- what's the difference between a hobby, a passion and a purpose?
hobby: it is something that you do in your leisure time to kill boredom and the only purpose of a hobby is to pass time, relax and have fun.
example: watching tv when bored.
passion: it is an intense emotion and a very strong feeling about someone or something. if you are truly passionate about something then that something will not let you eat or sleep properly because it is always in your heart and soul.
example: Leonardo DiCaprio does films without expecting any benefits {awards} from the movies. he absolutely lov

Hobbies are activities that you do.
Interest is what you like
Ex: you are "interested" in filmmaking but it's not your "hobby" because you don't do it as an activity
Ex2: I'm "interested" in cricket but that's not my "hobby"
In interviews when they ask interests, they expect you to give answers like: I'm interested in science n technology, drama etc
When they ask hobbies you can go with your activities: reading books, watching movies, acting, guitar etc..
