- One of the characters in BlazBlue: Central Fiction is pretty much the Zato-1 of the game, which means he is a THREAT. We're gonna be fighting a Carl Clover player in BBCF with rollback and see if my Jin can try and take them down!

BlazBlue: Central Fiction (BBCF) is the fourth entry in the BlazBlue series. This is the last game to feature Ragna the Bloodedge as the protaganist, while also introducing new characters to the franchise, including Hibiki Kohaku, Naoto Kurogana, and Es. Developed by Arc System Works (ArcSys), this game is playable on the Playstation 3 (PS3), Playstation 4 (PS4), Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). Alongside its latter entry BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, an update is planned to include Rollback Netcode in February 2022.

None of what happened surprised but it was the first time I saw the use of Ada to push Carl from behind to negate the push back from attacks. That’s really cool
I love how "low, bonk, low, bonk, low, low" is conditioning. It's so silly looking. I hit someone with 4 tkBadMoons in a row the other day then just hit them low. Had the blocked high one interaction earlier, I'd have died.

Don't forget about his father Relius Clover. Like Carl; it takes skill to use him, but once you get used to using him; the jumping and pressure is nearly endless.

Carl is great, but I would say the time investment is pretty brutal. Like you gotta really want to make him work, and the way he's designed it's an uphill battle until you know him inside and out.

I think So. Eddie at least moves with Zato, but Nirvana doesn't automatically follows Carl. But I never played more than 1 hour with each one, so I don't have the property to say for sure.
@@jonatanp.1976 Eddie was more in line with Carl. Strive's Zato-1 is certainly much easier than Carl
Zato was more carl like in the previous installements but he was never harder than carl. In strive, He's like Relius.
People normally say that puppet characters have to control two characters at once, and that’s typically kind of an exaggeration. Not with *these* guys though…

One of the best. The main problem with Carl is the skill it takes to use him, whereas many can pickup Nine and do well with her.

Is BlazBlue worth playing online without rollback? I'm ps4 only, but BlazBlue looks sick. That being said, I tried to go back to DBFZ and hated it. Feeling like I was playing in mud had me mad upset.
I swear, I played melty and went back to dbfz and it felt so effing slow
Honestly because I love the game and joined some PS communities that require good net, it wasn't so bad and the game is too sick to not play imo. Otherwise I'd say no, Steam has rollback, bigger player base which equates to more characters being played. Also, my favorite, custom color palettes you can make if you have the ingenuity.

@@BlueDragon7100 BBTAG is a tag fighter like DragonBall Fighterz or Marvel vs Capcom. With the addition of other 2D anime fighters and Roosterteeth's Rwby characters.

Similar characters, but they control VERY differently. I'd say Relius is more like Zato.
Not really lol. Carl is classic Zato with the negative edge inputs, and Relius is Strive Zato with the command inputs

@@NeoBoneGirl Yeah, but with Carl you have to do motion input + negative edge. With Zato/Eddie, it's JUST the button you need to worry about.

Hey Kizzie, if it's not too much trouble amd you get some free time you should do a player guide for Blazeblue. I probably wording this horribly wrong, but just go over the characters and tell new comers the characters playstyle and the like if that makes any sense lol

I am of the understanding that Carl has been pretty strong in all of BlazBlue, from Calamity Trigger to Central Fiction, and I F@CK#N HATE him! I don't like playing him, I don't like playing against him, I just hate this character.
Totally admit I have the hardest time using this character cause I'm a paint chugging Tager main, and negative edge is weird as Hell to me.
