You talked me into getting the Ego backpack. I'm restarting fishing after giving it up several years ago because of constant frustration of losing snagged lures and not catching a blasted thing. The multitude of videos has helped me better understand things. I figure buying something larger than I need now will be worthwhile as experience increases. (All I need now is a decent portable chair since at my age I can't stand up for too long. Crummy knees.)
My favorite youtuber, appreciate it. Would like to see a video your take on $100,$200,$300 rod and reel combos ! And maybe a series of your favorite lures?
I just bought this bag off eBay for quite a bit less then from bass pro. It can hold a lot. I like this bag a lot. Great to see a video on it. I bought for only 50 like I said off eBay but I like it because it holds 1 3700 and 4 3600’s and a slim 3600 so it holds a ton. The only thing I wish it had was something on the bottom to protect it but I’m happy with it.
@@MrBassTV yes I think I did haha. It’s a very comfortable backpack to carry. The only thing I would like is to figure out how to put some cleats on the bottom or I need to waterproof the bottom somehow.
Bought that one at the BPS Black Friday sale for $59. For that price it was worth it. Haven't even used it yet. Going to get it setup as the boat bag when I'm out in a boat. Piscifun makes an awesome backpack that I also own (won it in a drawing). It's much higher quality and for a small boat trip or bank angling, it's better. It doesn't hold as many Plano boxes but it will hold more soft plastics based on the pouches on sides and front. It's definitely a thicker material and better zippers. I'd definitely buy another Piscifun backpack compared to the BPS if they're roughly the same price. But for $59 the BPS should serve me well for throwing in the boat a dozen or so times a year.
I have this bag and I think the material is pretty durable. You shouldn’t have much to worry about it. Also if you have anything wrong with it take it to a bass pro and they will exchange it out as it’s their house brand and they are really good about exchanges.
Hi Mr Bass! Looks like Bass Pro just came out with another tackle backpack. The Extreme Series 3600. It looks promising but there are no reviews out there yet. Would love to see what you think about it! I’m between it and the EGO kryptotek backpack. Happy fishing!
I bought my first backpack about 5 years ago and it is a wild River backpack and are really nice. I bought my son an okuma which is also nice but the wild River I like better. It more expensive then most but good quality.
That’s the one I have. I just looked online and they are now more expensive then when I bought mine. I still would like to get another. The one I have now I use for crappie and panfish and need one for bass. I will watch all your bag videos before I buy one.
What's the best pro shop check on the bag it's about 96 even $97 with tax And they also ask you if you want a put a Extended warranty on it That's also another $19
i have a question because i can’t find the answer anywhere else. but how should you wash this backpack if you dropped it in salt water ??? like what’s the proper way? i accidentally dropped it in the water and idk how to wash it😰😰
I have already made a video of the Flambeau Heritage that will post on UA-cam on Feb 18. It's a pretty great bag. I may take a look at the portage. Definitely an advanced bag for sure.
I liked your review. Adding pro's and con's has been helpful. Opening and showing every pocket and mentioning possible contents was also good.

Nobody is doing what your doing, amazing job! Your living my dream and many other's.
Thanks Christoper! I appreciate it.
Just started the video. This is one on my list.
Again I appreciate you sir
Hope it was helpful. I will be posting a bag video every two days.
This bag is on sale at Cabela's now for $72, normally 89 I think.
I just got this bag, and for a guy who isn't in competitions, I think it's a really good tackle bag
Yes I have both backpacks the Cabela's backpack and a Bass pro shop backpack in both of them does exceptionally great job
These backpack reviews are perfectly timed for me because I’ve been window shopping for one and I’m hesitant to buy one because of the cost.
Glad I could help! I will be posting a new video every two days. The next video will be Feb 4. The Wild River Nomad XP.

That’s great. Sounds like you got a heck of a deal on it.

Nice review. Really like that you mention the quality of the bag as well. I am always hesitant to buy something Bass Pro branded
Glad it was helpful!

I am definitely going to pick one up!
Hope you enjoy it!

I had this bag. Everything except the zippers are great. I broke 3 zippers before I gave up on the bag.
Good to know. Thanks for the info

Not sure what the official answer is, but if it happened to me I would just hose it down with fresh water.
You should do the flambeau portage backpack

I 3m Scotchgard my bag. It's be worth a review. Spiderwire. I just wish it and more bags had a hard bottom.
Scotchguard sounds like a good idea.
Just a heads up this backpack is now on sale for 71.99 at bass pro!!
That's great to know! Thanks Anthony.
