- How much roam does a role do when it has this player instruction? I take a RPM and stick him in different parts and there are some notable differences when a player is given this PI. I also explain what attributes are needed for a player who is given this instruction.

If I could make a suggestion, maybe do a video on crossing. I am not just talking about low/mixed/whipped/floating that don't seem to make a difference at all, but how about the PPI to cross near/far post, centre or to the TM. I never really know when any of them make sense or make a difference to begin with. Does near/far post interfere with underlaps? Nobody knows. Well, hopefully you do :D

Thanks for this video, this confirms my suspicion, roaming instruction doesn't really make players go all around the pitch, disappointing...
Now, what does the be more expressive and disciplined team instruction actually do?
Be more expressive gives your attacking players more creative freedom to do their own thing. Since the tactical overhaul in FM2019 the instruction also includes more roaming for these attacking players.
Does roam from position work on a positional play tactic? I’m thinking about using it alongside be more disciplined but I don’t want to compromise my shape
How important is flair for roam from position? Speaking for an advanced playmaker on attack from central midfield.

So what of an attacker (AF or DLF) with roam from position PI? Cos I always have my forward with that PI
While you can remember he may not always be in a good attacking position when you need him to be, so you need to account for that in your system. I had a 4231 which had all 4 roles with roam and it worked well because all 4 players had great physical and mental attributes.
