This game is really great. Bots perform extremely realistic, almost eliminating the point in playing vs real humans.
-Bots will ignore you when you ping a hero. Just like humans.
-Bots will steal your farm. Just like humans.
-Bots will 1v5 the enemy. Just like humans.
-Bots will ignore enemies taking Roshan. Just like humans.

The main difference between the LoL and dota 2 trailers is that the dota 2 trailer actually resembles gameplay. The LoL cinematic literally shows nothing but "watch this shitty-ass character, now watch this one."

Late December, 2010. I was a junior in HS who played a lot of Dota 1, all my friends play it, and all the boys in my HS play it. We were all addicted it. Come early 2011 and this trailer came out, imagine the goosebumps we all felt when we saw this masterpiece. That was truly a wonderful experience.

to all furious commenters and debaters, here is a quick explanation
dota 1 came first, league then came along with similar game mechanics and champs/heroes.
it got popular, and then dota 2 was made, which essentially refreshes dota 1's graphics/heroes and made some various changes.
They are 2 different games. Both have their differences and similarities. But they are still two separate games within the same genre, like COD and Battlefield and Counter-Strike.
Hopefully this settles a couple of fan disputes.

I love that this game is not just about kills. Dota is made for teamwork, just alone fighting 5 people is impossible unless you have 6 divine rapiers. But even in order to get that you need your teammates to help you get those items. This is why i love dota

Just imagine if the developers of HoS, LoL, and DotA/DotA2 teamed up and made one super moba. It would have the incredible depth, challenge, and graphics of Dota2, the fun, fast paced action if LoL, and the creative ideas of HoS like the map ideas and the npcs that join your team when you defeat them. Like seriously to me that would be the greatest thing ever.

All we need is short lore films for each hero in animations just like the trailers. Or a series called DotA where the radiants and dire fight, and you get to see each heroes lore, with 5 main protagonists, 2 supports 1 core 1 tank and 1 carry. And if the hero learns a new abilities or taunt or anything then you get it in the game that day as a patch or an update. And there could be Easter eggs in the game of the show. DotA is gonna be real big and have its own universe if Valve spends the money they have from dotA on DOTA .
We could also use a dota campaign...if valve made a single-player or co-op campaign as a buyable (or better yet free) expansion to multiplayer dota, I'm sure it'd sell like hotcakes. I mean, they already made two pretty fun training levels with custom maps already; they could easily take it to the next level.
KaaneDragonShinobi I think just a dota campaign containing more teaching episodes. 2 episodes was not enough and I had to learn everything the hard way as did most people.
Daniel Marino-Austin The problem is that dota 2 is too complex to make a tutorial. There are so many situations and heroes you cannot make a tutorial about each one. You should have a tutorial about warding, dewarding, all items, all heroes one by one, every role, how to initiate, how to push, how to gank, how to teamfight, how to last hit, ho to lane control and pull, how to rune control, how to offlane... This would be like 2 months tutorial before you get to play the actual game!
Well anything vast, detailed and deep has books written about it. Dota is one of those things and I think it would better to have more tutorials than less. When people start to play ranked for the first time they are thrown into the deep end with a community that can be impatient and inhospitable and that can drive people away simply because they may be making very basic mistakes.
And here we have now, seem different from lore though😅

after so many years of playing DOTA . it makes me cry
I miss year 2012. It was near end september when I began with this game. Morning was outside full of fog, evening cold,back from work sitting on chair drinking coffee and playing with sniper where shrapnel did damage to towers. Then on halloween there was only one custom game where everyone played it.. Dude it was a really great time what I miss now :(
