Don’t know if it still does this but a newbury comics near me sold individual packs, but they sold a lot at a time, so while more expensive than a box, since they wouldn’t mix up the packs you could technically buy a box from them, and for someone just starting out, that’s pretty good all things considered. Built most my dragonmaid deck doing exactly this since I didn’t know of any card shops near me, though admittedly I spent a lot more than I needed to because I didn’t want to buy singles since I wasn’t a fan of online shopping at the time

My local Walmart literally has zero cards, I think they may be getting rid of them completely as the "Display" has been getting replaced by different non tcg related items.

Fine, let's play with cards! Let's get some structure decks! Oh they're barely available. Let's get packs and pull cards! Not worth it financially due to bad pulls. Let's buy singles! Too expensive. Let's make oricas! Too much work. It became too annoying to play so we gave up. Still enjoy the content and the game, I guess. Just not the company or their decisions
I only buy structure decks when I got back into Yugioh in 2024. I want 100% absolute cards, that way I buy 3 of the same deck and have a choice to make of the copies of each. (For me, I want to spend the same amount or lower for the price of a video game $50-$70 in total for a structure decks 3x cost. And luckily it rarely goes over $50, then I'm satisfied until the next structure deck months from now.)

The elimination of promos still boggles my mind to this day. I don't even like buying packs like that. Promos were THE cool incentive I had for buying packs packaged in whatever way they wanted to package it. Sigh, I truly miss special editions. Or the tins with promos for that matter. I wasn't even mad most of the time when I didn't pull anything. Now you have to get a booster box if you want to buy from a set for the hopes of pulling anything. Like you said, 1 pack just isn't worth it.
IMO an external problem with TCG's prices being so inflated is that essentially it's now an adult hobby. Kids really can't afford to spend their leftover lunch money to play the game these days (can't buy just 1 or 2 packs as you said), and if you somehow have a walmart do rage of the abyss at a discounted $14 a pop for special editions - guaranteed some adult reseller will buy all of it and either open for fuwaloss to sell it, or just resell them in facebook market place. The margins are so low, but someone would still be willing to buy them out just to make a 5% profit.
My friend got some for $6.99 a piece cause they were on sale, but only 1 had the sticker on it for that price. So Walmart cut him some slack and had them all sold to him for that much a piece.

I started back into the game through team aps as well!! It’s better to find a card shop to buy products. Also try tcg player is a good website to buy the specific cards you need. Usually far cheaper than buy in them from the store or even card shop.

Typically, the core booster set cards tend to have the meta related cards in them so that's the main appeal to them besides supporting pre-existing archetypes or a few new archetypes but tend to get their support through multiple core set releases. They tend to be what most competitive players would go towards since they often have meta based cards in them. Then the structure decks that have mainly all the cards you need to make a good deck for modern Yugioh. They are good enough to play with 3x Structure Decks and can be upgraded either through different card engines or getting support through other products like in a core set, though it's usually just a few more cards. This is highly recommended for newer players since it's definitely the easier way to play the game and it's a cheap investment in comparison to the other options. Another sort of product is one where they release a new tcg exclusive archetype and bundle it with smaller OCG side sets that only contained a few cards in them. I don't recommend them at all, the pull rates are awful and the tcg exclusive are not strong and are of high rarity to build up. Tend to be the worse of the products they print out. Along with the battle of legend esque set, where it suffers the same issues, I highly don't recommend ever buying them unless you are some sort of card collector. The last type of product would be the set where they focus on 3 archetypes and they put cards that would support those 3 archetypes. These are also quite the meta based choice since at least 1 of them are going to be highly competitive in the format they get released. They also get extra support later in the core booster set with a few cards that make them stronger. This is what you were suggesting in your initial post. This is more of the middle of the ground option where you would have to spend some money, but you will get a pretty complete archetype deck that is quite strong and most likely meta relevant. Especially the next one of this type where all 3 of them are all strong, with 2 of them being the top decks in the OCG format of the game which is ahead around 4-5 months of the TCG version. So buying a few boxes of this one would net you 2 to 3 completed decks for the most part. Since you are a new player, structure deck is the least expensive, safer option to just play the game and learn from it. They also come with staple cards that would be useful in other decks. The upcoming Blue-Eyes Deck coming out early next year is going to be excellent with coming with a lot of staple cards along with a fairly strong deck strategy involving Blue-Eyes White Dragon and is mostly complete with 3x copies of the structure deck. I would recommend getting singles online through websites since you can get the cards you want without risking getting nothing in packs, especially if you are only looking for a few cards that help your archetype deck. Just know that prices fluctuate as time goes on, so just wait until you see a drop in price to pick them up if they are recently released. This is especially true for new releases, where the vast majority of the cards are overpriced. Just wait a month and almost all the cards are much cheaper than their initial release price. Just don't expect the meta relevant cards to drop much until maybe the next core booster set release or until it gets a reprint/banlist hits them.
More structure decks is what I think might solve that issue. They could even make a “legendary collections” equivalent for archetypes instead of anime decks
I've been playing since 2002. I almost never buy sealed products from an LGS. If I buy sealed, I buy from Walmart or I buy the unofficial mystery blister packs from Dollar General because I like the variety of cards that come in those. You can get some older cards or some more obscure commons and even some of what my Playgroup regards as budget staple cards. Mostly, I buy singles online. Much more efficient and cost effective. I did pick up last year's tin because I actually use to love the mega tins back in the day and in my opinion last year's tins were better than this year's.
100% on the Walmart packs and 3rd party packs. A good chuck of my collection came to be this way. Btw, what was the best card you pulled from the Dollar General packs?
@@jrtg5758keep an eye out, could get some sale deals if he/she needs the space (even tho I need space too, snagging some sale booster boxes for collecting is always a plus)
@@BarryMay-lp7dh I’m basically only really want to stock on anime related cards since when customers come in they still get excited to see dark magician and blue eyes. No one has a connection to what is currently made or played to the monsters themselves.
Meanwhile none of the 4 Gamestops in my area or Target or Best Buy carry YGO products. Well, except the legendary decks/dragon boxes. Thankfully those legendary decks with the main guys is the product my kid wants for Christmas so we good with that.
The tins at Walmart and target appear to go on discount faster than going to locals. If I need a structure deck or tins I go to a retail store but if I need packs I’m starting to prefer locals unless I’m trying to randomly come across some older packs that might not be sold at my locals.
Watch out with that discount sticker. if the bar code has not been updated on the back it will scan at the original price and if you don't notice it, you cant return it. They also mix the tins up with some having the sticker and some not having the sticker and if you don't know about the scam, you will think that if one is discounted, the same tin without a sticker will be the same price.. but it wont. I kept pictures of my receipts and took photos of this stuff to prove it is happening. Walmart is scamming people. I understand why the policy is like that, no returns, but this still isn't fair.
I had a friend had the something similar with your tin situation that were on sale but with the Traptrix Structure deck. He saw the price that they'd do it at full price except for the sticker one and he pointed that out and they gladly gave him the discount for the other 2 that didn't have the sticker.
100% correct on the tins. Not worth it and need promos. Theyre getting worse each year.. the 4 pack boxes however you are mixed on based on which set. Me personally I don't think any of them are worth it. The promos in the main line set help but l like you do say. You're just paying full price. If it was like a dollar or two cheaper ny opinion on them would I prove greatly. And then structure decks you got perfect. They are worth it as long as you don't make the mistake of buying the super old ones they like to keep in stock. As you say you can actually make decent decks with 3 copies of one so the value is there. And while they could still be inproved the newer ones actually include real stables which is great. Traptrix including ash blossom and dark world including evenly matched I believe. Structure decks are definitely the best value at your local walmarts. But it would he nice if we got better products or prices on the other options to make it worth it as who doesn't love opening packs!
Also to give context. I'm nit a fan of the 4 pack boxes because I've bought one light of destruction and got 0 foils. And I've bought 4 rage of the abyss and got one ultra and the rest supers. Also bought one retro and I don't even remember what I pulled since I have no one to play goat with but I remember being disappointed for the price.
Tokens should never be included in any product as something "premium" unless it's autographed or something. It's baffling to me that Konami thinks it's something equivalent to a playable card. Imagine buying a new set of shoes and you found out Nike artificially increased their price by including a different color set of shoelaces and a generic sticker.
Oh it's even worse at some shops. A guy was trying to sell saga of blue eyes for $16 and went "that's the standard" I told him how old it was and he went "that's why it's so much" I told him "they still make these actually. They're $8 at walmart" He kept making excuses so i kept taking the piss out of him in front of everyone. Making a profit is cool but don't rip people off
I'm in the sad position where...I can't really but cards physically. Big retailers near me just don't carry Yugioh. Card section is all magic, Pokemon and then maybe there will be a single of infinite forbidden. I have 1 single local card shop near me and they only sell magic cards, nothing else. So...yeah, it's online only for me. Buy the cards purely for collection purposes, and if I want to actually play the game it's either myself against myself or master duel.
I pretty much fall in this category. The closest game shop to me is about 30minute drive away so usually when I have that itch to buy Yu-Gi-Oh stuff I go to Meijer or Walmart. I only really play Yu-Gi-Oh with a few friends so don't really have to worry about meta decks or anything like that. Usually pick up the things that have like 3 pre built decks in em and usually structure decks. So this was definitely cool to watch to see how good products are for the casual players/collectors. Well done Paul 😊 PS: God I miss the days of the old tins! Like the first ones they did that each came with a special edition card and some packs. That was peak gaming right there.
I got back into the game after 10 years away. Bought a structure deck, being unaware of the power creep. Got crushed at locals. Don't have the disposable income to blow hundreds on a single deck. Tried to teach my wife so I could at least still play. Too complicated for her. Now I'm playing goat format on dueling book by myself. - Now without my nostalgia I would have completely abandoned the game. Imagine a new player coming into the game who has never played before? We're in trouble!
Depends. Here the price they slap on decks is now 26 dollars each. That's generally 2+ decks at basically everywhere else even for months post release. This is why only the decks consistently sit on the shelf.
you should rank some structure decks from the past in terms of today playability. that video would be educational and would help newbies pick their starters without getting disappointed that they bought a deck and can't play with anyone because their purchase is just too slow
I like picking up precon decks for YuGiOh when they're in stock, but on occasion I'll pick up a retro pack for old times sake, but I will say that it feels so weird just buying a pack and having no idea whats inside the set while other games I actually follow closely I can tell you whatever set just about any card is from.
I pulled a toadally awesome once from a Walmart pack when it was worth $100. I always say support your local card shop, but as long as it's an official sealed Konami pack, you should be safe buying it anywhere
Both the target and Walmart near me have people who wait and buy what they want the second it’s stocked and others who just steal the rest. Both yugioh and pokemon. It’s impossible for me to just pop in when I’m out and about to buy a pack. It’s unfortunate because the card stores don’t even have an expansive selection.
I literally just got back into yugioh irl and I saw the packs with labrynth I bought 3 full cases just to say yeah I bought 3 FULL CASES thinking I can build the deck or ATLEAST MAJORITY of it.....bro I got 1 Arianna 1 ariene and 1 welcome not even trying to be funny.....that shyt really made me open my eyes and say this is fuccn pointless I put 100$+ Into believing drop chances of me building my deck would be high.......I'll stay with digital yugioh atleast I kno exactly what I'm getting at chance and it's credibility of being pulled

Well Paul, I'll continue the Walmart Tax on occasion so long as I collect and play. At the very least, I'll use them in future Domain format decks and fun decks.
i honestly prefer consuming digital yugioh but i would like to own a physical deck. But konami is really going to run my pockets dry because of their rarity
Luckiest I ever got was I bought a tin at K-Mart and pulled a Number 11: Big Eye when it just came out. My friend asked me if I had one and I said yes I just pulled one and would sell it to him. Sold it for $35. Damn thing spiked the next week.
I'd only pick up a tin if I feel like opening a product just because. However, the only time I'll really buy from Walmart is if they have a Structure Deck that I want. I may pick up the mystery cubes because the last time I got those from Target, I managed to get a Dark Necrofear from a promo pack, which was super cool, but I'd really only pick them up just for the cube itself and use that as a deck box.
I got a few dark magician support cards from tins and random packs; magician’s salvation, dark magic expanded, piercing darkness, crossout designater, skull meister, etc. I would say it’s worth if you know cards you’re looking for. Good lucking hunting!
Yes For only the old structure decks(at mine: crystal beast, darkworld, albaz, blue eyes saga) , $8 a pop when online it would cost $15 each, it is worth it. I really hope some new ones arrive at my store(for these cheap ones like hopefully a traptrix, but I will buy the new blues eyes at full price) Also $15 tin, it is iffy but I did enjoy it as I got blue eyes jet dragon but sadly I didn’t get a useable promo(blackwing is the only one I can not make) The rest Mystery boxes are scams. The boxes are iffy, nothing useful to my decks.
Okay so here’s my two cents. I recently got the nostalgia bug about a month ago and I’ve been maybe spending a tad much on random card packs but I don’t really have a local card shop or anything similar so as far as the power cubes they are super jank and usually have MAYBE 5-10 decent cards in it. The $5 mystery packs are hit or miss and the foreign and lite packs that come in them are def wack and not worth it BUT I did pull a crazy dark magician secret out of my 4th one so for the value if youre a casual just trying to get back into it I would def recommend picking up the structure decks if you just wanna play with a friend and the mystery packs just for the random dopamine hit but realistically if you’re in my situation where you have no local scene it’s insanely hard to pull anything crazy Walmart and AVOID THE TINS AT ALL COST NOT WORTH IT YOU WONT GET ANYTHING COOL OR NOSTALGIC
The fact there's not really a good/reliabe proxy site kinda kills the casual enjoyment of this game. MtG has numerous proxy sites where a proxy is like a dollar. With Yugiohs card styles, even proxies can get up there in price
At this point here they've replaced it with mostly Pokémon and sports garbage even though those do not sell so the answer can only be no. They only re-up the stock once a week and the others remain chock full while the part of the YGO section that isn't filled with decks no one is buying (because they're a ridiculous 26 dollars each now) sits empty most of the time. They don't even carry their own stuff here now. We haven't gotten any of the new MJ Holdings stuff for like 9 months now.
As someone who buys these Walmart 4x packs in one. The pulls are decent. But the variance is like other packs. Pulled anything from bottom of the barrel to qcr purulia.
No mention of the Crystal Beasts structure deck? I mean, those have been sitting at my Walmart for a while and a three of that still probably isn't worth it but... I would ask for a sequel talking about if buying Yu-Gi-Oh from Gamestop is worth it but I know a five second video isn't worth anyone's time...
Speaking about buying packs at Walmart, my frjenf recently been getting his packs there recently, claiming that its better since its more random since they're not from an open box, like at a regular card shop. Honesty not sure how true that is, but I'll always get my boxes from local stores.
Check lut speed duels or Legendary Decks. Those are retro sets (legendary decks 2 has an xyz and synchro tho.) You could always house ruel something with you're friends!

@ked49 sorry man its the worst we atleast have master dual. I been using webcam to dual my buddy so we can use are real cards wish there was a spelltable app for yugioh like there is for magic but we just use discord
I just grabbed 2 copies of the Albaz structure deck for 8 bucks a piece from my Walmart, not bad. But if you're only going to Walmart, you're missing out.

I wish my local store would just sell boxes of cards, instead of nickle and diming singular booster packs. They just have the one box of one set. I get it, it’s a business, but i’m a buy in bulk guy, however that’s just me.
They need to make singles cheap again. Like I bought 5 singles and I paid like 30 or 40 bucks. Or card companies like Konami should do deals sales. Like buy a booster box u get a few free singles like something like that
i stopped yugioh after the set with the cartoony bicycle, plane and car monsters. after seeing sets since then, i`m glad that i didn't keep up with the game, the first 4 or 5 sets were good.
I got a structure deck for cyber dark dragon which was pretty cool I ended up winning a local tournament with the deck I also added some modern cards to like Ash blossom
Sadly my closest locals is 3 hours away and there is no way to get there except by taxi sadly and since I'm a casual that's not really worth it to go there
i have only ever pulled chase cards from blisters, sadly they have phased out blister packs and no one is talking about that. buying booster boxes suck and you get at MOST 2 holos that are above ultra a booster pack. almost always used to break even when i hit like $40 of blisters now they have these blister 4 packs that have the same and even worse pull rate than booster boxes. i have yet to get a card higher than ultra rare from these 4 packs and btw special edition 3 packs DID not include chase cards which is why we stopped buying them. seems like you have only ever bought from card shops and where i live we dont have that. 4 packs are BAD stop buying them so we can go back to getting chase hits for literally $6 and the token in packs is the biggest L to players no one wants tokens, ever.

Try speed duel cards
I work at a small business retro game store and we are now taking yugioh cards. So far they aren’t selling great
Where is your shop located?
@@jrtg5758keep an eye out, could get some sale deals if he/she needs the space (even tho I need space too, snagging some sale booster boxes for collecting is always a plus)
YuGiOh is dying. I have a card shop near me that started selling YuGiOh but stopped since Pokemon and MTG was a much bigger hit.
@@BarryMay-lp7dh I’m basically only really want to stock on anime related cards since when customers come in they still get excited to see dark magician and blue eyes. No one has a connection to what is currently made or played to the monsters themselves.
@@BarryMay-lp7dh Yugioh is not dying lmao
People have been saying that since 2006 if not earlier and Yugioh is still going.
Seeing Albaz Strike for $8usd hurts, I bought 2x structure decks for a combined total of $100usd in Australia!
BEWD out here still catchin' strays. I still love you, Blue Eyes! TCG world champion deck 2016 (with no shenanigans whatsoever), baby!
I hate how the Tokens in the tins take up the Secret Rare slot in a pack...
I don't think my wally mart sells yugioh anymore 😭
Finding yugioh at Walmart is like where’s Waldo can’t find any close by
Oh it's even worse at some shops.
A guy was trying to sell saga of blue eyes for $16 and went "that's the standard"
I told him how old it was and he went "that's why it's so much"
I told him "they still make these actually. They're $8 at walmart"
He kept making excuses so i kept taking the piss out of him in front of everyone.
I can’t even buy yugioh in Walmart, every time I go they are always out of stock
Well done Paul 😊
PS: God I miss the days of the old tins! Like the first ones they did that each came with a special edition card and some packs. That was peak gaming right there.
Target has 0 selection, but Walmarts near me are pretty decent (though card shops are obviously WAYYYY better)
Anyone remember when Yu-Gi-Oh was about playing and having fun with your friends and not see who can gamble the most money like some slot machine?
For booster packs, no. Structure decks, yes. Tins, don’t bother anywhere.
Basically this
The hidden arsenal boxes were pretty good too , you get a promo , a dice , and 2 packs with a decent amount of cards
@@qdogly opening packs in the tcg is Essentially grambling except we know the dealer is cheating lol. I have done this more than once and everytime I tell myself what is wrong w me. Could’ve just ordered singles and at least have what I was searching for
@jrtg5758 literally went to tcg player n NOW I see why the prices are so expensive bro this shyt is definitely gambling and They raping our packets with no real payment in return
Try speed duel
Dude the background music at the start was fire
Walmart has the lowest price of Dark World structure decks for me. That's about it
Trollandtoad had them for 1.99$ 😂
@@NiceBoyAdam LOOOL
Well Paul, I'll continue the Walmart Tax on occasion so long as I collect and play.
At the very least, I'll use them in future Domain format decks and fun decks.
I wish my local walmart had those Albaz decks! They really only have BEWD, traptrix, rainbow dragon, and (non-discounted) fire king decks.
I would gladly swap stores with you, I want the trap trix deck.
I like how you preached about walmart
Average Joe here I randomly buy Yu-Gi-Oh stuff at Wal-Mart and Dollar General 😅
I miss the old days when I would turn in pop/soda cans for $ to buy the individual packs that were $3.99, from my local Walgreens...good times.
Last year's tin had quite a lot of the Kashtira cards but they weren't really common
Dang ypur walmart is stacked mina always look like a barren waste land in the steadily shrinking card section
i honestly prefer consuming digital yugioh but i would like to own a physical deck.
A structure deck in big box retailers in Canada are 18-21 dollars despite LGS keeping the 9-12 dollar range
Reprints (a.k.a milking) murders the joy and fun. New set comes out, it's the same set of cards you bought or have
I got a few dark magician support cards from tins and random packs; magician’s salvation, dark magic expanded, piercing darkness, crossout designater, skull meister, etc. I would say it’s worth if you know cards you’re looking for. Good lucking hunting!
I mean yea. $8 traptrix or branded decks. Rda sometimes is also $8 depending on what Wal-Mart.
Yes
For only the old structure decks(at mine: crystal beast, darkworld, albaz, blue eyes saga) , $8 a pop when online it would cost $15 each, it is worth it. I really hope some new ones arrive at my store(for these cheap ones like hopefully a traptrix, but I will buy the new blues eyes at full price)
Also $15 tin, it is iffy but I did enjoy it as I got blue eyes jet dragon but sadly I didn’t get a useable promo(blackwing is the only one I can not make)
The rest
Mystery boxes are scams.
My Walmart doesn’t even carry TCG 😭
I would like a pack of cards that only includes commons, that would at least allow me to get more variety of cards and make different decks.
Bruh I live in Los Angeles and can't find Yu-Gi-Oh at any retailer. It's always sold out 😅
The fact there's not really a good/reliabe proxy site kinda kills the casual enjoyment of this game. MtG has numerous proxy sites where a proxy is like a dollar. With Yugiohs card styles, even proxies can get up there in price
There are two Walmarts near me and one of them didn't have any Yu-Gi-Oh
The other had the cards behind a closed register
At this point here they've replaced it with mostly Pokémon and sports garbage even though those do not sell so the answer can only be no.
They only re-up the stock once a week and the others remain chock full while the part of the YGO section that isn't filled with decks no one is buying (because they're a ridiculous 26 dollars each now) sits empty most of the time.
They don't even carry their own stuff here now. We haven't gotten any of the new MJ Holdings stuff for like 9 months now.
All the Walmart in my city stopped carrying all forms of TCG due to low sales and high theft
Sometimes I get good Pulls from packs i buy at Wally world.. Sometimes They are duds.
The mystery power cubes used to be good. They had 5-6 packs, and you get the cube. I haven't bought one since they changed them
Team aps is the best yugituber let's goo
Speaking about buying packs at Walmart, my frjenf recently been getting his packs there recently, claiming that its better since its more random since they're not from an open box, like at a regular card shop. Honesty not sure how true that is, but I'll always get my boxes from local stores.
I bought the 2019 tin only for looks ^^
Miss old yugioh it was just simple to learn 😢
Check lut speed duels or Legendary Decks. Those are retro sets (legendary decks 2 has an xyz and synchro tho.) You could always house ruel something with you're friends!
I love this channel so much
2:40 bought an info one, got silhouehat rabbit
interesting that idk if any other Walmart does this but they cut their prices for old yugioh packs to 3 bucks.
Thats all there is around here in Indiana my locals dont carry yugioh at all they got sleeves sometimes 😂😂. Not a single soul around here plays the game no local events nothing
I have the same pain, I don’t even have a local card shop so the best I can do is Walmart and even then they have next to nothing.
@ked49 sorry man its the worst we atleast have master dual. I been using webcam to dual my buddy so we can use are real cards wish there was a spelltable app for yugioh like there is for magic but we just use discord
I got an Italian pack mixed in with an English one from Walmart
in my area, pokemon has taken over , no yugioh other than the mystery box and starter deck in walmart and targets
I mean watching Larry in The Hole should show you that Walmart is a terrible place to buy packs
True!
Good ol' Paulmart
I just grabbed 2 copies of the Albaz structure deck for 8 bucks a piece from my Walmart, not bad. But if you're only going to Walmart, you're missing out.
That's a decent snag, though!
@@TeamAPS Right? Because of all the Branded re-releases and support I was on my way to a full deck just from buying product over the last year and change. This got me so much closer to a complete deck, though I really want to run VV in TCG because I've been enjoying it in MD.
I wish my local store would just sell boxes of cards, instead of nickle and diming singular booster packs. They just have the one box of one set. I get it, it’s a business, but i’m a buy in bulk guy, however that’s just me.
You realize that the average Joe nowadays buys his stuff from Amazon.
Those rage of abyss token cards suck
They need to make singles cheap again. Like I bought 5 singles and I paid like 30 or 40 bucks. Or card companies like Konami should do deals sales. Like buy a booster box u get a few free singles like something like that
Music is too loud
I used to love the tins. It's sad seeing them get worse as time goes on.
i stopped yugioh after the set with the cartoony bicycle, plane and car monsters. after seeing sets since then, i`m glad that i didn't keep up with the game, the first 4 or 5 sets were good.
Sometimes
I would have a question. If I control my opponent’s monster and it gets destroyed, who takes the battle damage?
Idk some locals out here charging $5.99 per pack. Like 2 of the 3 near me have it that high. Only one does 3 for 11.99. But they run out fast
It's worth it if you can find anything.
Master Duel is the way now
I got a structure deck for cyber dark dragon which was pretty cool I ended up winning a local tournament with the deck I also added some modern cards to like Ash blossom
Man, I miss special editions.
Sadly my closest locals is 3 hours away and there is no way to get there except by taxi sadly and since I'm a casual that's not really worth it to go there
I still regret buying 3x of Saga of Blue Eyes Dragon, rip 30€.
some walmarts have their cards behind counters and other not accessible for customer areas
i have only ever pulled chase cards from blisters, sadly they have phased out blister packs and no one is talking about that. buying booster boxes suck and you get at MOST 2 holos that are above ultra a booster pack. almost always used to break even when i hit like $40 of blisters now they have these blister 4 packs that have the same and even worse pull rate than booster boxes. i have yet to get a card higher than ultra rare from these 4 packs and btw special edition 3 packs DID not include chase cards which is why we stopped buying them. seems like you have only ever bought from card shops and where i live we dont have that. 4 packs are BAD stop buying them so we can go back to getting chase hits for literally $6 and the token in packs is the biggest L to players no one wants tokens, ever.
We need this video for mtg plzzzz tell the proffessor
