I'm excited to share a new video with you today! The technique that I demonstrate for you uses heat embossing and the emboss resist technique in a way you may not have seen before and the end result is super cool! The stamp set that I feature in the video is "Snow Front", which is in our new Holiday Catalogue and it's one of my very favourite new sets! I also used the new "Christmas is Gleaming" set on today's card, for the sentiment

That Snow Front stamp set is one that I passed by when I placed my pre order, but the more I see it used, the more I think I need it! Totally unrelated, but we just arrived home yesterday from a short vacation in NS...I don't know why we haven't traveled more within our own country...what a beautiful province you live in!!

I'm glad to hear you're OK after the storm. When I saw the news; I was praying for you. Lovely cards. I've never seen this technique before. I don't consider it a Christmas card unless it has glitter. I also have that same clock, but sadly it's on it's last legs. I will be getting another one, as I love it so much. When I had pets, they thought there were really birds in the house.
Glad you survived Dorian with minimal problems. I am in Ontario but have family in NL, NB and NS. All are ok too. I did hear the clock and I know the sound because a friend had one. Great timing! The glitter was the perfect call

Thank you for showing the technique in “real time” so to speak. I often think of ideas and add it after the ideal point like what you did with the ribbon and glitter, which really was the perfect finishing touches.

If you wanted to put your sticky ink down in an oval you could use fun foam with an oval die and use it as a stamp. Or really only shape you wanted. Love the card.

What a LOVELY CREATION with the “Snow Front” set, Tina! Love the “red” birds n’ red accents w/card layer n’ ribbon, too! Great color palette for the whole scene! Just a tiny tip, if you cut a piece of tear tape about 1/2" and put it on the back center of your bow, it really holds it more firmly into place.

I love what you did with the Snow Front set! Personally, I think the card was perfect without the background stamp but it does add an interesting dimension. It brings me out kind of, from my depression of having stage IV cancer. I didn't say what kind of cancer because by now, it's not just my breast. It's my bones in my hip, humerus (in my shoulder), and in my back in several places. Gosh, it seems unbelievable when I type it in like this! 👎
