- I feel in love with Chiang Mai the first time I visited it and since then I have been back quite a few times.
Anyway, I'm in Chiang Mai and I'm struggling to remember that as you might notice in the early on.
It's one of my favorite places I have been to in the whole world.
Only let down by the the often bad air quality.

Well mate I had a Good time in Chiang Mai wayyy back in Nov. 2011- treking in & out of the city- great time- hope you have a good go at it too! PS- In a 'Hot & humid' environment you'll sweat and thereby loose wait- you'll see!
I would have to walk the length of Thailand and Malaysia to Singapore to lose enough weight. ;)

I like Hua Hin but prefer Chiang Mai. But, both places rock.
When you say international license do you mean a regular UK one or the same from any other country? Also how much did you pay per stop? Thanks for the walk around as I am hoping to get to Chiang Mai in October. I know certain things don't interest you but your audience might be interested in them.
I don't know about other countries. But in the UK you can go to the Post Office and buy an International licence (there are 3 different types, but 2 cover 99% of the countries) tell them which countries you are going to and they will give you the right one. It takes only 10 minutes to get one. But take your proper driving license and a passport style photo with you.
As for showing people around. I have been to Chiang Mai many times (before I started vlogging sadly) and I don't claim to be a travel vlogger. However if you check out my other channel ua-cam.com/channels/edDDkgFA_QOIcKkIbE6BzQ.html You will see much more.
