Ok so as someone who has a really hard time motivating myself to exercise when I do make the decision I typically go to an extreme, choosing all the hard workouts, 7 days a week. I would normally scoff at a stretch session on day 3, and almost did today. But I’m committed to this 7 day series, and within minutes of starting today’s class realized, oh I’ve been doing this so wrong! Recently I went so hard I had to take a whole week off from any form of exercise, I felt miserable and my mental health suffered. Nicole THANK YOU for balancing me! I learned a very valuable lesson today, and I hope others realize the same and take the time to slow back down and integrate all the hard work they’re doing by following your videos. Very good comment! I'm glad you realised how important it is to slow down too! I used to train in traditional kung fu, and one of the guys that went to another class, but with my same instructor, pushed himself just too hard, and one afternoon stepped out class as it finished, had a heart attack and died. We all went to his funeral. He was in his early 30's, in excellent shape, was a kung fu instructor himself, but still didn't know when too much is just too much. That's why I always push hard, but when I feel like I need to rest, or that my body isn't up for anything extreme, then I just take that day for something light, and do a tougher one the next. Always remember to treat your body right! That's why I appreciate Nicole's class very much! She constantly reinforces correct breathing, stretches, and even reminds you that if you can't do a certain pose, that it's okay to try the other easier variation. It's just a perfect flow in her classes! Wish you the best, and happy that you're finding a new and healthy way to exercise 😊

Just what I needed after a day in the office, and stretching is something I haven't focused on until the past year in lockdown. I am really starting to feeling the benefits, although my flexibility still so poor and I could not push up into that bridge position at all! Seemed so easy when I was a child!

I used to do the wheel pose so much as a child, and it had been years since I tried. Ir brought a super nice stretch and memories with it. Thanks Nicole 🙏🏻 Also, I decided to do this stretch instead of my usual workout because I'm on my period, and it almost completely eliminated my abdominal pain, that was amazing.

Done day 3!✅ Thank you! I did a 6 mile walk yesterday on top of day 2 work out with you, and I was very sore yesterday. I thought I might not be able to do it today, but what a pleasant surprise again! I still did sweat a little today :) This one today makes me feel good for doing 3 days in a row!
Hi Nicole, I love the idea of you doing a 7 day Move with Me Series. Very creative! The only issue is that this workout series is a bit too rigorous (and lengthy) for me. It turns out I have been over-exercising with a number of things I do and I got feedback from my wearable (Oura ring) that I have to start easing up a bit on my exercise routines for my optimal health. I would love it if you did another Move with Me series that has more moderate-level workouts and is closer to 20 mins or so in length. That would definitely be my sweet spot and I would love to do this type of series working all parts of the body over the course of the 7 days (or it could be 5 days as another possibility). I hope you will consider offering something like this as I continue to enjoy your more moderate-level workouts that are not so lengthy (also related to time constraints that make it more challenging to do the longer workouts). I have recommended your channel to some friends and family and they all seem to enjoy your moderate level workouts that are not so long so they can fit your workouts into their busy schedules. Thanks so much for all you do. I continue to sing your praises and recommend your workouts to anyone who is open to trying them. Hope you are doing well and enjoying a nice summer! 💫🙏🕊

Hi Nicole. Thank you for sharing your skills, enthusiasm and encouragement. One suggestion I’d have is that you remember that most of your audience mirrors your movements. As such it would be far better if when you, for example, extend your left leg that you refer to extending your right leg. This allows us to both mirror you while easily following your instructions. Thank you Nicole ! I did the 2 videos in a raw (the previous one and this one), it was perfect to finish the workout by this stretch. I wanted to congratulate you : your explanations for the bridge have helped me, I nearly managed to do it !! In fact my hands were too close to my head, that's why I couln't get very high. My bridge was not as high as yours, but it was a real little bridge 😉
