We had a difficult time towards the end of our Cub meeting yesterday so I started chanting "D-O-W-N and that's the way to get down" on ou walk back to the den (my co-leader followed, I had taught her the song/game before the meeting) and the Cubs really took to it and started chanting too. Back at the den we had a little time before our closing ceremony so we did this in a circle and they absolutely loved it, they kept chanting it as they were getting into their parents' cars. Thanks for this!! :D

Why do you dance when you say "That's the way you get down"? Get down doesn't mean to dance. I just found it misleading for the kids to learn this phrase. What do you think Youth Ministry?
