Neuvillette somehow manages to be her biggest fan AND the one thing keeping her shenanigans to a reasonable level.
neuvelitte's dialogue in the archon quest ("Youre not as superficial as you make yourself appear" or smth) confirms to me that despite him not knowing the full story, he was the only one close to actually understanding that she's going through smth bad, which is why he tolerates a lot of her shenanigans

The plan was for him to care about humanity and he does but man's clearly got a few favorites here and there haha
I dont think her shenanigans go completely beyond, as she had yet to keep her archon status proper in the eyes of the people or she would really just look like a clown. She even had to handle overall matters of trials and kept tabs on the prophecy.
She did well in her duties and even as a masquerade, considering she wasnt even an archon in the first place.
A wholesome video for Furina? She definitely deserves it along with lots of headpats.

I'm pretty sure author didn't know about the story in 4.2 making this video because in the start Furina in the Neuvillette's office like when she was the archon, but she already don't stay there after the story ends.

I meant Focalors was the one who invited Neuvillette to come to Fontaine and be their judge but i think it's safe to say that it is Furina who is guiding him to live in the human society this entire time. In both his story quest and the teaser, we can clearly hear a much softer and soothing voice of Furina instead of the deep yet mature voice of Focalors. She clearly was there with him from the very beginning while Focalors was busy preparing for her plans in the machine. I bet Focalors already knew Furina humanity can potentially help Neuvillette fit in and understand human emotions throughout his time in Fontaine, which is why she decided to leave all of that to Furina and trusted that "herself" can fulfill her duty as the "Hydro Archon" while gilding him at the same time.

Furina has gone through many sad things over the past 500 years, she deserves to receive love from everyone.
She didn't go through anything. Its Focalors who went through it. Correct me if I am wrong, Furina didn't have Focalors memory, she was created as a human with fresh start and memories by Focalors so she can enjoy her human life. It was Focalors who suffered, not Furina.

@@seeker777 The "fresh start" happened at the _beginning_ of the 500 years, not the end. Have you not done her story quest? She's clearly still going through some stuff during it. Also I've only now realized that Focalors was basically just twiddling her thumbs waiting to die for five centuries which is a weird thought?

@@seeker777 i can't even begin by saying how wrong you are. Furina did not have to endure 500 years as human having to experience people around her come and go for you to be calling her garbage. Focalors literally tricked furina into having to pretend as an archon for 500 years, making sure people don't doubt her as an archon. If I may repeat my point again; furina is a "Human" that is immortal. She has a fragile human mind and having to be an actress for 500 years is very damaging to her. Furina also tried her best in researching about the prophecy to save her "people".

You're so right. Honestly thought Neuvillette was going to flood Fontaine after Focalors died
That was pretty much Focalor's plan, to get him accustomed to humans and sympathize with them in order for him to protect them
He technically knew that if he killed Furina and had his hydro powers he could save Fontaine, but he didn't want to, he doesn't even think about it as an option.
@@MintMilky Killing Furina wouldn't have done anything to save Fontaine, though? Even if she had the Archon's powers (and she did not), killing an Archon only means the title goes to another (possibly chosen by Celestia if the Archon doesn't have a designated successor?). For Neuvillette to regain his full authority, Focalors plan to build a giant god-killer device powered by faith for 500 years was a necessary step. Anything less wouldn't have destroyed the Archon title, only the bearer.

Furina has been doing all kinds of things since then to make everyone laugh as well as satisfy her fun-loving nature, but hidden behind it is a sad story about her somewhat pitiful life, which makes us have a different view of Furina and makes us want to love her more as if to comfort her after what she herself had to go through, She truly deserves it.

Neuvillette, Focalors, and Furina have similar aspects, qualities and characteristics of Seele, both light (original, eventually Herrscher of Rebirth) and dark (Veliona, stigmata awaken within Seele).
