Hey John. I love that I and many others will continue to know of Jamie, and the story of how you and Robin met, and the poem and just - how bloody lovely.
Went to Uni with Robin. We both worked for Eddie Izzard together at the Edinburgh Festival during the Summer holidays. He did the lighting. I did a bit of everything. Robin was less talkative and confident back then, but such a lovely bloke and delightful company. 😊
Being a grown man in your 30’s and feeling “bullied” by someone who employs you when you’re totally free to leave at any time is just pathetic. At least Karl would never resort to that.
I once saw Robin Ince standing at a train station in Scotland. He looked dejected and diminutive. I checked and he had been doing a gig that day, it musnt have been very good.
So true what he says about Ricky running around telling people they shouldn’t be offended by words, then getting offended and turning his back on a very old friend for calling him out on the impact some of the words he uses has. Robin is better off without him. It’s good to see him happy and doing what he loves.
@@Chadhogan111 It makes perfect sense. Ricky has said in countless occasions that you can be iffended, but it doesn't make you right. The moment Robin called him out, he responds badly.
