Jaw dropping guitar player and all around performer. This album is one of the most significant albums for me from the 80s. The real guitar shred classic, but with catchy songs with amazing Goran Edman and John on vocals. Unfortunately it did not get attention any time it deserves.
Excellent guitar player (and vocalist) in my opinion, sad that the world didn't discovered and recognized this man as one of the few best. He still has time to reach the top together with Joey Tempest and the band. Good luck John.
Opening track from one of my absolute favourite albums. Norum's been in my top Three as a guitarist since 1985, and I love his singing. I must mention that Marcel Jacob, one of the best bass players the world has seen is on this video, and co-wrote much of the album. He went on to form the brilliant Talisman. Sadly, he is no longer with us.

John played leads with emotional investment and passion. Occasional stunts (like in this one) but not just showing off for showing off's sake in most of his stuff. As Lindsey Buckingham says - some guitarists play to make a song, others play to show they can play, but only the former makes good records.
