Be careful with any *traps, tricks, or distractors* they might play. 8. Listen for *signposting language.* 9. Choose the *correct* answers. (The video accidentally skipped from step 8 to step 10 so don't get confused).

I literally was in a topographical panic as couldn't understand where we stood. Parkin' area... Aaaarh, where is it!?!?! Then calmed down and got it! Thank you very much for this material, it helps a lot to improve listening skills!
idk why, but your strategies are a common sense. I used your strat in my 1st lesson, however I still need a hard work on this British accent, especially the porous one. the other accent don't really bother me bcs they still pronounce it well, but bcs of my life is exposed to american english it's really hard for me to grasp them. After I realize my disadvantage, I always hear a lot of British speakers, and yea I can apprehend better than bfr, yet still hard to determine when they speak like the boston accent.

Since I was always learning with Cambridge Books about CAE Advanced certificate, I only was able to choose the right answers in 9 and 10 after listening to the recording for the first time, only after the second I got them all right. I need to adapt to this style first.
