So I have been using this pump wrong for nine months!!!! I could not figure out why it was not working properly. I thought it was me, and I was not able to produce milk. After being in pain for 9 months I just decided to give up breast feeding, because I knew pumping is not supposed to be uncomfortable. I work full time, so pumping is essential for my son's food supply. Also this video was posted on my birthday. I feel it was meant for me. Thank you. I really appreciate it!
Im researching pumps for baby #2 and I find myself coming back to your channel for every single pump I’ve looked at so far. Thank you for all of the useful info!!!
I bought the pump for my sister and she used it nine full months at the office: she was so grateful that she was able to pump while working. It’s very silent and comes with a wide range of accessories. I recommend it to all mothers 🤱🏻👼🏻
Its so important for reviews to describe or show (with a balloon) how the suction feels/suction pattern. It is the one thing the box or spec sheet wont describe but it effects the experience so much. Thank you for doing that.
Such an informative review!😆 Between the ardo and ameda mya is there one u would prefer over the other? (I’m a first time mom trying to choose the best pump)😅
Thanks for the new review! This is one of the pumps my insurance covers, along with the Spectra, Medela PISA, and a couple of Ameda ones. I was thinking of just getting a PISA again because I had great milk production and no problems...would you recommend this over the PISA or spectra?
Id opt for a pump that allows you to adjust the speed and vacuum levels independently. Spectra and Ardo both do, and I find it was huge in comfort and gerting more milk in less time.
I'd actually be interested to know what Ameda ones are offered! If it's the Ameda Mya or Ameda Mya Pro, I would totally pick those. I responded and liked those much better than the Spectra. But if it's neither of those I would pick the Spectra!
I was so nervous this was going to go the other way and be about a different pump. Things like this just goes to show your commitment to quality and honest content! *Insert clapping emoji* I'm on my laptop use your imagination lol
Thx for the explanation, came across this video assessing different devices for my wife. My only concern would be that with frequently using the inserts this way, the friction could results in particles reaching the milk, but probably this is limited as it is al made of silicon and no hard plastics. Do you see any damage/erosion with extended use this way?
Hi, I am looking for the most silent and portable pump. Which is the smaller and quietest pump you have tried? I’m between the motif duo, Ameda mya or calypso
The hard thing is suddenly the light is not full and I have to turn off and tilirn on again.. Hard to explain why this bar on both vacuum and cycles not showing full bar
Sounds like I need a new flange. The 26mm that comes with it is just way to big. It should come with other sizes. 3 months into pumping and my supply is crap and my nipple hurt everytime I pump. Thank you so much for this video!
Hi! For very sensitive nipples, would you recommend this or pumpables? I have the spectra s1 but I find that it hurts even with the right flange size and at the lowest level (and I don’t clear at the lowest levels). Thank you!
Hello dear I’m a first time mum and I’m trying to get a breast pump which my insurance covers. I have a tiny breast.. Ameda Mya Joy, Ardo Calypso essential, spectra S2, Medela pump in style double and Evenflo deluxe advance
Get a reputable source to size you! If you’re not comfortable with that there are resources to size yourself too. The admins of Breast, Bottle, & Beyond Facebook group can size you. I can too over on Instagram where I’m more available. There’s also people who offer it as a paid service but I don’t have any experience using anyone and would hate for your to waste your money on something inaccurate!
Total kudos to the brand for being willing to talk to you and want real communication and to you for being as thorough and honest as you are!!!
I was so impressed by them!!😍

I would say spectra all the way.
@Helen Hines I used both, the PISA and Spectra, and used the Ardo after and LOVED it. I loved it so much, I used it for a second child.
I had great experience with Ardo's pump!

Looking into this pump and the lansinoh smart 3.0, which one do you like best?
Thank you!
Lansinoh is her favorite. I used Lansinoh for 1 year and it was awesome!

where to use the silicon covers? I am a size 24 but the flange size given is 26mm
Are you able to change milk containers for bigger ones or was it hard to find something bigger to match the machine?

Loving your videos 😍
Glad you like them!
In between this and Ameda Mya! Would you personally use a portable pump to pump exclusively with?
As far as portable goes, the Mya!
Can you tell me what you would prefer, the ameda Mya or the ardo, given the two?
Ameda Mya!
@@MommaAlia thank you!!

I cannot get the flange off
As a new mum, how do you work out your flange size? Xx
