Beautiful Harley the sound alone is worth 20k. I've got my 57 FLH panhead on road this year took 5 years of work, sat over 40 years in my dad's building, done all the work myself and love it.

I guess you haven't seen the 2024 Road Glide CVO nor have you seen any of the bag of Racing League stuff they're doing lap times faster than the 600 Super Sports and only a second less than the 1000s it's a whole new generation it would have been easier just erase your comment but didn't want to leave you in the dark

@@KaplanCycles that engine is a 2nd generation pan that the bottom end was as modern as an Evo and just as tough as the early shovel heads with a generator.. simply cause they were the same bottom end as the early shovel ... Here's the deal early pans are hand fitted roller pin bearings on both sides of the crank .But the later models the primary side main bearings are a double set of timken tapered caged pin roller bearings similar to automotive front wheel bearings ... Total Harley overkill for a 1200 cc v twin ..before I start let's get one thing straight .. you are never allow to touch this Harley you just got.. it belongs to Rockville motorcycle museum,. I seen you twisting on it.. it don't smoke it don't rattle no unusual engine sounds the primary doesn't leak gallons of oil.. it don't do nothing wrong and I want to see that stays that way so stay off of it hear me ? Hehehe..
But you can take a 74 inch pan with the modern Timken main bearing and turn it into a fire breathing 86 cubic inch CCI Big Bore Stroker mountain motor Evo eater that will pull your house off it's foundation while eating its own rear wheel bearings throwing sparks from the rear brake hub then bursting into flames as the rear wheel trys to weld its self to the rear axl causing the brand new clutch to slip all the new plates turning the outer primary cover red hot as the clutch actually caught on fire..... It's a long story back in 85 I work for Jack Pittman who ran a restoration shop called the shop.. it was Keith Smith one of his old customers who had deep pockets and wanted us to build this evo killer ... It was CCI custom chrome Incorporated motorcycle accessories first big bore stroker kit and Jack decided to use it and his old kingpin friend Keith Smith as a guinea pig.. so I could not wait is this new kit was also dynamically balanced as a matched set ready for the RPM test... Smith took the engine out of the frame himself ... We build it up and give it back.... Few days later Smith comes back in the shop... Give Jack a big lecture like he's giving a eulogy on his bike .. Jack says you mean your damn engine is locked up... He says no no no no no no.. I just haven't got enough lead in my ass to turn it over.. Jack was in a wheelchair losing an argument with a Street lamps that wouldn't get out of his way one night,. At that moment Jack and Keith both stared at me... And I'm like no not a chance no way Jack says you want to eat tomorrow don't you. This ain't Fair Jack, Keith brings his old school LED sled raked out hard tail raked out wide glide homemade two into one 5 inch diameter header collector diesel stack turnout laker pipe , with the biggest damn S&S carburetor i ever seen my life.. this as big as you see on today's nitro Harleys that has a velocity stack big as your fis . Hip hop and it cracked and it cracked and it popped.. worst I got was a sprained ankle Jack said call night I'll call S&S in the morning. I could not believe it... S&S new the carburetor numbers on his old piece of s***and what CCI kit it was..then S&S told us the pilot jet number plus the main jet number, fired off first kick and said potato potato. Keith is off to the races at out of our hair.. wrong he's back in a couple of days.. he tells Jack I've got a hell of a drag on the engine sounds like something pulling it down real bad... And he's ridden this thing to the shop.. Jack says run it up the alley so we can take a look... that's when she ate the rear hub ripping out the bearings setting the brake shoes on fire smoking at brand new clutch with the truck stack exhaust glowing red throwing a two foot blue flame of a gigantic rosebud acetylene torch setting the Weeds on fire in the alley....we yelled at Keith that's a full pull shut her down
you wanna know why you canNOT find anymore AMF Harley's... The japs got them all along with the moon eyes franchise car show and all the hot rods to go with it seems there's this Japanese motorcycle club with a 175,000 members all ride AMF's
      Strange people Japanese

It's been sitting in the guy's garage for about a good while and the first owner left it. Sit in the garage now. I'm with the third order of the Quad.
