- It has been a while since the Chinese came out with a high end spinning reel with somewhat original design. Absolutely love how the fishing industry is evolving, leaving us consumers with varieties and benefits from healthy competitions. Yeah the carbonlite is a well made reel. I strongly recommend you buy the daiwa fuego or legalis on Aliexpress, there's the biggest sale of the year on November 11 in 3 days. Amazing discounts. Daiwa has now released the 3rd generation of LT making that white daiwa a little outdated
so the anti back how is going on, is it a quality issue? i dont think it is a quality control issue, seems is a diesign bug. , i am thinking this reel or a daiwa caldia Lt2500. Seems daiwa is more reliable.
Hey Chan, it'd be really embarrassing if it's designed this way and when I contacted Haibo they said it's not a problem so I'm disappointed. This reel has the potential to be great. I teared down the reel and it has unique complicated design like a Shimano Stradic except it doesn't have the worm oscillation gear. Absolutely get the Caldia LT 2500! Daiwa has much better quality control.
After watching ur vid it come to my mind that most chinese made reel are 5.2.1 ratio similar to my kastking zephyr 500 and 1000
and I used it only for saltwater fishing.
Yes at least the Haibo spinning reels don't have high speed. It's actually quite common to have 6.2:1in some other Chinese brands. Piscifun is one of them.

I don't have open water anymore where I am in Canada, everything is frozen haha. I can probably out it on an ice rod to try out the drag. Casting and retrieving will have to wait till next spring. I can already predict that with the rotar backplay defect on my reel, it's gonna not gonna be a super pleasant experience on the water...

@@TTangOutdoorslow-end Daiwa and Shimano are made in Vietnam and Malaysia, and it's not a compliment at all, because mid range Daiwa reels start to be made in China, what means...China isn't the cheapest place to make anything.
iPhones, by the way, are made in China too...why? Because it's cheaper, as simple as it can be.
That's my whole point.... Most Daiwa bait casters are made in Thailand and spinning reels in Vietnam. China doesn't even make a big portion of Daiwa reels. Other than Japan, I'm not saying which country is second best in manufacturing shimano and daiwa... the stereotype of made in China can't stay forever, look at how quickly CDM rods and reels are advancing, especially in the BFS world.... CDM has dominated in no time
