Curtain Call with David Spatz - Guest: Jamie Farr

He turned a one day gig in 1972 into an eleven year run on one of television's all time greatest shows. We caught up with Jamie Farr in 2008 and found out that his story goes far beyond his Corporal Klinger days and yet is oddly similar to his famous MASH character. What a classy guy, always enjoyed Jamie Farr, no matter what he was in. Very pleased to learn of how wonderful Red Skelton was to him. I read just before I saw this that Red gave Jamie a St. Christopher's medal(Red was a devout Catholic) and Jamie said he wore it all the time and cherished it immensely! Some terrific people in Hollywood, especially back from the 40's 50's 60's and 70's, now days, it's too much about themselves, but I hope I am wrong and that is still out there between the actors!
