Hi Tina, WOW, this is the third video I have watched of yours! You do an excellent job of teaching. I saw Rachel Tessman do this card first and have made a couple. I am going to share your video because it demonstrates just how easy this card is. I had used the Magnolia paper. Mine is a bit different from yours. I placed my sentiment down before adding the center piece. A bit easier than trying to slip it under. I love your original design with the oval and that particular DSP. So vintage and romantic. Great job ALL around. Thanks so very much for sharing.
Both cards are just gorgeous. When I see a video with your name I know it is going to be something awesome . You are so talented. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us.
This is a FAB-U-LOUS video. I have this suite and I'm definitely going to be making this card. I'm so happy you are a demonstrator from CANADA....I am from Alberta. Cheers!
I have made lots of these in the past. Such a great card. If I'm not using a white card base, I always add either white card to either side (inside) or on the back for a personal message. Love that magnolia!
Brilliant idea, Marsha. Now that I've FINALLY tried making things shutter cards, I'm hooked. They sure do pack a big "WOW" factor, don't they? This card design always intimidated me for some reason, but they are really easy to do! And yes, the Magnolia set is spectacular!
@@Serenestamper the magnolia Memories and More cards look amazing, too. I know I'm going to get several packs for my daughter's upcoming wedding! I'm thinking a mini album, thank you cards, and so much more. I hope you make more cards using this gorgeous paper and maybe even the M&M cards. Thanks, Tina, for all you do!
Thank you sooooo much. Your video is exactly what I wanted as I haven't ever made a shutter card. Sandi McIver is awesome; her tips and techniques along with yours, make me a better papercrafter everyday! :-) I love, love your cards.
Absolutely stunning Tina! You have really rocked this gorgeous stamp set, darlin'! LOVE IT!!! Your video was a joy to view and easy to follow ... thank you so so much! 😘
Oh my goodness !!!!! This suite is stunning and I can't wait to order... of course being from Mississippi this is our state flower, !! Thanks for your tutorial !!!
This is a beautiful card!!! you did a great job on your video. I just love the card. I make one but it took me three tries to get it right...LOL but I love it...Thank you so much for sharing it with us!!!!!
@@Serenestamper This card turns out so beautiful, I love making it, Just sent one to my best stamping buddy, can't wait for her to get it and let me know what she thinks of it!!! Had so much fun making this card..thanks again for the great Idea!!!!
Both cards are beautiful! Love the sliding design, unique! The belly band is a nice touch. Very versatile. The DSP paper and that gorgeous magnolia stamp are so pretty! Thanks for sharing! Great ideas!
Gorgeous, gorgeous cards! I love that Good Morning Magnolia suite. I must case that card. You never disappoint. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas and projects.
Tina, I don't remember ever seeing a shutter card only gate fold cards. These turned out so pretty! Where did you get your art skills from, school or self taught? I learn so much from you each time I watch one of your videos!!! Thank you for this video, my mind is going with different ideas but yours are gorgeous!
I have watched this twice and trying to make notes on dimensions . Is there a printed sheet with the dimensions? I sure have enjoyed your video. Thank you for your video. Beautiful.
Hi Shirley - the measurements are on my blog here: www.serenestamper.com/detailed-with-love-and-good-morning/ I'm not sure what happened to the PDF tutorial and I'll try to retrieve it, The measurements should help you though.
I followed along as you made the card, and everything was going great until I had to put the sentiment on the inside. I used glue, and before I could get my sentiment in place, it was stuck fast and hard. I may stamp another image and try again, because that is the only problem with it. Well, my front flaps overlap, so I must have cut wrong, but it looks great. Thanks for the tutorial. BTW, I made a Christmas card as I don't have the magnolia set yet.
Hi Brenda. What kind of glue did you use? I used the Tombow Liquid Glue, which allowed me a bit of 'play time' to position the sentiment. Using this design for a Christmas card would be stunning!!! xx
Bonjour Tina, J ai toujours un réel plaisir à découvrir vos réalisations. J aimerai la réaliser mais mon soucis et de convertir les winch en cm. Avez vous une astuce à me communiquer. Merci de votre aide amicalement Marylene
Hi Marylene! I just want to make sure I understand your question..you want to convert inches to cm? If so, just type in google "Convert inches to cm" and you'll see a conversion chart. Let me know if that helps. xx Je veux juste m'assurer de bien comprendre votre question. Vous voulez convertir des pouces en cm? Si oui, tapez simplement dans Google "Convertir les pouces en cm" et vous verrez un tableau de conversion. Faites-moi savoir si cela vous a été utile. xx
Loved the idea of your shimmer ink sprayer so bought all necessary products this week. Do you fill the Stampin Sprayer almost full with the 70% alcohol and the leave just enough room for a few drops of the glimmer paint ? Just wondering about the concentration of paint to alcohol? Thanks Tina.
Hi Cecilia. Add a few drops of the champagne shimmer mist, give it a good shake, then sprtiz on dark card stock to really see how much shimmer there is. Add a few more drops of paint until you get the amount of shimmer you want. Let me know how you make out with it!
Hi Paula. All of the products I use are from Stampin' Up! Some of the papers I used in this video are no longer available. You can see our products here: www.stampinup.com/ECWeb/default.aspx?dbwsdemoid=1000037
That is so COOL! I will definitely give this a try. So... not as easy as it looks. My first attempt landed in the trash. My second attempt looks a bit better. I will keep on trying because it is such a cool look.
Hiya scrappy - my first attempt wasn't perfect either. Once I made one card though I had a better understanding of the mechanics of it. Hope your next attempts at this card design work better for you. They're so neat and everyone just loves them (and the WOW factor!). xx
STUNNING! Absolutely gorgeous and the Magnolia Suite is on my list now :) Is the DSP at the beginning of the video from the Magnolia papers as well? I have not been able to see all the papers that will come in the suite...haven't found a video that shows them yet LOL
Hi there! Yes, the DSP is from the Magnolia Lane suite and it's also called "Magnolia Lane". It is GORGEOUS. Stampin' Up! outdid themselves with ALL of the new designer series papers coming out next month. They're all FABULOUS!
Hi Elaine. Sorry to hear this! Not sure what size circle punch you used to put the message inside the card. Also, the liquid glue makes a difference in the 'play' time to properly position it before it dries in place. Another option would be to stamp and glue your sentiment/message before putting the two side pieces on (the moveable bits) - I've never done it that way, but you could give it try. Hope these ideas help!

I'm not sure but I think it's 80-90#
I went for details and they say it’s not available. Love this card and sure got to figure it all up for first one.
Quite lovely!

Hello Elaine. I used the 2" circle punch. www.serenestamper.com/2019/05/detailed-with-love-and-good-morning.html
Hi Tina I had a tough job making this,.Did not seem to have room to put my message in card.Tried moving cardstock up and down .no luck.Help😕

I have a question for you. Is there a reason why you only use 70% rubbing alcohol with your shimmer paint. Is it better than 92% rubbing alcohol?
Hi Sherrie. I can't recall if I used a lower or higher percentage once, and the drops of paint solidified. The 70% has always worked perfectly for me.
I just copied this. This card is gorgeous!
Thanks so much Naomi!
Awesome
