Hoofddorp - The Netherlands

In early November 2021, I visited this small town located in North Holland in the Netherlands. Hoofddorp (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦoːvdɔr(ə)p]; literally translated as Main Village). The town has a rich history dating back to the 1800 as a line of defense to Amsterdam. It's beautiful fall foliage, it's small town flavor and it's friendly inhabitants make Hoofddorp the perfect place to spend some time if you're in North Holland. And, I almost forgot, it's shopping - Weekmarkt Hoofddorp Centrum (Street Markets), De Meerse Beeldende Kunst (Art Galleries) and Winkelcentrum Viermeren (Gift & Specialities Shops)
