These people up here are stroking one another's egos. Nobody cares about how long you've "been in the fight" what matters are the results. I see none. Yvette and Tone are why we're even having this conversation. None of us had heard of NCOBRA and when we finally did, we weren't impressed. Thank God for ADOS!
I supported NAARC [I donated money for over a decade] and other Reparations movements for several decades prior to 2000. MOST BLACK AMERICANS LOST INTEREST during their efforts. I witnessed this first-hand. Ultimately because their tactics made little to NO progress. With all due respect THIS is a FACT. The ADOS Movement made Reparations relevant on America's political stage. Such success has been rewarded with all kinds of expected attacks from the established order [Democrat party and even academic institutions]. Yet the most sickening aspects of such attacks have been in-group Black Gate Keepers, Grifter-Opportunists and Black elders unwilling to pass the torch.
Black Americans BELIEVED in this country before anyone else did. We are a GREAT and PROUD people. Reparations are OWED and the justice for them is overdue.
I felt so inspired by everyone who spoke. I support ADOS, Tone and Yvette but thank you to everyone who came and spoke because at the end of the day Reparations is the end game. A better tomorrow for our communities. Except the folks talking bout today's immigrants being tomorrow's Africans American. Just no!
Evanston was a failure. We don't want what happened in Evanston replicated any whwere. You had to have good credit to get that little house renovation money. How is that reparations? If you all support this voucher nonsense and don't push for true reparations. Anyone who wants to know what really went down in Evanston needs to look up the lady who was there first hand. Who saw all their foolishness. Evanston is a blueprint for what NOT to do!
The NCOBRA and NAARC representatives spent their entire introductions trying to position themselves superior to ADOS. The second Yvette was named, towards the end they lost all chances of that. Irrelevant to the topic, I see you stylin’ Yvette. Clean.
Side note: many of us have/had Colored and/or Negro on the Birth Certificates. Oh and one question, please! When did they start with giving us a Nationality, mostly based on skin color?
Ron Daniels is extremely arrogant and he thinks he is going to dictate to ADOS and he is not.
The ADOS influence is definitely being felt ✊
Why is it always a study for us meanwhile their communities are receiving direct cash payments.
ADOS representing! 👍🏽

So happy to see ADOS in the building doing the work.... much appreciated fam!
We have to first identify who is eligible for slavery reparations in America. And if it's not ADOS, then you're not talking about reparations.
