Below is a Link to my Harley-Davidson Pre Evolution OHV Big Twin Production numbers Document. The document was created to find yearly and total production numbers by engine type irrespective of model specifics such as EL, FL, FLH, FLP, etc. For Knucklehead, Panhead, Generator Shovelhead, & Cone Shovelhead Engines.

Sweden here....Great video and beautiful 66👌 1980 I bought a 1979 74" Lowrider. Still useing it however later I bought parts from a 69 flh so now it looks likes an electra glide for more comfortable ride but I still have all oem parts. Loooove my 🥰shovelhead.
I used to follow the magazine "Easy Riders" - through the 80s and 90s - it was always good for a laugh and some great pics of scoots (and girls) until I finally grew up. One thing I remember when Evos came along was a bumper sticker one of the editors pointed out: "God rides a Shovelhead". As a shovelhead owner, I wished I could have found one of those stickers. Never did. IMHO, Shovelheads still rule! :)

Lovely bike! Any way to improve that front brake? The speedometer can be fixed if you take it apart. There are plenty of UA-cam videos showing how.
Yes, for sure the front brake can be improved by "resurfacing the drum" I put that in quotes because it could be an unofficial resurfacing with a wire wheel to remove the glazing and some coarse grit sand paper by hand at an angle. That and some adjustment could lead to improved front braking. As far as the speedo is concerned. i believe one of the hardest parts is removing the glass case cover in a way that doesn't scar it up. I'd rather leave that to someone who has more experience and possibly some specialty tools.
