- Nong-O Gaiyanghadao is a Muay Thai fighter currently signed to ONE Championship and is the reigning ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion.
After a brief retirement in 2015, when he became an instructor at Evolve MMA in Singapore, he made a comeback in 2018 trailblazing his was to the ONE title. He is considered to be one of the best pound for pound Muay Thai fighters in the world. He is a seven-division Muay Thai champion, having won 2 Thailand titles, a Rajadamnern Stadium title, 3 Lumpinee titles, and a ONE Championship title.
He has fought legends like Saenchai, Singdam, Petchboonchu, Fabio Pinca, Sam-A, Yodwicha, Ponsanae, Thongchai, Jomthong. A who's who in Muay Thai. In this video we will take a look at one of the foundations of his style; the kicking game.
I love difference in speed, rhythm and body language between Nong-O when he is just in his stance and when he is attacking, his slow and gentle head swaying and loose body makes his ferocious attacks come out of no where and startles the opponent.
