Gillian Simpson Aw thank you so much that is very kind of you 😘 I hope that you are feeling as ok as you can be and I know what you mean my anxiety and depression has got a lot worse since diagnosis but I’m trying to keep positive and taking one day at a time. Aw I hope it’s not too bad right now I know exactly how you feel. Just take it a day at a time and that’s so lovely of you, if you need a chat I’m here for you too 😘 xx
Hi love I know how it feels to know this is life now I struggle with that...I take amitriptyline..tramadol..morphine patches but still like you in terrible pain ....gentle hugs ..have an amazing time at Harry potter xx
Dawn Evans I know it’s so hard isn’t it dawn. I’m hoping I get something more in relation to pain relief but we shall see. Aw I hope you are having a better day and feeling as good as you can be. Thank you so much I am looking forward to it but anxious because of pain but I’m sure it’ll be fine xx
Well done on your weightloss, that’s great considering everything that is going on. My friend has fibromyalgia but has been doing Pilates and yoga plus walking and not only has she lost weight it has eased the symptoms and helped her head feel more balanced if that makes sense...also she found eating less sugar and sweeteners really help xx
Well done on your loss this week Vicky and please try not to worry about your Fibro I know it is quite daunting at first but you are seeing lots of people who will give you good advice and ways to help, but don't be afraid to say if some of the things are not working for you. Everyone is different and it affects people in different ways, so do the meds. I can't take fibro meds, they make me really sick so I just take pain killers. I don't think doctors realize how overwhelming it is for fibro patients when they are first diagnosed or ever really, it takes time for it all to sink in and for you to come to terms with it all, but they are there to help some of what they say will. some not so much. You will learn what you can and cannot do and you will learn to take breaks often and to stop beating yourself up or feeling guilty because you cannot do anything for a day or two. You will get there I know you will Lastly what a fabulous husband you have, how thoughtful to get you such a gift, hope you both have a wonderful time, you so deserve it. Sending love and gentle hugs your way
Loraine Beckwith Aw thanks so much for this it really means a lot 😘😘 I know what you mean it overwhelmed me and I didn’t expect it too but she was just so calm with it. I am going to see what helps but I’m afraid to ask for anything stronger as she was a bit reluctant to give me tramadol. I hope you are feeling as well as you can be and thanks again for being there for me I’m still really new too all this. I know he’s amazing and I would be lost without him I think this break will do us both good xx
Anytime, I was told it can take up to 3 months before you see any benefit from the meds, but good luck with them, I hope they work for you. I have my assessment on the 20th March, I am not looking forward to it at all oh well I guess we have to go through these things. :) xx
Loraine Beckwith Aw thank you 😘 I’m going to hang in there and hope that I can get some relief soon. Good luck with your assessment I hope it goes well xx
Oh Vicky I so admire your determination to stick on the plan with all you have going on...I know where you’re coming from with all the pain...I have a torn disc and herniated discs...have you ever been offered Morphine patches ?..I have just been put on a low dose one, but have to cut down the Tramulief tablets before being put on a higher dose patch..I hope the capsicum cream helps you, I find it helps me some along with my Tens machine, Amytriptyline etc.,etc.,.I wish you more comfort Vicky xx
Lesley Rawlings Aw thank you so much Lesley 😘 it’s so hard isn’t it to just get through the day with chronic pain. I haven’t been offered them yet but I have my telephone consult soon so will talk them more about pain relief then. I am going to get a tens machine and see if that helps, I hope you are feeling as good as you can be and thanks again for your kind words it means a lot xxx
Well done on your loss flower. Keep strong, it was a tough watch as my hubby is a fibro sufferer who is fighting every pain, and as men are stubborn as a mule hasn't gone down the pain clinic route just yet. xx
Aw thank you so much hun. It's so hard and it's something that I don't think I'm dealing with that well but I have to talk about it as if I can help someone then it's worth it. Your husband needs to get checked out but I know it's easier said than done and if he can get some relief then it'll help. If you ever need a chat or your husband does please let me know xx
Vicky there is something else that crossed my mind...do you use heat pads ? the type you have in your chair and bed, I’ve had them for twenty odd years and couldn’t be without them..mine are called Dreamland intelliheat they are £32 each and you can get them on Amazon, they are worth their weight in gold to me..I have one in my chair and one in my bed..I wish you brighter days ahead..xx
Lesley Rawlings Aw thank you for thinking of me 😘 This sounds like a good idea as I feel the heat does help ease it a bit. I always have my heated seat on in the car and it’s lush lol. I’ll have a look into it xx
You are Amazing my lovely especially with everything going on Well done with your weight loss this week 👍😘 I so hope they get things sorted out for you pain wise Definitely talk to someone I know this is unrelated but in November 16 I started getting ringing in my ears, it turned out I have tinnitus and mild hearing loss For no apparent reason I still have it, it’s horrible It’s like a high pitched sound 24/7 sleeping has been a nightmare But anyway I found talking to someone helped to look at it in a different way, to not focus on it, or worry !! So definitely I’d say go to that, it’ll definitely help! Try meditation, just so you can try and relax I had a CT scan years ago, it’s ok Last year I had 3 MRI scans 2 because of my hearing! You know what sweetheart life is shit sometimes, and it’s unfair But keep your chin up, keep smiling, it must be so hard But don’t let this take over you, your strong and you will be okay Lots of love and if you need to, just message me on Instagram or here It’s always good to talk, and sometimes we bottle things up and that’s not always the best And I’m so glad your going to Harry Potter world, you will absolutely love it We’ve been it’s fab Enjoy it We want to go back Take Care lovely xxx 😘😘
