but once i adjust the settings it has no problems focusing. Anyway thx for the answer, it helps me alot picking out a new lens sometime in the future, because focus speed is a big factor for me sometimes 👍

Ive been 12years using canon FF + L glasses.
Last month i switch to xt3.
Becase i dont have a luxuary car to trade with eos R & RF lenses hahaha.
Xt3 + 56mm = 1/3 price of eosR + RF 85mm 1.2
What i dont like from apsc are they produce more noise and less exposure compare to FF with same settings.
And whole day wedding consume 7 batteries my 5d just 3.
daud daud it’s just the physics of apsc. If you want less noise then the clear answer is go to full frame. There are trade offs on both ends. Up to you to decide what’s important

I have an XT2 with lenses and an A7III with lenses. Debating going all fuji and switching my A7iii to an XT3 for my wedding photography. Some people say it’s better to have one system, others say it’s better to have two systems. Wondering your thoughts?
I prefer having one system, but that's just my personal preference.

I just stumbled across your video. I thank you for your wonderfully honest & well presented product. Would you kindly provide me with your advise in my decision making process between the Sony a7iii (or a7Riii) and X-T4 (leaked specs are found on Fuji Rumours, basically an X-T3 with IBIS & other “non-spectacular” improvements).
Background information: I am changing from MFT (Lumix GM5) so small/portability is important (Sony & Lumix bodies are approximately the same size),
Morrie Glick IG low light without flash is your concern I would recommend an a7iii with a large aperture lens. Not a zoom. X-t4 will not have much improvement over the xt3 in the iso department. For low light, a fuji does well with flash (which you said you don’t want to use)

...have you experience heating the base part of your xt3 while shooting?...mine do!...i dont know if that's normal or not...no video just for photo...in 5 minutes i feel the lower metal part (battery area) starts heating without turning on my lcd just the viewfinder sensor mode

I guess as well as your gear and editing videos, which are excellent, it might be cool to throw in something on workflow - everyone has their own way of dealing with this and there are so many ways I know I could improve mine. I was also thinking earlier - how about something on light metering? Events and weddings are extra gnarly situations for light metering, and there might be shooters out there who could benefit from some tips on how to get the best out of their metering options - particularly Fuji shooters.

How is the continous AF functioning for you? Mine is missing focus all the time, even AF-S. Doesn't matter which AF mode I am in.It is now out for repairs for over 2 weeks. Also I had 3 times lenses lock up on me, different ones (16-55 F2.8, 35 mm F2, 56 mm F1.2), only solution was to take out the lens, put another one in, then locked one in again. Nothing else worked. So not reliable for payed work, at least in my case.

@@Reggiebphoto - unfortunately, we sold all our Nikon and Leica lenses as well. Then, I discovered that adapters were available (a costly learning experience). Incredibly, we adapted a couple of our old Minolta film lenses and one old remaining Nikon 50mm E series. They operate in manual mode and have produced some interesting results. The best results are from our Fujifilm lenses.

for full transparency it was. i've been researching techniques to improve traffic and growth for small youtube channels, and tried use a jarring title and thumbnail as an experiment. sure enough, it helped to get some people to click on the video. BUT i think the fact that you did watch it through proves that the people who did click it still got value out of the video. it would be another thing if you clicked on it and just didn't think the video was relevant at all. i will be removing the clickbait title and thumbnail after the 10 day mark of my experiment.

So all the fujifilm users i know have skintones edited with a pink /red cast. Is this a stylistic thing? Or does the camera tend to render skintones that way?
I personally don’t like green skin tones. So I have a bias toward pink/magenta.
I would just take the camera to get it Cleaned. My local camera shop where i bought my X-T3 included free sensor cleaning for life.

Just wondered why you didn't go for Sony? given the low light advantage? also the fact that Sony now offers a very compact system with small lenses and many choices. it also has great CAF and a good travel camera. Don't get me wrong I love the xt3 but the Sony offers similar value with the a73. Anyway thanks for the video I'm a big XT3 fan, they are ibis away from really nailing it. Full frame Fuji's coming too!

As a professional portrait photographer i prefer my X-H1 above my X-T3. The X-H1give me a more analogue-ish image than my X-T3. So for me, X-H1 all the way. The only thing i use my X-T3 for is landscape/nature/macro photography.

Gugle Yuser: The image of the X-H1 looks more analoque than the image of an X-T3 in my opinion. I don’t like Sony at all. Sony is good in making Walkmans. LOL.
@@qualaup Sony cameras are not enjoyable and lacks character! But the dynamic range, low noise, battery life and eye AF are very impressive. The shutter sound of Fiji cameras is so beautiful and so is the design!

I cant afford the X-T3 so I will buy the X-T30 instead.. hopefully the 1 card slot doesn't fail me, its the only thing Im slightly worried about.
badhabit if you’re worried about card failures use smaller cards and switch often to avoid having all your eggs in one basket. Also maybe invest in a hard drive with a Sd card reader that can auto backup a memory card without the need for a computer
Get a xt2... they are dead cheap used... but 600 bucks
