As far as I am concerned, Alan, Mike, Loretta, and your fellow cast made one of the very best programs ever to appear on TV. Thank you all!
I love that Loretta and Alan are active on social media but I wish Mike had a social media presence. He s such an amazing guy, who has done so much post-MASH. I admire him so much and he has inspired me to take action for various causes. All three are national treasures.
@@Keepitblank : I have always wanted to write to Mike, how can fans write to him, do you know?
I was lucky enough to meet Mr. Farrell several years back. He was on a motorcycle trip. He was so kind and just an absolute legend.
These people will forever be in my heart!! M*A*S*H, has helped me in more ways than anyone will ever know!!!!!!!
I think I prefer this on youtube. I love being able to see everyone. Podcasts are fine when driving but this is better when youre working at a computer.
I am 41 years old from Texas. I have been watching MASH my whole life! I watch it from ep1 to the finale about 2 or 3 times a year. When I'm blue, it makes me feel very cozy and warm. Brilliant performances, writing, and you have made something truly great, that will be passed on for many many generations to come. You guys and gals of the 4077 made real LIGHT for the dark world. Thank you!
Mr. Alda spoke at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts when I was there. By far the most humble and talented actor I’ve ever met. He’s in it for the craft, not the fame. My wife and I have been enjoying rewatching the entire series. What a great time it was to be entertained.
It's amazing, my wife and I are both pushing 50, and grew up in the '70s watching MASH. We've re-discovered the series now on METV and watch it every night. It's so comforting seeing the faces and hearing the voices we grew up with. Great to see these consummate professionals doing so well.
My favorite Actor of all time!! Alan Alda!!!!!
Bless these wonderful gifted actors that brought so much to our lives! Thank you Loretta, Mike & Alan! ❤
Seeing them together (albeit on "screen") after all these years, is wonderful. Their voices have changed a little, their speech speed has slowed down somehow but their "aura" is still there full throttle. Love you guys.
So great to hear you all talking about connections. I was a huge M*A*S*H fan when I was too young to understand most of it. Than you for your incredible work. M*A*S*H remains my all time favourite TV show thanks to all of you.
I'm 30, was raised by my grandparents and grew up watching M*A*S*H and other classics and I enjoy being able to have been exposed to it I still watch it now and reminiscing the times with my grandparents unfortunately they passed away but this was a treat to discover and come across.
Mike's book "Just Call Me Mike' is a fantastic read.
I'm 42, watched the series as a kid, a teen, and an adult. Mash made me laugh so much over a lifetime but it also made me cry at some episodes. It really knew how to tug on your heartstrings with each and every character.
Those three! What "an honor and a privilege and a pleasure!"
I just came across this. Being born in 79, I grew up with M*A*S*H in syndication and love all three of you - you're all looking great!
I was born in '79 as well and grew up watching the show in syndication ad well. Love watching the show still to this day and never get tired of it.
Hi Alan, we spoke once via an Internet startup many years ago. Just yesterday I stumbled upon Alan Alda's First TV Appearance (The Phil Silvers Show, 1958) on UA-cam. You couldn't have been very old. It was refreshing to see your acting at such a young age. It was obviously in your blood. Cheers.
Yes!!!!!!🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Memories of my childhood. This is so sweet :)
Loretta Swit impressed me here. Thanks for uploading.
I am now 38 years old. I bought the dvd box and saw every episode at least 5 times. It is wonderfull. But the last episode I didn't watch. I want the serie kipping alive. The Fact I don't know the end is keeping the story alive. Thank you for such a great Serie!
fantastic chemistry after all these years amongst the three actors and friends, what a blessing to connect
Happy to see you, so happy ❤️ I hope you will be with us forever.
Man they sure aged like fine wine! All three still look as gorgeous as ever
The goodbye scene the last episode. B.j. and Hawkeye saying goodbye... The only one that choked me up more was when radar came in and said that Henry had died. You guys were awesome.
I’m 55 now, but I watched Mash first time when I was 25, and probably 6 times more, over the years. I lived in Romania and I didn’t speak English when I watched it first, it was only the subscription... It was my guilty pleasure! And it still is! Thank you, guys! ❤️
I still watch Mash dvr’d every weekday. I’ve seen all the episodes of course since the show was on…but I can’t get enough. I love you all so much. You’re only a few years older than I am…72…and it’s so strange as I’ve grown into seniorhood with you. ❤️❤️❤️
M.A.S.H and Star Trek, the two shows that would bring my dad and I together.....
Lovely to see you all. My husband and I are 70 now and we loved seeing you on MASH all those years ago and guess what, we are watching the whole series again now as on TV every night here there are two episodes. If I didn't have any screen in front of me and I just heard your voices I would know exactly who was talking you are all so familiar to us. Not alone you but all the others as well, and sadly those who have passed on. Can't thank you enough for the wonderful fun and entertainment we get from it over and over again.
EXCELLENT 💙 you all🙏
I grew up watching M*A*S*H with my father as a young boy, now im a full adult watching this now. How time flies!!!
Grew up on Mash! Truly no better show or cast ever on TV since. Hot lips H always reminded me of a younger version of my ww2 army nurse Gma! She was tough as nails, beautiful and is still kicking at 98! Thank you all for such a wonderful show!
You guys are great. Great acting and a great series. Thank you for all the laughs.
Wow Loretta really has not changed much at all, still as beautiful as ever!
So good to see you guys (and lady) together again, sharing stories and having fun with bringing back some memories of the golden days of M*A*S*H*.
Still to this day, that is one of my all-time favorite tv shows, the opening tune alone... such a perfect choice, it sets the mood right away and fits so very well with the show.
The "The Martinis & Medicine collection" boxset sits proudly on display next to my television and gets regularly played, even after so many viewings, i still keep discovering tiny details and the show gets better and better each time.
There is only one episode i find harder and harder to watch, and no, it isnt "Goodbye, farewell and Amen", it is, maybe you already guessed it, its "Abyssinia, Henry".. such a heartbreaking episode, with such powerful emotions... it really is one of the best episodes.. but equally one of the most difficult episodes to watch because it has so much impact.
Thnx for being a part of my life from a young age up till today... not so young anymore hehehe.
I associate these guys with happy times in my life, the whole family gathering around watching every episode on a weekly basis because that's how television was back in the day.I grew up,went through my childhood in the '70s,teen years in the '80s all the while enjoying the laughter with my family at the antics of the gang at the 4077th.We all had tears in our eyes in that final episode as did the rest of the world.
Now here I am with my wife binge watching MASH thinking of family and friends that have gone, cast members that have gone...but so many happy memories.
Goodbye,Farewell and Amen...but only 'til we meet again.🥰
This is a awesome podcast I grew up watching MASH and I am still watching it on streaming. I still laugh and cry and my dad was a doctor and he passed 18 months ago and this show is my connection to him. He was the old school Doctor so he was like Hawkeye extremely talented diagnostic, he was like Charles .y Dad attended Harvard and Harvard Medical school and he was like BJ so caring and professional and like Cnl Potter the old time Doctor. Love this Podcast I went to Emerson College and got my degree in Communications and I have 2 Podvast myself and was a Mobile disc jockey entertainment guy forvover 30 years too. My daughter is off to college to study Drama/Theater she loves it! Please write back if you can... Great Podcast Mr. Alda!

I am in my early 20's (pushing mid 20's to be fair) and I grew up watching this show with my dad as its one of his favourite shows. I've resonated so much with this show and even now I put it on as a comfort. Recently I discovered this podcast and have been enamored and have been lucky to have it to distract me from my mundane work life. This episode was an extra special treat.
I see Mike’s pullin’ a Kenny Rogers look there with the beard hahahah 😂😂 it’s always good to see the cast of “M*A*S*H” reunite and talk about old and new times.
Loved watching this actors work together back in the MASH days
To this day I still watch MASH, been watching since the 1970's when I was very young there were many things, and meanings about the show, and it's characters that I didn't understand, then when I watched as an adult the show took on a new meaning to me, all the humor hidden in such a serious show, and then my life's work put me into the EMS field which was a civilian adaptation of the military medical core. Not the same situation, but still very similar in many ways.. I've carried a little bit of these characters with me throughout my life, and I appreciate all of you so very much, Thank you 💯👍❤️❤️
I could've listened to you guys chat all day 💜
I vividly remember how my dad scolded me when I was playing on a gaming console because he wanted to watch MASH and I wasn't given much of a choice so I watched with him, years passed and I've grown to love watching MASH with my dad and all of my family, then the pandemic happened and MASH is the strongest thing I have of my dad, to remember him as I was as a kid, love the series and I love all of you who made it happened.
So Wonderful to see these guys again!! I am so Glad to see and hear that they are doing well and enjoying life the best they can! Thank you Lady and Gentlemen!
I can still remember when Hawkeye actually reached into a person's chest and massaged it to resuscitate a person. Something that was not ever really tried in any show to this day. It was so dramatic and had me at the edge of my seat. It made me feel like holding my breath from the tension in the scene.
Exellent! Nice people !
It is so great seeing you all! You three have had my love an admiration my entire life!
This just made me smile :) Thank you so much!! I'm glad to see you all are well
Great job Alan.
My favorite humans!!! You all are amazing. I will forever drop everything just to listen to these episodes because they bring so much joy to my heart.
After rewatching Mash this year, since I was a kid in the 80s, I want to express my gratitude for all your wonderful work. Thank you all so very much!
I love you all !
MASH is my nr. 1 medicine.
Whenever I have a headache, I watch it.
My dad raised me on Mash. I love the show and at 37 years old I can quote lines from the show at times just looking at still frames from the show. I am currently binge watching it on Hulu. I love all the actors and characters of Mash. May you all be happy, healthy and may God bless you for your work bringing those characters to life!!
This is great. I Love seeing you all.
MASH the best of all programmes, I have the set and watch regularly, love all the crew but Alan probably has my heart. So lovely to see them together and keeping in touch, it really was a one off program sadly they don't make them like that anymore.
Love to all,
I love seeing the three of you together!!! 😎❤️
I love seeing you guys together. And even though it's not the same as meeting in person, it's good that you can do video calls, staying safe but still able to see and talk to each other. MASH was fantastic and a big part of why was the cast.
It's so weird seeing all of us getting old.
Hopefully All (every single person involved) with the 4077 M*A*S*H cast knows how very much I Thank You. Communication, Family, Friends, interactions, smiles, laughter and tears. All were portrayed in the series. I am pretty certain, there are many people, like me, who felt connected and comforted by All your gifts. Thank you ❤
Such wonderful memories of these 3....love them!
I love love love seeing them together, sharing the same space. All a unique influence in my life that is hard to measure.
It's so great to see the three of you even though you're not together, and yet you are!
i love them all so much 😭💛
I Absolutely LOVE YA Alan Alda…You are The Real Deal!! An Absolute Angel…An American Treasure ;] Thank you for All The Fabulous Entertainment!! To Everyone Who Laboured & Worked So Hard on MASH…WE Are All Eternally Grateful & WE Salute You…Perfectly Acted…Perfectly Written…The Most Important Message that MASH brought to Television Viewers is this….WAR IS HELL!! I'm in my 30s and I LOVE MASH I LOVE ALL THE CHARACTERS AND I THANK YOU FOR THE PERSON THIS SHOW IS MAKING OF ME AS A PERSON. Bless yo all and I hope and dream to meet any member of the cast if God allows me to.
I'm so glad you are still all alive and doing well it's great you all stay connected and have such good senses of humor over all the world changes and challenges 😎
This is awesome!!! 🙌
Magnificent Alan Alda ❤️
I watched MASH when I was much younger and didn’t understand much. But, I am now in my 50s and just finished watching the whole series on Hulu. I cried like a baby when I watched the last episode. I didn’t want the series to end. Take care!
I love them so much!
Currently on season 6 of mash and loving every episode ❤
I watched M*A*S*H from the time I was 9 into college. So I grew up with the series and the characters. The show did such a great job of balancing humor with the horrors of war, and it did that with great heart and sensitivity. The commentaries on war were so strong that I thought the series would lead to the end of war. But back then I wasn't aware of the power of the military industrial complex. Now I work to make connections for people between climate change and the U.S. military. And I appreciate that Veterans for Peace now has the "Climate Crisis and Militarism Project". It's lovely to see these three fine actors doing well.
I just heard "Making the End a Beginning"
Growing up Irish Catholic in New Jersey I was never so inspired and influenced by a Jewish Rabbi. I have to say the show put my past in clear and vivid perspective. Thanks Alan. I felt that one deep in the heart.
I wish that Alan Alda could know how much he influenced my life, after watching him in MASH as a young boy in 1978-79
For all his terrible and immoral behavior in that show, he proved to be a solid roll model for the rest of my life because he always arrived at a point of being a real person- one I could admire and aspire to be.
I loved watching this
Just to show how perfect of a match Loretta Swit was for Margaret Houlihan, I seriously thought she was the actress in the movie Back to School, but instead was Sally Kellerman who had played the original Margaret in the movie. Loretta like so many of the characters in the series evolved as the series progressed to someone you could look up to.
I've been watching MASH with regularity for more than forty years. It's still my series of choice if I'm sitting down to lunch. I keep waiting to get tired of it, but I never do.
I never grow tired of M*A*S*H. From the first shot of Hawkeye and Trapper teeing-off from the upper chopper pad; to the last shot of Hawkeye reading BJ's "goodbye" left on that same spot of the chopper pad, there has not been one second that has failed to make me laugh, cry, or touch my heart. This show will probably never be matched for all those reasons and a thousand more reasons that I could never possibly express in mere words. ❤
Would've been great to see the entire cast together on this zoom meeting, but unfortunately many have passed. Larry, David, Harry... r.i.p.
Love them all 😘💖 from Sydney Australia
Grew up watching it on tv in Australia, then of course watching the re runs . Eventually buying a box set, of DVD’s which contains every episode from every season. I admit that certain that I understand more of the jokes, and the serious undertones that were in certain episodes, as an adult. Also the episodes I would call my favourites now have certainly changed as I have gotten older.
I forget how long ago MASH was on TV. Seeing these actors now reminds me of how I have changed as well. They appear do be wonderful and grateful people.
My favorite characters
It's so nice to see the three of you together again. To see the whole cast would be a dream come true.
In fact I felt like a trip back to my childhood and am watching the pilot episode of M*A*S*H that aired in 1972. I turned 12 that year.
Where do we watch full episodes?
It's wonderful to see them " together. " It's a truism that we don't value what we have until it's taken away. The pandemic separated people's social interaction. One of the most harmful effects of the disease. Hugging each other is a luxury now.
"Meatball surgery" - Hawkeye M*A*S*H
I first started watching Mash when I was about three. Of course at that age I had no idea what was going on, other than it featured characters in the army.
If Mike sees this, can you get someone to release all the seasons of Providence on DVD? Please! Lol
wonderful 🤩💖👋🏻🇦🇺
Happy 85th Birthday Mike Farrell
I would have loved to have seen a full Mash reunion show with all the cast members. unfortunately quite a few of the cast are gone now.
I recently started re-watching MASH. I had forgotten how much shouting there was in almost every episode.
I still like the show, just an observation. All in the Family had a lot of shouting too. Must have been the "thing" back then.
Wow. I was a teenager when MASH was first aired. Loretta looks as beautiful now as she did then.
If I’m honest it’s just as weird seeing Mike Now with a beard and moustache as it was when BJ grew a moustache
It's sad seeing everyone get old
Loretta Swit nearly had another hit show-she starred in the pilot to Cagney and Lacy-but alas she was replaced by Sharon Gless in the ensueing tv show.
Please shoot a MASH reunion where you all come back together as you are now !!!!! Hawkeye , BJ and Margaret.
Great seeing the gang again
