The DC Collectibles version is my favorite but the McFarlane version looks good too.

So interesting that some of the more "demanded" figures are always the most lackluster releases. He looks stunning, don't get me wrong... but the lack of accessories is so silly.

dude, it's 19.99. Accessories can be 3D printed easily. Nice sculpt like McFarlane can't be custom made at $19.99

I hear a lot of people are finding him at GameStop. You might preorder at amazon, they are supposed to get it in less than a week
I can't wait for this figure, but the fact that you can't remove the pistol from the holster makes NO SENSE, there is no reason for it to be like that on any action figure

I do wish the blue pieces were more metallic like DC Directs but still a great fig as always by McFarlane.
Yeah does not have that metallic look to it, but the texturing and damage and detail all of the figure is absolutely amazing

Man I'm pumped for mine to arrive. Like you said this puts some high-end figures to shame. Great, honest review as usual man!
The DCC Deathstroke is really good in my opinion. But I do think Mcfarlane overall trumps him wrt what he does for the price. DCC on average was about 5 dollars more, which i feel helped them cover the cost of unique sculpts, extra paint and accessories. Mcfarlane is a flat 20 dollars, so I feel this limits his ability to provide all the other stuff. So for what he's doing, I think Mcfarlane's figures are better. If he upped his price so he could scale up the accessories etc, I think he'd actually be better than DCC.

Trying real hard not to just become a Mcfarlane shill, but holy CRAP is he releasing great figure after great figure right now. I've got DC stuff, Fortnite stuff, Warhammer 40k stuff, My Hero Academia stuff, Mortal Kombat stuff, and since starting all the way back with Cuddle Team Leader, I've had only one dud (Doom Slayer). I've bought figures from properties I know absolutely nothing about and they're some of my favourite figures now (Nitehare in particular) and then there are releases I've been hot for for 25 years (Ultramarines!!!). I know there are some choices I'd do differently (Slade's pistol) but compared to the general quality and design of the figures, those become minor nitpicks. I'm not completely agog though. But I find myself excited for almost everything the doing and signing their praises all over UA-cam. Much like the 90s, I'm watching Mcfarlane Toys raising the game again.
I think this Slade tops the DC Collectibles for aesthetics and articulation but you definitely need at least one or two other Deathstrokes to steal their accessories.

I bought that same Deathstroke figure at Walmart last Monday and he was the last one.

I prefer the McFarlane version. While the DC Collectibles version has more accessories & paint detail, it’s brittle & prone to breakage due to the piss-poor plastic they used. The McFarlane Deathstroke has a more solid & feel, if you ask me. Not to mention superior articulation.
Definitely feels more sturdy, feels like I could throw him on the wall and he would not break… Although I don’t want to test that

There is an actual ball joint in there bro.
I know, I was fooled too but there's a second ball in there. That's the reason the ab area has a soft rubber material towards it.
I found this out from an other reviewer and I even took it apart to see and it's in there👍
Try it again and you'll see.
The lack of accessories still suck however but the figure is good overall
Sure there is articulation under there, but the way the torso is designed makes it useless

For me I still really like the DC Collectibles Version in my collection I’m gonna use the McFarlane one as his appearance from Arkham Knight.
Side note how did you get fireflys wings to stay on?
They stay on if you press them and firmly but they fall out pretty easily

@@dHuntersReviews yeah I had mines in for so long then I moved house and now they’ll not stay in. Tried blu tack but they didn’t hold them and don’t want to use glue on them
They could’ve designed him a little better from that point of view

Hi, you could fluff out his weapons with some of the tmnt melee foot soldier weapons. How does this scale with the foot soldiers?

@@dHuntersReviews ah great. I had some ideas for ninjas using the mcfarlane scorpion and sub zero. Do you know of any other ninja type figures? Love your reviews man, how your come up with stories, all the predator clans answering the call, seem to have real passion for the figures
Check DC direct arrow dark archer, I bought a ton of them for league of shadows they are 7 inches tall

As he should be, he fits in with the rest of the line pretty well.
Dc collectibles has better articulation and actually has paint. Even if McFarlane included accessories we all know they would be plain and no paint
I don’t know, half of them are plain, half of them have much detail, it’s hit or miss.

Your DC Collectibles Deathstroke is in 1 piece?..... mine broke in several places..... in fact, that line was such garbage that several figures I bought ended up breaking as well.....
I had breakage on croc, cooperhead, dead shot, and firefly, but all three Deathstrokes are fine.
WOW!!!!!! You got the Voodoo! I was excited for the line as this was the point when DC Collectibles “updated” articulation..... EVERYTHING I bought broke!
The Macfarlane is the best.... but I do not like the sword

Let’s hope McFarlane redeems himself on the next DEATHSTROKE figure. I don’t know what genius decided to mold in the pistol to his leg. I swear these companies do some really dumb shit, you’d swear it’s done on purpose 😒🤨😒🤨
The pistol thing sucks, but I don’t think he needs to redeem himself as this figure is absolutely excellent besides that.
@@dHuntersReviews yeah, but I watched Unparalleled Universe review this figure and he said the leg articulation was basically garbage because you can’t hardly move his legs unless you move his torso first. I don’t know. I’m gonna watch multiple reviews before I make a decision to buy this guy.
I’m not sure what’s wrong with the leg articulation besides no thigh swivel
You didn’t show him kicking forward... I think that’s where the complaint comes from.
