Personally, I would sell on Posh because that’s where I would get my audience buteither way I’m so excited for you
Hey Nikki, I love TRR, but I sent In a Chanel jacket that I bought at Saver's for $29, and they gave me a pre-approval quote of $1,454 to $2,200 (depending on condition once received), and I would notify me before it goes live...and it was like-new, so I expected max. Well, don't you know those fuckers listed it without notifying me, at $745, so it obviously sold instantly. I was LIVID. I huffed and puffed, till they paid me out as if it would have sold at $1,495. DON'T Believe that pre-approval "protection" from TRR. I'm still bitter lol
I won’t EVER send anything to TRR. It’s such a scam for sellers
Oh my goodness my Poshmark live sales have the most wonderful consistent following and I have two or three customers who come in with me just about every night I go live and spend between 200 and $600. I love these customers so much and I’m always giving them gifts and free things and bonuses to encourage the spending. It is wonderful.
A similar thing happened to me at RR. I took my vintage diamond necklace in for appraisal. They gave me a guaranteed price that was good for 1 year and guaranteed no discounts for 12 months and not until I approved it. Well, 2 months later the item sold at 30% off. I was so upset!! It took 6 months and numerous emails to get a small portion of the lost money.
@@debrapayne2388 I have a love hate with TRR. now I only send in ugly luxury items like Lafayette, St John that I pick up for pennies at the bins. Exclusively to build my shopping credit. Bought a $2,800 Chanel bag that way which was probably $200 out of my pocket from bins grabs.

Hi Nikki, first time seeing your video. About two months ago I listed on Poshmark, a handful of my daughter’s Lululemon wear that she has outgrown. It all sold within days. I was amazed! I decided to list a few other items on eBay and have sold several things there as well. Now I have been bitten by the resale bug! Sounds corny, but it is so much fun. I had just listed a few things I owned, but decided to dabble and pick up 4 things from Goodwill and give it a go. I have sold 2 of the 4 items. Anyway , you are precious. Liked and subscribed!

I grab all of the paper bags at the bins and squish them all in my cart. My bins don't charge me for them. I use that as packing paper for my shoes.

Hey Niki do you use list perfectly? Or Vendoo? Do you have a video on how you list. I am currently trying to grow and I am tired of listing on my phone.
Have you considered selling to actual consignment stores that are locally owned rather than buy, sell, trade stores? I’ve found that to be a good option and often bring items I’ve just sources before listing them.
Also, if you still use Thredup, could you do an updated tips video on selling there? I found your videos to be super helpful on that 3-4 years ago, but it’s such a different, seller unfriendly environment now and I’m not sure where to start.
