VW New Beetle Convertible Roof Latch Handle Droops?

If like me you have reached that stage in life where your handle droops, this should help. Basically you need to remove the plastic cover and lube all the moving parts then work them back and forth to free it all up. Take the time to clean all the sealing surfaces and lubricate your hoods pivot points while you are at it.

As in to lubricate? WD40 or anything similar then just work them all back and forth to lubricate.
