✅ Items Needed for EASIEST Install:
* Clean, warm, dry area to work in
* Rubbing alcohol and rag or alcohol prep wipes
* Adhesion promotor and rag or primer wipes - available at local automotive store or on Amazon
* Tweezers
* OPTIONAL Hair Dryer or heat source
👩🏫 Step By Step Instructions:
1. Wipe down surface with rubbing alcohol to remove dirt, debris and dust
2. Apply adhesion promotor to a rag and wipe down the area to be covered with trim
3. Remove the backing from the 3M double sided tape on the trim piece
4. Position trim piece over area to be covered and press firmly into place, holding pressure for 30-60 seconds
⚠️ Tips & Tricks:
* Avoid spraying adhesion promotor directly on vehicle surface as overspray will make things tacky and be hard to clean up
* Tweezers can make removing the tape backing MUCH easier
* Have a trash can handy for the tape backing trash, there will be a good bit of it!
* Use a heat source if plastic needs slight molding to fit properly but avoid overheating and melting the plastic

You need to heat each piece with a hair dryer or heating gun (the sticky tape). I had blue and changed to chrome and they are even harder to get off afterward because the tape strips are stuck to the handles and hinges. Been there done that!
Great for covering up all the Hinge corrosion on our JL’s.
Actually the corrosion and bubbling has spread so much, the covers will not help.
Key tool needed: heating gun because I had blue and changed to chrome. Heating those strips on the inside on low heat is very important or you will hear them fall off down the road.

Hi, my jeep came with the fender vent trim (lime green actually). How do I️ remove them to change the color?
Use a flat plastic removal tool and carefully pry around the edges. If it’s super stuck you can heat it with a hair dryer or heat gun to loosen up the glue. 😁

We appreciate your feedback. We’ve had covers on for over 2 years and when removed they were clean and dry underneath. Perhaps you encountered a problem with proper fit or application.
How do u take old off to put new on?
You can use a plastic removal tool that’s available in your local parts store or on Amazon. Gently pry and apply heat if needed to loosen the adhesion. I have videos on my website that show removal that may be helpful to you. Please also call or text the shop at 843-516-7147 if needed!
Do they come off in brush car washes
Thank you for your question. We don’t recommend taking any vehicle through a brush car wash because they leave micro scratches in your paint from the dirt and sand that collects on the brushes. That said, our covers have been through pressure washing, highway speeds and off roading in tight areas and have stayed put. Properly applied, they should stay on until you want to take them off.
Can these be painted?
They actually come custom painted in over 75 colors on our website. These just happen to be mojito green.
