If they could add proximity voice chat to Realms that would be awesome!
Adding on to this they should add a way pc bedrock and x box bedrock can voice chat with each other through the consoles mic

They said they wouldn't because "other voice chat applications exist" but I think Bedrock is a special case since it's many different platforms
@CrapZackGames well the x box app through your phone is pretty versatile I have a pc and I can talk to someone on all platforms you just need to invite their microsoft account linked with their mojang and then their account will be in a party chat with you I know not really intuitive for Playstation players but I converted to pc and Microsoft is unavoidable and you playing with x box players your gonna need the x box app
I love they’ve upped the render distance - it sucks when you have large builds and can’t see the whole thing.
do you know if you have to have a next gen console to be able to see further, on my realm i’m still stuck at 16 chunks???

I am incredibly frustrated with the highest tier having a 10 player limit. I run a realm for a community where we have hit the player limit many times and not everyone can participate. We need more tiers with more simultaneous players.
For now your best option is a server. I'm partnered with Sparkedhost, and have multiple servers through them, that have moments of 25+ players online
@@Prowl8413 which would be magnificent if consoles natively supported custom servers. This is another thing I've griped at Mojang about, which is met with finger-pointing at the console manufacturers.
@davidmarker8576 yes, but apps like Bedrock connect get around that. Most of my player base is console
I hate how the update has changed mobile controls and not allowed for people to go back to the Og style

The only thing i hope they add is a way to turn off showing coordinates for structures like if each player can turn on and off the thing that shows the coordinates of structures they find
Yeah that would be a good option.
This thing has also some bad sides. Like I can't have anything private anymore because everything I build or discover gets leaked by the game itself. I hope that they'll add a thing to turn auto-stories off. Image building a secret base 1000 blocks from your home because you don't want your stuff stolen and then the game says all the coordinates and stuff
It will only say coordinates for structures and apparently mountains peaks, so unless you say the coordinates of the pic you send to the stories the coordinates will still be hidden

Every time i try open the realms stories to see who it is, Minecraft closes, and i even see that there are many members of realms that are not part of it. I would need everyone to be a part to see who enters and who doesnt, it is a beatifull creative city. To have follow-up if something appears broken.
I have an open bug regarding Realms. If you download your world after a certain size (like around 50 MB), it is not possible to upload it back to the server. I had to use a world editor to trim it down below 50 MB before it would upload correctly. Eventually, I lost interest and started hosting my own servers using virtualization and the Bedrock Dedicated Server (BDS).
I won't be happy with realms until we can have more sim distance
Just curious, what if you want to be a part of realm stories but you don’t want your progress status to show up on realm stories, or does it not show up automatically such as finding certain structures.
So I had no idea what I was doing so I clicked not opt in and now I can’t see stories. How do I opt in
one thing they really need to change is a option to disable events showing coordinates for example if you activate a beacon it says your coordinates and as far as i know the only way to not have that is for the owner of the realm to delete the story wich especially if youre only like a friend of a friend from the owner it might take some time wich is really bad if its a bigger realm with more people its also pretty sad that you cant colorcode text anymore in the realm posts
If you opt out will other still see if you find a new structure?
When I do click story’s my game crashes so does my friends

Adding on to this they should make a chat area for all minecraft players to chat about minecraft like on the game or make a social media type app to talk all things minecraft

Since update realm has been randomly crashing and just deleting the last 15 or so minutes of progress. When switching from old max to new max render distance doesnt show any more than it did before. Stories button isn't even there. I'm on Xbox series x btw

@SecondSecond-sw6cn none of the things I mentioned have ever chappened to me until this update but yea I'm sure most consoles are slow but my personal world runs fine with zero issues it's only our realm that crashes lags and deletes progress.

Anyone else having issues taking damage when jumping near vines and ferns while wearing an elytra since the update yesterday?
Thats just minecraft being minecraft. Dont jump near vines with a elytra, thatll solve it :)
I want the timeline feature, i just need to convince the realm owner to opt in.

I hope the events are not automatic, because what about pvp or faction oriented realms...
You can opt out of it if you want, until they add this feature.

It’s 10 players.
10 people that's it they could have 4 from 1 console and the rest from others but as soon as it hits 10 people no more can join
10 players + the realm owner in the relam at a time. So I think split screen counts against player count.
I updated but my realm doesn't even have the new realm stories features.. 💀

Voice proximity chat is a quality of life issue.
realm suck there alot off biggs in marketplace i one buy a market place pass store froze up after reset consul i had 2 realm servers then my rea;m got switch 1 expored realm was still aces able for my friend but not for me my world got switch from realm 1 to realm 2 and world in realm 2 got deleted i supose to have the market pass but yet i had to pay for every thing fill price

They added a command for that a while ago. I forget what it is, but guessing Prowl has it in a vid or google search would tell you what it is. I’ve got it set to 1 player sleep in my realm.
It does yes, but if you as operator set it to 1% when you log out, it reverts back to 100%. There is a jira log for this issue, but so far it's not been resolved 😢

Yeah I think the option would be nice, with a warning letting people know it could effect performance. It would work OK I think on realms with just a couple players, but it doesn't even perform well on a very powerful Bedrock server right now with a lot of players.

@@chrishamman9304 found a fix. you have to reinstall mc. witch is really stupid. my wifi took over an hour to reinstall it
Don't opt in it will make the realm glitched and disconnect you every 5 minutes

Except iOS realms plus opting in crashed the patch. So iOS is coming later. Being sponsored you can’t tell the whole truth.
in conclusion realms are still not worth it. if you had a realm on xbox you would set it up with a club then from there you could see whos on most recent and see posts. this basically took features on xbox and put them on the realms. this is a scam the only decent upgrade is the render distance? still over priced considering the options you have elsewhere
Imagine encouraging broke parents to have to waste more money. All this add on stuff is literally fake mods for expensive prices. Just play mojangs old Minecraft guys

Mob farms are not broken that I know of.
