Hey, it's such a great satisfy to watch your perfectly designed base which fits in a greatly well-planned areas. I'd like to learn lot from your designs and concepts. thanks everytime for your videos!
It took me ~200 hours to get to 1 science/second. Another 50 hours after that how to ratio assemblers to bluebelts so trains are always to show up on time. I understand the lack of becons and modules. Green chips are great for death worlds. I put orange chips in the science labs (if I understand correctly the way the purple bar fills up just makes uniform consumption harder to predict in the short term) but blue chips can be avoided if you just build out more 'properly'
Cheers dude. Yesterday I was burnt out, today is better, tomorrow I'll be ready for the next thing. I already have 60% of my next video written. I swear I have an addiction to making things. Factories, timelapses, tutorials, furniture.... I might have a whole other channel coming soon
Great base! Clean builds as always. Challenge: Bob's + Angels using mostly Fish/Farming/Puffers to make all the things? Ofc you gotta mine ore and such but it should be possible lol :D
Cheers dude. This one broke me a little bit. It isn't finished and I don't know when it will be. I'm playing a lot of satisfactory at the moment and I'm really enjoying it so I'm gonna stick with that for the moment. Factorio has recently felt like work. Isn't angel and bob hard enough already?! Just because it is possible does not mean it is worth the hassle of actually doing it!!
I can confirm that Factorio is stuttering on very large maps like yours by itself even on the fastest machines today. I started your truly excellent mega-base on a MacBook Air M2 with maximum upgrade and its stuttering - so the lags are due to Factorio itself and do not depend an computer speed. Thanks for sharing your outstanding base.
I have AMD Ryzen 7 with geforce gtx 1080ti, ok not the most up to date but should still be more than capable of running factorio at a decent lick. I am going to switch on individual pancakes in the base until the game can take no more and then I can safely say that 2000spm isn't really possible because I don't think there is any way the factory is gonna get there at anything like a playable speed. We will see though No problem on the sharing buddy, I get a big kick watching these things back. Thanks for the compliments

@@ritinfek I have already promised to do a condensed full play through of my next factory, without any game breaking mods, even possibly without armour or robots from the beginning, I'll have a think about that last one. @@theotherbigfoot You mention in one of your videos that you build structures to last (forever) and not be taken apart later on. What interests me (I think many) how do you achieve this given that you don’t have the tools neither machinery when starting in vanilla. Moreover, please include the factorio planner or helmod or factory planner in your instructions, as factorio is imho all about math. Thanks, in advance
Next factory I work on I will do progress videos, not necessarily unedited, I think a series of 6-8 hour videos wouldn't be all that interesting, but if I can get that down to 30-40 minutes then that might be workable. Let's see what I can come up with
@@theotherbigfoot Yes please. Go Vanilla (factory planner included) but don't compress to much. Best would be, you spit the video in editions of 20-30 min each- that would be great. And - why not try a Vanilla opera on a very small ribbon world?
@@victorimperator4250 My shortest playthrough is about 80hours, 6-8 hours is about the limit of what I can do in a single day!! If I could do it in 6-8 hours then I'd be speedrunning the game. I'm not a speed runner, I'm the opposite of that!!
@@ritinfek I'm thinking 30-40 min progress video from a single days play. So for a whole factory we are probably talking about 30 videos. I think that should cover it!!
The point many are waiting for is how you manage to setup the very first steps into the game. E.g. question: One need a incredible amount of gears in the later game - how to set up this at the beginning small (later a huge) machinery so that nothing has to be destroyed later when enlarging

I hate beacons so much. I don't think I'll ever use beacons. Modules I like to keep in my back pocket just in case something goes wrong. If I start using them everywhere and I find a problem then I have nowhere left to go to fix it. The way I do it, if I find a problem then a couple of modules later it is fixed. Also, if I design my base around modules then I have to wait for the factory to produce those modules before it can run at full speed. And modules are expensive. So while the factory is handicapped because I don't have any modules it also has to produce hundreds (thousands?) of really expensive things while running slowly. It will only reach capacity when every single damn assembly machine is fully stocked up on modules. I am maybe answering the wrong question here. This is why I don't use modules or beacons in general. Has it crossed my mind to do a big base with modules and beacons just because that is something I've never done before? Yes it has, and maybe one day I'll do it, but for the time being I am bored of vanilla. I did a racetrack for crying out loud!! I was so bored of the challenge of vanilla that I made a damn racetrack. Then there's the DLC, and then there's my list of tutorial/guide type videos that only ever seems to grow no matter how many I make. There's stuff I want to do that I probably will and then there's stuff I want to do that I probably won't. Beacons and modules is probably of the latter.
@theotherbigfoot ooh, but still, why’d u not get as much ressource as possible from those, of did u have mining outposts somewhere 50 km away, i think i missed something here
@@poemaakadbra7394 For this factory I was trying to push the SPM as much as I could so all resources are set to max and biters are off. Any individual patch of ore wasn't all that important because there were plenty others I could use.
i like this kind of timelapse where it isn't screenshots but actual video, love to see the items fill in the belts
This is truly amazing. Still, I'm disappointed in the loss of the crashed spaceship. RIP little spaceship.
me too, I always keep it
Overture! Perfection. Love your designs, they're so effin clean. Edit: Finished it now, bravo.
The design, the base, the editing: everything is perfect and the music fits well. Great job
Really well done man! I was on the stream watching you build some of this stuff. Also, thanks for explaining to me how that timelapse mod worked.
Cheers dude, thanks for checking in on the stream.
Another TLBE tutorial is coming, although I don't know when, satisfactory has me a little hooked
Omg please do a vanilla playthrough. Would really like to see your building process in more detail.
Great video as always. Cheers!
