JOYO Us Dream vs SUHR Riot

- Distortion pedal matchup! Comparison between a clone and the original, Joyo Us Dream vs Suhr Riot with a GIBSON LES PAUL TRADITIONAL (with some vintage-style pickups: BKP's The Mule & Stormy Monday).
I played a SUHR BADGER 18 amp through an ORANGE PPC212 cabinet, which was recorded by a Sennheiser e906 mic.
Video and photos were shot with a Nikon D7000 camera.

The Joyo Us Dream has to be the best distortion pedal for the money. Mine sounds amazing and my friends with their boutique pedals can't believe the sound coming from my amp with this thing. I put this up there with one of the best distortion sounds you can get period and it's surprisingly touch sensitive.
Can we just take a minutie to appreciate the insane video quality
I'll start off by saying i fucking LOVE the Riot since the day I heard it, but never got to own one because of the ridiculous price tag. Then recently I came to know of the US Dream and found out it was a Riot clone, so naturally I shit my pants and immediately scoured the internet for reviews and demos. And honestly its shocking just how similar they both sound, but with such a huge price difference. The Riot only wins by a hair by sounding tighter, and more focused. Just ordered a US Dream.
By the way, I noticed the Suhr has a little bit les dirt/gain because I dropped it's volume to match the Joyo's 12 o'clock. Thanks for checking in guys!
The Suhr Riot has a slightly richer sound with more depth and harmonics, but only SLIIIIIGHTLY. The Joyo US Dream kicks it's ass overall when you consider both factors of Sound and Price. It's just such a great value. So if money is of no concern to you whatsoever, then go with the Suhr. But the Joyo is 99% as good, and with the savings you could purchase more gear to further enhance your available tones. The Joyo US Dream is the clear winner when you consider all factors and not PURELY sound and sound alone.

Very good comparison video. I can't tell enough of difference to justify the extra $$$ for the Riot......
Very useful, i finally bought the us dream the difference between sounds is very short.. I put my us dream in front of my laney cub12r and the sound is excelent for playing and recording
I use to put on my pedalboard my Us Dream pedal followed by my OD 100 Behringer, it sounds spectacular, powerful.
