glyphed vamp is very bad as it gets rid of your last stand, which is effective dr in instances where it saves you from dying to a hit. highly recommend not running it.
Worgen for ally isnt a bad idea imo as it opens up for masterystacking with jc/BS while you still have access to a movespeed ability in the racial. Makes dropping engi hurt less. Only reason i had engi was for rocketboots anyways
There are many errors in this guide. 1. For stats, defensively you want Stamina > Mastery = haste (above 7.5 sec rune regen) > haste (below 7.5 sec rune regen). Parry and dodge have little to no value. Overall you should go Hit (up to 8%) > Stamina > haste > expertise (up to 6.5%) > mastery > strength > dodge >= parry > crit > expertise 2. For professions, LW is the best second profession after Engineering because the bracers enchant is 195 stam, so the profession bonus is actually 155 stam compared to 120 or 123 stam for other professions. Alchemy is also very good for the trinket in phase 1. 3. For talents, you can drop Abomination’s Might because the strength bonus is inconsequential and the buff is usually brought by Paladins anyway. Personally I run 31/2/8 (with 1/3 will of the necropolis) and an actual DPS spec as the second spec, but to each their own. 4. For food, you can run 90 haste or 90 mastery. It depends on your haste level. Is it current UNCLEAR which stat is better for survivability. You should generally pick haste because mastery provides no DPS increase. Do not eat the feast, it gives dodge (generally useless). 5. For rotation, you want to keep a blood rune UNSPENT to funnel your RE procs to frost or unholy runes, maximising your number of DS. You do not have to spend runes on DS right away, as long as 1 rune of each type is recharging there is NO LOSS. You can wait for damage to press your DS, maximising the amount healed and the blood shield and minimising the amount of time you’re spending at lower health after a strike. Once your rune recharge time is 7.5 sec or lower, you can do the DS RS - HS - (DS) RS rotation. Use Blood Tap on cooldown for more DS. It’s more damage to use HS over BB with 1 to 7 targets. Tab between HS if you’re concerned about spreading threat equally.
I’m pretty new to WoW - I played DF shortly after launch for a little bit. Got a Warrior to 70 and quit playing once I realized how much more I needed to do to be able to do anything fun really. I got really turned off by the oversaturation in retail tbh. So I gave classic a try a few months later and enjoyed it a lot more. I started with Warrior and got it to level 50 then took a break cause I no lifed it and kinda burnt myself out but I’m back. I just started a DK a couple night ago and just hit level 61 and really enjoying it so far. Love your guide even though it’s catered towards max and high level content. Would you mind if I added you in game? I feel like your knowledge and experience are an immeasurable resource and would really help me tons along the way. I won’t get offended if not but you never know if you never ask. Great video btw!
you can ask me questions on my twitch linked in the description of the video. i won’t be too much of a help in game as i have a very busy raiding schedule.
Awesome job on this. I'm conflicted on focusing anything regarding hit/exp since I feel like MIT is huge for the prog push and after a few seconds of the fight I wont even care about threat. What are your thoughts on that?
yo, sry been busy with prog. i would always advise people to play on the safe side regarding progressions raiding. you should be stacking high stam and mastery for this case since there are no enrage timers for most fights this tier. once your raid team is killing content in a timely manner, you can go for hit/soft expertise cap. hope this helps!
@@brutherlol Awesome thanks! Decided to take that route and had a great time tanking! Cleared top 4 on our server (whitemane) (with world first Omnitron Defense System LOL) but was definitely a better, safer route for prog. Thanks again for the great vid.
i think you would only use those for progressing on really hard tank fights, i can’t think of any off the top of my head. i would just use synapse springs. also you’re a dk
i chose the dps tier legs for my prog since i wanted the hit along with the relic. if you don't care about your dmg, you can chose to buy the tank tier gloves first. hope that helps!
yo this was made like over 3 months ago for the general public, not for r1 tank players (or ppl that think they know better). i do 13/13 on multiple characters, just look at tank rankings for all specs.
Only losers play rogue they can’t pvp so they sweat stun lock until they get lucky and the cds are up until they dare come out of mummies shadow I mean stealth

Awesome guide, very concise delivery of information. Hopefully plenty more to come. Thank you for your time!
when the launch rush dies down, i plan to make more
What a great guide, man, you went over everything that needs knowing by any BDK.
ty!
Death strike always heals and gives blood shield even if you are parried/dodged. And glyphed vamp embrace makes for huge DS heals.
glyphed vamp is very bad as it gets rid of your last stand, which is effective dr in instances where it saves you from dying to a hit. highly recommend not running it.
thanks for the guide !

this almost made me want to play bdk, but i will continue to play rogue instead!
somebody has to o7
Well done guide bro
ty man!
Any thoughts on the on-use armor tinker for gloves and how it compares to the synapse springs?
i think you would only use those for progressing on really hard tank fights, i can’t think of any off the top of my head. i would just use synapse springs. also you’re a dk
excellent guide, bruther
You say always go stamna but suggest 35mast + MS instead of 30 stam + MS
Link to the docs guide? 😊
i won’t link it at this time since i made it on my personal google account
Only thing I would say is get spell hit capped so not to miss outbreaks. Priority there. Other than that awesome guide.
good recommendation, think i'll go for more hit later in the tier
"Generally you don't really want to be playing with heal parsers, I'd recommend staying away from them..." xD
Any recommendations for 1st purchase with Valor points?
i chose the dps tier legs for my prog since i wanted the hit along with the relic. if you don't care about your dmg, you can chose to buy the tank tier gloves first. hope that helps!
THE TANK GOAT
TY bruther
QUIT BEING A BUM AND DO YOUR REPS MAN! Great guide homie!
paladins have more cd and lay on hand every 20 sec : D
well yes, but paladins are gae so...
paladins are very weak in pre bis and dk cds are much stronger in comparision. hopefully they get better with more avoidance.
First
i can tell u only do normals lol... blood dks going full dps gear at this point
yo this was made like over 3 months ago for the general public, not for r1 tank players (or ppl that think they know better).

What a helmet, imagine saying brother does normals
