@@bonvivantlifestyle It is. Fun fact: if you buy a perpetual calender IWC,they provide parts w numbers for the 22nd,23rd aand 24th century. 😆. Talk about quality. And confidence,FTM.
IWC is a wonderful and underrated brand. I bought a Big pilot 43 on bracelet. I have not taken it off in 8 months. It's so comfortable and beautiful. I am going to buy a chrono in green on a strap for Christmas. I will then be able to hot swap them.
@@pendaranroberts4350 great idea for swapping! The big pilot doesn’t overpower your wrist? I have average-sized wrists and thought it looked way too big when I tried it on - beautiful watch though.
@@bonvivantlifestyle I have the 43MM big pilot not the 46mm. It's big but that's the point. It doesn't overhang. I'm going to buy the chrono 43mm in green too. I love the idea of swapping between them and having a strap too.
Great choice, i tried the blue dial chronograph in 41mm and thought it wore and looked amazing. I own a iwc mark 18 and its that good i sold my other watches. My favourite brand.
Awesome first choice from one of the greatest watch makers. It was Omega that got me into luxury watches. And after nearly 1.5 decades and countless pieces in and out of my collection, IWC now ranks equally in the "tugging at my heart strings" category. My Ingenieur and Mark take it right up to all the other big boys.
Thank you! Yes, Omega was up there for me (really like both speedmaster and seamaster), but IWC simply impressed me too much. Looking forward to starting off on this journey, especially after hearing from people like yourself. Cheers
I own the blue dial version. Love the watch. However it took allmost a year with five...yes five replaced watches until i finaly got a working watch. The issue was that sometimes when i started the chronograph the watch totaly stopped and then when i stopped the chrono the watch started ticking again. Now IWC has made an modification of the minute wheel and the orcilating pinion kogs. Now it woork better but it has happened a few times that the watch still stops when i activate the chrono but way less times than before the modification. Enjoy you timepiece
Wow, 5 watch replacements!? And here I was frustrated by 1 replacement... glad to hear you finally got a working watch. I did too and haven't had issues with the chronograph since, but it's a good reminder to everyone to test ALL functions of their watch before leaving the store. Thanks for watching!
The IWC Pilot Chrono 41 is a great watch! In fact, I think it's one of the best chronographs out there, compared to other luxury watches. I've also got an Omega Speedmaster moonwatch, but the fit/finish of the IWC is better than a Speedy, in my opinion! I recommend buying it on bracelet. But it a buyer wants it on the strap, I personally like the rubber more so versus the leather strap due to the overall proportions of the watch.
Welcome to the club! That's a good one! Also agree on IWC customer service. It is top notch! It's a shame it took me so long to realize it! Better late than never!
Bought my green Chrono. It's really cool having it and the big pilot 43! The strap can swap between it and the big pilot but not the bracelet. I ordered another bracelet, because I wanted to have both options. My experience dealing with them through their website was top notch. It's amazing to me the pop up box on their website allows you to talk to real people! That can't be cheap! I could check my order and get info and have them email me back all through just texting them on their website. Loved it!
I W C is certainly a fine time piece , i love the look of the pilots and the other makes are nice . my other fav would be the monaco gulf edition by TAG .
Thank you! Realized I didn’t talk about the bracelet nearly enough. It’s as stunning in design as it is in wearability. Really exceeded my expectations. Calf-skin leather strap is good too, but bracelet is superior in my view.
Such a cool watch, congratulations! 😎 👌 But I'm not sure if you can call IWC and this kind of chronograph "quiet luxury". 😉 I like your video, best greetings from Berlin
Great choice,mate.
My love for IWC still is growing after buying my 1st one almost a decade ago. Be well.
Cheers! Sounds like your watch is performing well after a decade!

Wow, that’s incredible. You’re tempting me!
Lovely watch and vid. Be careful adjusting the date between 8p-3a-ish per the manual.

I was tempted to go with the blue dial, but thought black might be more versatile. Blue was stunning though. Love the mark 18 - great tastes!
Whoa, that was so superb and so epic :) Excellent stuff :)
Thank you 😊

Ive got the same but blue dial. Bracelet, rubber and leather strap. Enjoy it and wear it in good health :).

I’ve looked at IWC for years. I’ve bought Nomos and Tudor…still have my eye on IWC.
Solid brands too. I’m still learning the industry, but couldn’t be happier with my IWC.
