Crimson Desert looks amazing and you can glide through the air no worries falling off a mountain side while climbing or jumping off a cliff lol The scenery, castles, villages, the people & creatures and the combat not just hack & slash I was thrilled with the finishing moves excellent.
It's probably the best looking with also really solid gameplay too, out of all these. But I'm also looking forward to Exekiller. Been being teased a looong time. Too long. But I like it's artistic style. A desert bioshock. Probably going to end up the best actual gameplay out of all these games shown here
Crimson Desert is looking incredible. Im finally genuinely excited for a game to come out again. Its been a long time since that has happened. I hope it lives up to what is being shown. If it does, its going to knock it out of the park and be a fantastically fun game.
You missed 2 bangers that are even more realistic than any of these. Better start adding Body Cam and Unrecord to these videos. Body Cam can be wishlisted and it’s seriously insanely realistic looking.
Alkahest looks too good to be true almost. I've been saying for years that i'd love to see a first person action rpg like Dark Messiah, and Alkahest looks to be just that, certainly seemed like it had nods to Dark Messiah with the kicking into spikes and physics being involved in the combat. Hope it turns out good! =)
Somehow it feels more like a tech demo than a real game, from this footage. If you know what I mean. But I do hope it turns out to be actually be a good game with good gameplay by the time it comes out. For now it looks like a nice visual eye candy with somewhat ok gameplay.
@@Cold-2005 Unfortunately that's the case with many games these days in my humble opinion. And in regards of photo-realism, despite we're having RTX cards already for six years, the games generally look cartoonish. Additionally, NPCs often exhibit robotic movements, and in games like Cyberpunk, when all the path tracing features are enabled, the NPCs can appear cartoonish in contrast to the relatively photorealistic background. It's a similar experience like Disney's Roger Rabbit movie - half photo-realistic, half cartoonish. For the gaming industry it is therefore still a very long way to go, but "graphic-demos" like Second Loop are definitely a step into the right direction in terms of photo-realism. I look forward to the impact of new technologies like NTC, an AI based texture compression technology, that can reduce compressed texture sizes by 70%. Already today many triple A games use more than 100GB disk space, which increasingly is becoming an issue because of average available disk space which accordingly to steam is around 300GB and of course the download times. In order to improve photo-realism, textures will have to be even more detailed in future - besides supporting higher resolutions of 4K and beyond. Without new technologies like NTC (Nvidia) and NTBC (AMD), this won't be possible.
Alkahest looks really good, so different from other games. Not really into fantasy but I like the mechanics or controls, Black state looks good but hope they fix AI aim or will get boring fast.
Crimson Desert is my kind of game! Thanks for sharing :) Reanimal looks quite stunning too! Actually, Alkahest en Second Loop also look promising😊Not sure just yet about Black State though. But it’s still early (Alpha) footage we’re watching ;)
I wouldn't say Skyrim influenced crimson desert lol, I tried Skyrim and it's boring to me, the gameplay is too sluggish n stiff too, it's an ok game. Witcher 3 mix with ac vibes maybe but crimson feels like its own game to me🤷🏾♂️
Whatever happened to that futuristic, third person cyberpunk game in which you play as a bounty hunter? You talked about it many times, but I just can't remember the name.
Vigilancer 2099? that's the only one I see that sounds like it. The dev posted 10 days ago on Steam forum talking about trying to raise funds and that he'll post a progress video soon. Basically, small team with no money, so they have a long way to go.
Okay, the melee combat in the first game appears to follow "martial arts movie" rules instead of anything at all realistic. 🙄 The bad guys all stand around waiting for the player to decide which ones to approach and attack, at which point *maybe* one or two others move in to help while *nobody else* does anything. In reality, they would all mob the PC, dump him on his ass, and then stand around him as they stab and beat him to death. 🤨 And that twirling attack comes from JRPGs; in a real fight, turning your back to an opponent gets you stabbed in the back of the neck, or they close and grapple with one arm, pull out a knife with the other hand, and cut your throat. Stalker looks good, but Reanimal appears to be a horror game, and I don't care for those. How can WWI ever make a good setting for an action/adventure game anywhere other than in the Levant theatre of operations? The European war was a muddy, bloody slog-fest, where nobody could *ever* be a hero; so how does that make a good game? The only zombie game worth playing is Project Zomboid. So, in Novalis, you're basically somebody trying to make a living and get ahead in Blade Runner? And it even has flying cars and a soundtrack inspired by Vangelis? But all you're doing in the game is playing Sim City? 😒 In Jump Ship, is it possible to fly the ships in first-person? How much of a flight-sim is it? Shooting killer robots is never a bad premise for a game.
Yeah but wukong before looks too good to be true and after launch the game is really that good with are i guess allot cases when the game is made by a unknown game studio will have to believer in the devs and wait too see.
Am I the only one who thinks video games are going backwards? Seems to me each new generation of consoles gets worse with less interesting games. Idk though thats just my opinion
crimson desert combat looks shit to me, I prefer more realistic looking combat for immersion... also the world of the game is like all the other standart fantasy shit
can't wait for crimson desert
Me too bro I think It will be $60 😅
Is it on ps5 too??
Itd be great if not for the magic and fighting mechanics, each to their own though I guess
Rockstar needs to make a medieval rpg asap
@@cosmicserpent2181 YES!!!! I second this! I heard they are, too!!!👍
Ah, I get what people mean by draw distance, when I see Crimson Desert. That's nice.

And then just casually stand by and listen to the villagers asking you to save their family trapped in a burning building with zero rush to save them
are we really ignoring th RKO out of nowhere in the middle of sword fight??????? 9:27

No I came to the comments just to see if anyone seen it too 😂🔥

They look good. I would not say look too good to be true. They are not doing doing anything mind blowing.
Only one was really eye catching and that was Nivalis and Reanimal imho
looking forward to crimson desert and blight, got helldivers 2 for now and gonna get space marine and cod black ops soon
Nice, ignore stalker 2 which literaly has everything you ever wanted.
I've got space marines 2 and it's pretty damn good so far.

@@billybearham6343 well thats for sure
@@zombine7103Stalker standalone mods are better than Stalker 2, just watch it happen. Stalker 2 looks extremely generic.

Hey Math, here's another game you should talk about; Decadent. It's a story-driven FPS and it looks pretty neat.
Alkahest, finally a spiritual successor to Dark Messiah! 19 years later.
