Great to see the kid being involved on the upgrade
I like how he plants a seed to encourage him to be more efficient at problem solving 3:41 . He could have just told him to take the clip off the chain, but presented it as a choice : with the goal to be to choose the most efficient way for him to do it with the tools he had at hand. Good teacher
How hard do you think it would be to motorize my knee scooter? I'm not sure if I will ever walk again normally and wanted to have fun in a crummy situation? Thanks Brian
At 4:55, your sons soul leaves his body for a split second!
It sure does! That upshift got him!
@@SparkyMoto made me laugh.
I noticed you never actually put the forks on the front end of the CRF50? Is that because you tried and the triple clamp didn't fit? I'm running those forks on my CRF50 and I tried the P5 BMX BILLET BAR CLAMPS and the forks didn't really line up and there was also a gap between the sides of the fork tubes. I did NOT try the z50r Conversion plate and was wondering if that one would fit? It's just kind of deceiving that you show the new forks next to the crf50 but don't show any mounting of them or anything like that. Any information would be greatly appreciated as I'm in the process of trying to make those front forks etc. fit any type of triple clamp conversion plate so I can run tall bars etc. thank you.
Can you run the wider rear wheel from the z50 (3.5) on the front of the crf50 when doing this upgrade?
So, 2 rear wheels instead of the common 2.5 front
Just picked up a crf50 for my 6year old (the razor mx350 he had since 3 just isn’t cutting it anymore) now I’m trying to get all knowed upp on em
Excellent info, thanks for posting! I just realized I have a complete Z50 wheel, hub, sprocket & brake panel complete with axle & spacer. Tube & tire are all I'll need to throw a fatty on the rear.
My snowblower has a set of those tires but I should probably leave them alone?
I thought the gold paint would look tacky but boy was I wrong! Looks great!
I was little skeptical myself, but I am definitely happy with the results!
Another sick vid m8 ! KEEP EM COMING
I can't find the list of stuff need to buy to put fat tires on my honda crf50
Keep the content coming! Great way to start my Friday! 🎉🎉🎉
I'm really excited to see the bike finished. It is an awesome build to do with your son.
I think I seen the fat tire on the stock z50 forks, was there any issues as to why you changed forks? Can I run it on the stock forks
Yes, that new tire will fit the original Z50 forks
Good to know the snow hog tires fit a stock CRF swingarm. It's just a shame that for the fork you either have to buy a longer fork that raises the seat height for little kids, or spend the same amount for a rusty old Z50 fork with way less travel...
What a goodball
Cool upgrade!!!
Would like to see the crf50 spoked wheel on the rear of the z50 and what would need to be done to make it fit.
It wouldn't be easy. The CRF50 hub/brake is too wide to fit into the Z50 swingarm. And CRF50 is monoshock while the Z50 is dual shock, so a swingarm swap won't work either. Sorry.
@@SparkyMoto Would have to shave down the z50r wheel spacer or make your own for it to fit. After that crf50 rear wheel would bolt up no problem.
Easy way to put crf50 front wheel on z50r is to swap the complete z50 front end with a crf50 front end.
having the fat tires will really help with sand, snow or anywhere.
Very cool👏
