High level jobs will have stress. Take ona job that don’t give high stress levels. Not everyone can handle stress. Corporate companies are not allowed to make employees work outside of work hours. If that has happened it needs investigation. Why is the manager at Ernest and Young so unprofessional that he sit and watches cricket during work hours and makes employees work after hours. It needs thorough investigation. Such unprofessional managers should be kicked out.
A stern No could have fixed it. Saying yes to everything is a habit if Malayees. We are afraid to say No to anyone. Make your health your priority not job.
If u r single , financially sound , no family , good economy n market around , then it's easy to quit job in the name of health . Otherwise our health will be again deteriorated by financial problems, family prob probs etc ... We r in vicious cycle of victims of poor third class country

My sister quit her job at the company named InBody in Bombay for the same reason. She held onto it as long as she could worried about her career. Her manager was a bully and the workload was beyond what anyone could take.
We stood with her and asked her to quit before it was too late. She had sleep issues, nutrition loss due to not eating on time, hair loss, anxiety and several other symptoms when she came back home. It took a month to nurse her back to health. I am glad we forced her to quit. Deeply saddened by this news. High time for the government to intervene and the companies to do an introspection.

It is difficult to get job If job loses...in India. For just 1 job opening there are more than 1000 applicants in India. Employees are just slaves now. Many employees are in unhealthy work conditions over time practices to save their jobs. Employers will not give overtime payment.
Population and Unemployment rate are increasing in India. Labor laws and rules are not effective and it is just on paper and not in right practice. Companies are on optimum utilisation of manpower with no rules and no laws for working hours because of huge educated unemployed persons. It is difficult to balance work and life for employed persons. Because Government also a super failure to generate jobs last 10 years and government is totally depend upon corporates.

I was going through the same situation and resigned from job and it was so difficult to take the descision at first but after few months i decided i have to leave from here before it badly affects my mental and physical health ...so i resinged
One of my friends who worked at EY also died of heart attack. Now I doubt whether workload was the reason behind his death too.
ജോലി കിട്ടിയില്ലെങ്കിൽ മനസമാധാനം ഇല്ല, കിട്ടുമ്പോഴും ഇല്ല. ഓരോ അവസ്ഥകൾ. എന്റെ ഒരു കസിൻ ജോലിക്ക് വേണ്ടി ഓട്ടപാച്ചിൽ ആയിരുന്നു. ഇപ്പോൾ ജോലി ആയി, ഇപ്പോഴും ആൾ ഹാപ്പി അല്ല. ജീവിതം പഴയതു മതിയായിരുന്നു, ജോലി വേണ്ടായിരുന്നു എന്ന്, അതും govt. ജോലി. അത് അഹങ്കാരം കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കും എന്ന് ജോലി കിട്ടാത്തവർ അവളെ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു 😅. വേറൊരാൾ കോൺസുമർ കോർട്ടിൽ steno ആണ്. എനിക്ക് ഒട്ടും സമയം ഇല്ലേ, എപ്പോഴും ഓട്ടം തന്നെ. വീട്ടിൽ വന്ന ഉടനെ കിടന്നുറങ്ങും അത്രേ, പിള്ളേരുടെ കാര്യം പോലും നോക്കാൻ കഴിയില്ലെന്നാണ് പറയുന്നത്. കുറച്ചു പേർക്കി ജോലി ഉണ്ടെങ്കിലും പരാതി ഒഴിഞ്ഞു നേരമില്ല, ചിലർക്ക് ഒക്കെ ആണ്. എന്താ ഈ ജീവിതം. 🙄

മിക്ക സ്വകാര്യ കമ്പനികളിലും ഇതു തന്നെയാണ് അവസ്ഥ. സർക്കാർ ശക്തമായ നടപടി ശ്രീകരിച്ചില്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇനിയും മരണങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകും.
ഇതൊക്കെത്തന്നെയാണ് സിനിമ മേഖലയിലും കേട്ടത്, ഇവിടെ കൂടെ കിടക്കാൻ പറഞ്ഞില്ലെന്നുമാത്രം, അവനവന്റെ പരിധി മനസ്സിലാക്കി സമയത്ത് നോ പറയണം. പണം കുറഞ്ഞാലും അവനവന്റെ ആരോഗ്യത്തിനു കുഴപ്പമില്ലാത്ത ജോലിയിലേക്ക് മാറണം. വലിയ ബ്രാൻഡ് വേണം, വലിയ ശംമ്പളം വേണം അതിന്റെ കൂടെ വരുന്ന ദുരിങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയുക 😒

If the job affects your health, you have every right to leave the job. Nobody is slave in India. We have our freedom. Send a mail to the director mentioning that your health is not ok and leave the company. If necessary, attach medical documents. That's the end. There will not be any legal issue. That's my point.

In my first company, the salary was around 16.5k and the work would be around 10-12 hours min. If someone left the office at 6 there'd googling eyes from peers and seniors who stay late. Some would even ask questions like "Leaving early??(sarcastically)". Fun days.

Mr. ബാലഗോകുലം... പെട്ടെന്ന് ഇട്ടിട്ട് പോരാൻ ഇത് മെക്കാട് പണിയല്ല.... കോർപ്പറേറ്റ് കമ്പനികൾ ആകുമ്പോൾ ബോണ്ട് ഉണ്ടാകും, മൂന്നു മാസം / one month atleast notice period ഉണ്ടാകും. ഇപ്പോൾ ചെയ്തുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ജോലി ഉത്തരവാദിത്വത്തോടെ കമ്പനിയിലെ മറ്റൊരാളെ ഏൽപ്പിക്കേണ്ടിവരും. മാത്രമല്ല ഇത്രയും വലിയ ജോലിക്ക് പോകുന്ന വ്യക്തി പെട്ടെന്ന് അത് കളയുമ്പോൾ നാട്ടുകാരും, ബന്ധുക്കളും, സുഹൃത്തുക്കളും എന്ത് കരുതും എന്നുള്ള ചിന്താഗതി (സ്വന്തം ജീവനേക്കാൾ വലുതല്ല ഈ സ്റ്റാറ്റസ് ഒന്നും എങ്കിലും).
