  • If you're curious about monochromatic art, but a little uncertain as to what exactly that means, this is the video for you! In this video I talk about a few key color theory terms that will help you understand this color scheme. This includes Hue, Tint, Shade, & Tone.
The first half of the video shows you the differences between all the terms and in the second half we dive into what kind of paintings you can make using a monochromatic color scheme.

    Hello there! 😃
    Quick questions!
What kind of watercolor is best for this type of painting, a non staining, low staining, or staining? I supposed high staining is not a good option.... or it doesn't matter? I honestly don't know. Also, is it better to use non granulating colors, or that doesn't matter either?
Hope you get to see this and answer those 2 questions! 😁
    Thx in advance!
    *Cool video btw! 🥰

Problem with adding black to yellow is it turns it green, not dark yellow.

It can definitely depend on the ratio of colors and the original hue of yellow, but green is definitely one way it can be pulled.
