I feel like there’s gonna be a reveal about her at some point. Furina seems like a rather silly and unserious character, but she is still an archon. An immortal being of unfathomable elemental power and all the archons we’ve seen till now have done something impressive. Literally responsible for reshaping the geography of their territories on a whim. I can only imagine what the hydro archon can do.
She already doing something like the Oatrice she makes and she is also investigating on the prophecy Im sure we gonna get Her Story later on.

Dude, Furina being silly goofy like this is absolutely a coping mechanism for her to forget the fact that the prophecy says that the people of Fontaine will dissolve into the water and she will be left alone. Neuvillette says that she takes the prophecy really seriously, so deep down she's probably terrified that it'll actually come true and she'll have no one left and is just acting like this to feel like she's in control of things
They aren't archons if they don't have tragic backstories, Liyue's Oceanid also mentioned that the previous archon was assassinated, so that probably has a relation to this?

@@saif-gv6glYou got the words mixed up. Rhodeia (Oceanid of Qingce) did not say that the previous archon was killed, she accused the traveler of being a murderer from her homeland who came to assasinate her.
The previous hydro archon died because of the abyss.

Man i love seeing how people had some idea of how Furina was only acting like this for a part. After the archon quest, seeing what everyone suspected and such in addition to the comparison between the public opinion on Furina for both in game characters AND players is amazing. She really had us all fooled. An amazing actress, all the way to the end. Even if the people of Fontaine dont know what she did for them, we do and we love her for it ❤
When I first saw nahida, I thought she was probably the most childish of the Archons, but it wasn't until furina appeared that everything changed.
This might be an unpopular opinion but before Furina I actually saw Ei as the most childish Archon
Nahida isn't childish at all in my opinion. I mean, the only childish thing about her is her appearance and her child-like curiosity due to her being the youngest and least experienced.
Next is Natlan, and i bet that there will be even more childish one... Or snezhnaya.
