Took my 17 year old great niece to see them at the Houston Toyota Center. She really liked them. Actually also took her to see Paul Simon, Def Leppard & Journey and Little River Band. She was pleasantly surprised that she had heard some of their songs. The new generations need more music like this.

Jeff Lynne's ELO is one of the very, very few bands sounding better live than on their records. They are this good. In the Summer of 2019, Forbes Magazine called Jeff Lynne's ELO "The Best Live Classic Rock Band In The World Still Touring". After seeing their shows in 2016, 2018 and 2019, I totally agree.
I grew up hearing this song, and have owned the soundtrack at least three times over. The vinyl is a must have - the sides are labeled ELO and ONJ instead of A/B or 1/2. Excellent choice. And yeah, I spent the whole song feeling overwhelming nostalgia for better times. I probably needed this. Thank you.

I was lucky enough to have seen them live a few times. Their live show was one of the best sounding shows I've ever been to. And the electricity was contagious. Every one in the crowd got up and danced. You couldn't help it.

Flew in to see Jeff Lynn in Anaheim, CA in June of last year. It was the opening event/location for his North American tour. Fifth row and it was the most professional, smooth, well run production I have ever seen! One doesn't fully grasp the genius of Jeff Lynn till you see his body of work and hear it live. It is so great to see another generation able to watch and grow -it's how music should be. Thanks for reviewing them.

Oh yeah. I saw Xanadu on an airplane when I was 10. Probably 100 times since then. I think it's available free on Tubi right now.
ELO Drum Dreams was my favorite in the movie. When Xanadu opens with Gene Kelly skating. Also a great song to actually skate to.
