I looked down once for a second then spent 9 days in the hospital lol be safe my friends
oh crap! glad youre here to tell the tale! things happen fast! sometime electronics make things scary
The only time I’ve ever bumped anything. Myself and another ahead of me pulling out after a trail side sandwich. We just get moving maybe a couple seconds, 12-13 mph. I glanced down for less than a second at the fuel gauge. I look up and no time to stop! “Oh sh@t!” He unexpectedly stopped to fuss with a boot or something. Boink! GPS showed maybe 10-12 mph. Bent a shock and a control arm when my left ski rode up over his track into the tunnel. Not a scratch on his sled. We both got tossed into snow luckily. Got a new an arm and neck X shocks out of it.
Kicker? We were using cheap communicators and he said he was stopping. But the darn things have almost a second delay. That second was the one I needed but didn’t get.
No following distance is too great. And if you are up front of someone remember they are on sleds. Don’t do anything unexpected if you can help it. And try to pull right if you have to stop. My buddy was right in the middle of the trail. No factor in this but once we were standing around I noticed I had nowhere to go anyway.
The whole thing made me a better lead rider. But unlike Gary, I stop at stop signs. The drag racer left in me actually likes taking off again!
Oh, you’re the one knocking down all the Signs lol😂😂
yep 🤫
Speedometer off? Saw speeds above 49.5 km/h! 😉
🤫🤫
😂 Yes, I should really have it checked out, I think it’s way off and Keeps adding a “1”
I’d gladly at this point! Was forecast to get feet, now down to a wet 3-4 inches. :-(
this is gonna be a tough season for us!
Only ridden up north…..snirt for days
Gotta ride while you can seasons are short in the south…
🤘
What’s your thoughts on the 129 mxz vs the 137? Any preference ?
the 129 is a great all around performer and if you are an aggressive rider, the 129 is better for sure. Bump performance is a little better on the 137. I could really go either way TBH
Great thank you. Would you say the 129 is a little more playful? I’m thinking about going with the 1.5 track and studding it for a little more hook up. @@mudbrats
@@Sdm07120 yes 129 is more playful - corey is running a 1.5 Storm on his - says its the best track for the 129. His 2020 with that track would hook up!
Were you running on a pipeline? Seems odd with the areas of no snow like that.
It’s a railbed.. always gets windswept or crazy drifts..
no frost in the ground where theres creeks under - we had a crappy year snow wise last year but its even worse so far this year
@@mudbrats I just got the first two inches here yesterday. A long way from having the trails open. No significant snow forecast in the near future either. Enjoy while you can.
What system do you use for communicating
Hey we use uclear motion 6
Uclear motion series.
Zero f$&@ given lol
