Thank you !!!! What an amazing testament to my father… This bike was his baby… I know he’s smiling! And I hope your kids love riding in that side car .. my dad used to pick me up from school in it, one of my best memories..
Thank you so much for watching!! You can tell how much he loved that machine. We are honored to have it here at WTT and proud to help keep his memory alive!
Its great to see your sweet young daughter loving those old bikes. Im sure she may well be so knowledgeable and good with wrenching with you just as you took in your expertees with Dale as a wee laddie.
Great video, i just got my dad's 57 FLH panhead on the road this year, sat for over 40 years, i finally got it home and have worked on it 5 years by myself. A lot of work but i think it would make him proud .I've loved every bolt I've turned.
I’ve NEVER seen such a fastooned motorcycle. Accessories on accessories ! You’ve got accessories I never seen before. Or could even imagined. BUMPERS on BOTH fenders ! The lighting ! Mirror ‘covers’ ! On and on ! Thank you for sharing this with us! I could look at this bike for hours. Amazing !!!
Matt, awesome job on being a dad! She won't remember most of the motorcycle stuff, but she will remember that she is important to you. And she is learning how to be treated by a man. Set the bar high; you won't ever regret your bonding times. They pass quickly. Well done, my friend.
I grew up around these old bikes with my grandfather pan heads knuckle heads shoved heads evos m-8s I’ve been around all of it since I was born but I will tell you this nothing beats the the sound of a pan head with fish tails I absolutely love your videos and thank you for bringing the childhood mementos back
I hope years down the road we see these kids with the same excitement as Matt and Dale doing videos to get my grandchildren as excited as I am watching these videos
I love your relationship with your daughter. Best thing a dad can do with his "little girl?" Make her a part of your life. Her memories of you will be treasures she'll carry through her life. And, I can see she loves hanging out with her daddy. That's beautiful!
My daughter worked with me at 8,9,10, years old in my gunsmith shop she is amazing. Reminded me of her your doing a great thing teaching her. Only draw back is when she went on her first date guys pickup broke down she fixed a battery cable and off they went he was so embarrassed he never came back for another date. Live your videos.
71 years old I've been watching you guys for a long time I love how down to earth you guys are the amount of respect you show each other I appreciate every video I see thank you very much and keep up the good work God bless you and yours and keep you safe wolf 🐺 Lynn Massachusetts
Man I love these videos and bike scores. Matt, I wasn't kidding the past two years when I talked to you at the museum that working there would be my dream job. I don't care what it pays. It's all about the history for me.
The 55 is awesome and is in its original state. The 14 and the history lessons learning about the upgrades they did over the years is great information to hear. The biggest and best part of this video is having the little one with you on putting her back together, and learning to work with her hands. Nothing better than that brother. keep teaching them all the knowledge that has been passed to you to them and I bet they love every minute of it. I know we get caught up in the hustle of life, but you are probably seeing yourself when you were younger doing the same with your dad. Praises to you. Just simply awsome.
I love your knowledge of Harley's, your daughter working on motors reminds me of taking apart motors when I was her age, I'm riding a '019 Road King ,have ridin' over a million miles, but the KING is turn key 64,500 miles so far
Awesome video having your daughter helping in the shop. Can't wait to see her in 10 years riding and working on the bike's. Wheels through time is my favorite u tube channel .thanks for the enjoyment.
These are brothers... I wish I was surrounded by people like them, I would have been happier, more educated, more useful... God bless y'all I can't wait to see the WTT museum in person!
Dude, seriously, you are amazing to watch. I'm 57 y.o. and would love to sit and be tutored by you...for a long time. Just when I think I know something about motorcycles, i watch you and learn exactly what I DON'T know. I'm in awe. Cute assistant too
The 1914, I kept waiting for you to say, "we're gonna get this running today!" And I can't leave without saying what a beautiful daughter you have and what a great dad you are. Let her help, mentioning her gift. Keep up the goid work.
What an AMAZING video. The way you interacted with your daughter had me cutting onions! I learned, I laughed,I cried. I even cheered out loud when it fired up and you took it for its revival cruise. Such an awesome channel. Can't wait to come visit when I'm out that way! Keep up the great work fellas!
That's a beautiful side car Harley!!! I'm a trike guy and love riding bikes like these. Can't believe it started up that fast!!!! Excellent addition to the museum Matt!!!
Nothing like the first start up, and then running, of something that has been setting up for years. It's difficult to describe the feeling. Congratulations. Thanks. Made my early Sunday morning.
You're one of the luckiest people ever. Fortunately have the building, the bikes etc but to have your family to help and share in your fortune is priceless. Your little girl looks like shes actually interested in your business. That's rare and beautiful
Holy cow, those almost impossible tanks to find were sitting on that shelf for twenty years or more, waiting for that bike to show up. It’s mind boggling. What an amazing piece of history.
I'm not a Harley guy but I appreciate and admire the passion and enthusiasm Matt and his staff have for saving these old machines. I've been to the museum and it was an experience of a lifetime. Get there if you haven't already. Thanks Matt and Wheels through Time museum!
I know you appreciate your luck in working with Americas treasures and continuing with your father's passion. You are like a hurricane when you get a new one to bring back to life. The crowd stands and tries to keep up with you. The greatest treasures you will ever have is your children. Teach them your passion and spend every minute you can with them. Let them have their own dreams. They grow up fast and poof you are left with the memories. Keep in mind the boys will be knocking on the door sooner than you will be ready for.
My goodness, what a couple of very, very cool bikes!! And a well-presented historically significant educational motorcycle video.....well, that and a darn good documentary on ADHD.....LOVE YOU, MAN!!!
Once again Matt, I just can't thank you and the crew. Enough for showing and sharing. The knowledge and craftsmanship. On resurrecting and bringing back to life. The greatest American motorcycles of all. Your enthusiasm is infectious. Bless the whole WTT family.🫡
My wife and I had the privilege of witnessing one of Evie's Tours this past Saturday. Its great to see the next generation will still have the passion! Amazing museum too btw.
Buzz Kanter, haven't heard that name in a minute! I met him at a J&P Cycles Customer Appreciation Day ( RIP John ), the year American Iron Magazine was there celebrating their Old School Shovel Tour!
The most valuable gift in the Museum, Evelyn! It puts a smile on my face to see your helper, with you ! This little lady, is fascinated working with you! She will be the future Encyclopedia of the Museum! God has blessed you Matt ! God blessed the whole Wheels Through Time Museum Gang ! Happy Holidays to all!
I like it your showing your daughter how to put a old Harley together can’t wit till she is older and helping you help do all this on your you tube with you and chris
What you guys are doing would make a great book of memiors, short stories about each model and tips as for what to look for. Being an Australian, H-D from the early days are rarer than hens teeth. I habe learnt so much just from your vid's. Matt, your mind is worth a million dollars, you Sir are the H-D man. PS: You're Dad is proud of you keeping the dream alive...
Awesome vid ,1955 the yr I was born, all my friends ride Harley s ,and some of them knew Dale personally, live in Benton , Illinois they speak of your dad all the time ,your so lucky to have a father like him and you carrying on his work with your hands ,I'm sure that he is very proud of you , 👍
Cool bike guys! Thanks for teaching about the transmission and showing the inside of one. The 1914 bike is crazy! Thanks for showing those. I thought I saw one in Nashvillle, TN at the car museum but I can't be sure if it was a Harley. I love the internet. I am watching while in Martinique this week.
Thank you INTERNET GODS for bringing us these people into my home and all likewise people hanging around this joint.........Can we have a big CHEERS here WOW!
I could NEVER get tired of seeing this episode. For two reasons... First, I saw the 1955 Panhead change colour from Burnt Orange to Blood Red, at 14:55. Blink and you'll miss it. Second reason being it's wonderful having an attentive and adoring daughter to act as your Apprentice! What a sight to make any Jedi proud! Lol. You're so damn lucky!
You always seem like a little kid on Christmas morning when you get a really rare & limited make Harley, and it's just so much fun watching you & you begin to try & reassemble it. I knew your dad from different bbike runs, swap meets & antique/classic racing meets, you & I have talked a few times as well, but I doubt that you'd remember me. I was just another guy who used to spend from late spring to mid-autumn working for different vendors & bike shops all over the country throughout the season, that was back in the days when a guy could still manage to make a living traveling around on his bike, and working for whoever would hire you for a spell & then head on down the road to the next one......
Now comes the fun part. Making it safe for the kids to ride in the sidecar...checking wires, connections, lights, bolts, nuts, screws, bearings, greasing fittings, tightening spokes, etc...
Am loving how you ever so gently encourage the next generation of enthusiasts and preservers of such magnificent automotive history and love young Evelyn's anticipation and enthusiasm. My favourite chanel bar none! Am pretty sure Poppy's smiling up in heaven🤎
Wow that 55 has just about every accessory available back then very cool when we would see full dressers my dad would call them Milwaukie rattlers the 2 speed hub was interesting is that like a Strumy Archer hub on the English bicycles?
Growing up, my best friend lived next door to a bike shop and they shared a driveway, I remember all of the Harleys going in and out with the reflectors, fringe, tassels, lights, bags, chrome buttons and other trim.
I know you are supposed to be the expert, but as a Mechanic for over 50 years & M1 endorsement for 47 years never start any motor that has been sitting any length of time without removing plugs and lubing the cylinders. A little prevention cannot hurt anything! I Love what You do! GOD Bless & Keep You & Yours!
Hey man, I don’t know if you noticed but at 22:13 a piece went flying out when you were taking apart the gears in the HD 1914 engine. Would just like to inform you as it might be important!
That’s amazing, only someone like Matt could get that running. You couldn’t even bring that to a Harley dealer and get that running.
Awesome!
Your sweet daughter certainly has a real passion for bikes that's like you and your dad Dale back in the day.
Nothing is better than a wheels through time video!
Absolutely 😉
Matt does have the best job in the world ?
Sooo.. exciting!
I second that
There is: two wheels through time videos 😅
Great video, i just got my dad's 57 FLH panhead on the road this year, sat for over 40 years, i finally got it home and have worked on it 5 years by myself. A lot of work but i think it would make him proud .I've loved every bolt I've turned.

I like seeing your daughter trying to be interested. Good for her! Way to go dad! Keep teaching as long as she’s interested. Lots of love there.
AWESOME watching you bring the History to your daughter!!! She did an AWESOME Job! THATS what its ALL abut!!
How the hell do you know so much about bikes from the turn of the 20th century ? You truly blow me away with your knowledge.
Matt, awesome job on being a dad! She won't remember most of the motorcycle stuff, but she will remember that she is important to you. And she is learning how to be treated by a man. Set the bar high; you won't ever regret your bonding times. They pass quickly.
Well done, my friend.

Matt, Loved see you work with your daughter. She definitely enjoyed working with her dad. You’re a lucky man in many ways !
No matter what brand of bike, I love seeing older stuff being brought back to life after a long slumber. It never gets old.
I hope Matts daughter gets the same passion for these bikes, be so awesome to see her grow and continue on the museum.
So cool seeing your daughter getting in there to help. Love that you are showing her how things go together and operate.
Much respect ,for getting your daughter her time with daddy ! So very important to her!
Your a great dad and your daughter is adorable 😊😊😊😊.
35:35 she really lights up!
I luv her enthusiasm and interest especially being so young and being a girl. At least she seems more interested in 110 year old bikes than barbie😂
71 years old I've been watching you guys for a long time I love how down to earth you guys are the amount of respect you show each other I appreciate every video I see thank you very much and keep up the good work God bless you and yours and keep you safe wolf 🐺 Lynn Massachusetts
Fantastic bikes and nice seeing your daughter working with her dad and is that the next generation of antique motorcycle restorers
I like how these bikes are always complete and just sitting around somewhere.
May be because none can start them anymore.
Grampa Dale is smiling down 30 years from now she's going to be the 1 restoring the museums bikes ❤
Man I love these videos and bike scores. Matt, I wasn't kidding the past two years when I talked to you at the museum that working there would be my dream job. I don't care what it pays. It's all about the history for me.
Love watching you work with your daughter. I'm totally geeking out watching you work on that 1914...
So awesome to see you passing down the Walksler traditions to your kids like your father did Matt. 👍♥️😎🍻🇨🇦
I love how you search the place and come up with a part your looking for. FUN TO WATCH!
Involving the baby girl made my heart happy.
The 55 is awesome and is in its original state. The 14 and the history lessons learning about the upgrades they did over the years is great information to hear. I’d like to be around for when that little girl realizes how great of a dad she has ….. such a lucky little person !
So nice to see you passing all that knowledge and love of these wonderful machine on to your daughter. Kudos, Matt.
Matt and the WTT crew having fun with what they love just makes my day!
Awesome video having your daughter helping in the shop. Can't wait to see her in 10 years riding and working on the bike's. Wheels through time is my favorite u tube channel .thanks for the enjoyment.

Hey buddy, its so nice to see your daugther in the workshop ! Kai from Germany
Matt You have the best motorcycle show on the web I have a 1949 45 wl original jumbo tires aluminum high compression heads .
Absolute Gold......... Who else just happens to have a pair of original 1914 tanks waiting for the right bike :)
My favorite part was about 8 seconds in when you went in for a high five and he gave you a hug.
Not straight.

Love it!! Beautiful example of period accessories! 1950s excess!!!
Hey man, I don’t know if you noticed but at 22:13 a piece went flying out when you were taking apart the gears in the HD 1914 engine. Would just like to inform you as it might be important!
