That first wave of DC figures they released was pretty rough, but Mcfarlane is definitely getting better with their sculpts, especially with this new deathstroke.
@@devynn1313 It becomes REALLY clear when you look at the Detective Comics #1000 Batman and than look at the new Arkham Knight Batman. I don't even have them but just looking at It... Yeah. Big improvement
Really like what mcfarlane is doing with the dc figures, just hope they keep releasing figures from the Arkham series, they have some of the best designs in my opinion
I'll gladly take an empty holster over having a gun molded into the damn thing! COMPANIES NEED TO LEAVE THE HOLSTERS EMPTY IF THEYRE NOT GONNA MAKE THE GUNS REMOVEABLE
I love it when he says "Unfortunately this is it just these, well you do get a coffee stain but I wish we did get more accessories". He really had me there for a minute lol. I thought he was going to say a rifle or gun but nope just my favorite accessory "COFFEE STAIN" lol.
The sculpt on these guys are pretty solid and I like the bigger scale the only thing that throws me off is the obscure designs maybe down the road we’ll see more I guess popular designs such as maybe a killing joke joker , the dark knight returns Batman , a year one Batman , and maybe movie figures from the dark knight trilogy , BVS , and The Batman .
Spot on review. I agree with it 100%. It'd be nice if McFarlane offered fancier 1:6 or 1:4 versions of some of these figures with more details, switchouts, and accessories; similar to Hot Toys but maybe a little cheaper. Regardless, these figures are amazing for the price and are must haves for Batman fans.
@Terrence Odonnell no, if nobody cared about Aquaman, then I doubt his movie would have made a billion dollars. He's a popular character now, deal with it
I still wish for proper torso articulation, McFarlane could easily implement it in the sculpt because Deathstroke is armored and he could do a damn well job of making it seemless. Just a minor peeve but the waist crunch could be enough
Yeah they need to add more accessories and they need to work on the articulation for their figures. The sculpt is top notch and probably the only reason I’m really into them.
i want this figure but i think he'll look a little weird next to a bunch of 6 inch figures. However, he is 6 foot 5 which is pretty tall even by superhero standard.
Deathstroke also was a part of Arkham Knight! (a lame part, but it's the same suit) would make sense since he released alongside Arkham Knight Batman- but his outfit in Origins and Knight is pretty much the same
I was ok with the holster/pistol mold...until seeing it closer...lack of research (possibly) because the pistol sits too high in that holster. That holster design is meant to cover the trigger well...
I had to pick this up as well as the Justice League, surprisingly Dorkside had Deathstroke in stock today, Cyborg and Aquaman are on sale for $14, Flash was $20, and I got Superman's and Batman from Gamestop
This figure looks great for a $20 but this was such a missed opportunity by McFarlane. You can tell they held back because almost every other figure recently has weapons that can holster as well as an ab crunch. If the Mortal Kombat figures can have weapons and articulation so should this. They either have something better in the future or completely Sharted the bed,
This habit Todd has of sculpting weapons onto the figure vs making them separate is frustrating. I realize it keeps the price down but if he keeps this up I’m going to start buying better, but more expensive import figures. Just means I’ll have less figures but I will be much more satisfied in the long run.
I'm a bit late to the party, stockers put these out late in my area so.....my issues with McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse figures is that they are a little stiff and I don't know all the tricks to make the joints more cooperative. While trying to put both of Slade's hands on the sword (phrasing) his right arm popped out of the swivel socket. YIKES! I have a McFarlane Batman that I posed ONCE since the purchase, yet the Cyberpunk 2077 Johnny Silverhand figure gave less resistance out of the box. Also I noticed that MacFarlane Toys released 2 versions of the Johnny Silverhand. One with a liquor bottle amd guitar and the other with a duffle bag and pistol. Wonder which one will be more valuable.
I got this and Arkham Knight Batman for 14.99 each today. I like both alot but am pissed off about the molded gun and lack of a staff or knife or guns it's ridiculous for a mercenary like Deathstroke to not have
Yo bro could i ask which is the best scarlet witch action figure the one with odin head, the one with magneto and quivksilver or the cilvil war one pls answer
Solid review shart! Honestly had to cancel my pre-order for this guy. The lack of accessories and the molded in gun, along with the lack of chest movement really killed my buzz for it. Don't backpedal Mcfarlane! Push ahead with accessories AND articulation! And. Give. Us. Thigh. Swivels!!!

This is one i been waiting for since it was announced, I always wanted this design in 1/12th scale I’m glad we finally do although the proportions is alittle too big for my liking because I collect marvel legends and like to put deathstroke with those figures because he’s my favorite dc character and I love his costume
Same, bro like i want this figure but I just cant have deathstroke taller than thor, that shit aint right, I honestly like what Mcfarlane is releasing but if they just scaled with ML. 😔

I think I have this coming. I had the GI Joe classified Storm Shadow pre-ordered through Amazon Canada and they just emailed the day it was supposed to be delivered saying they've canceled my pre order... I have this pre-ordered as well so who knows..
I finally got mine from Target online (paid the retail price.. only price I'll pay for these action figures).. visually, it's very nice. I feel like Mcfarlane is seriously lacking in accessories but makes it up in sculpt, Killed it with another great review!

Come on McFarlane! Make a classic Deathstroke dude. Stop stalling.
And give him more accessories than this figure.
we also need more DC characters that aren’t realated to Batman. (Like Green Lantern and Aquaman who don’t have many figures)
@Terrence Odonnell no, if nobody cared about Aquaman, then I doubt his movie would have made a billion dollars. He's a popular character now, deal with it
