    Oh my goodness, this is the second year for TG? I'm so happy to hear that her first year was a little slow for you too, because mine is also much smaller than I thought it would be in its first summer. Can't wait til next year!

    So beautiful as all of your roses are! If you don’t mind me asking, why are most of your roses in pots rather than in the ground? Please continue to share your amazing roses!

    • @backyardparadise2334

      I wish I can plant them into the ground as well. But my backyard is like a giant swamp. The soils are all muddy and standing water thru out the entire winter and even now. If I plant my rose into the ground, they will sure not going to survive the super wet winter here. Pot or raised bed is the only way I can plant roses in my crappy yard. I used to plant 2 peach trees in my yard and the entire tree just "floated" after some heavy storm and sure enough they die few months after I planted them.

      @@backyardparadise2334 why dont you get your soil changed from the top few feet with cheap ground filling soil?
      Here in India ,I got my top soil filled with $3.5 per tractor.Then i planted all my 20 roses.
      What is the price there?

    Your Teasing Georgia is really teasing me ....this rose is top of my list. Does it have perfume? How many holes do you have to drill for this pot. I love the toy bucket for your rose...so cute and creative

    • @backyardparadise2334
      @backyardparadise2334  3 роки тому

      It has some tea fragrance but really not much. I drilled about 8 holes at the bottom. The roots can grow out of the holes and reach the soil under it. My roses grow sooooo big when I planted them in toy bucket. It is unreal

    Teasing Georgia is so gorgeous! Do you think it will do well in a bright spot with only 3 hours of direct sunlight? Or do you have any recommendation for climbing roses that can tolerate some shade?

    • @backyardparadise2334
      @backyardparadise2334  3 роки тому +1

      Teasing Georgia needs full sun to bloom well. All roses need minimum of 4 hours of sun to bloom. Barock and William Morris can tolerate some shade and still bloom well

    I can't wait. Mine is coming as potted this month. Will it grow really big the first summer? I'm not going to plant it in ground until fall its dormant time but I'm not sure how big of the pot I should place her.
