I can't understand why there are not more subscribers to this channel. Dennis & his crew always provide some of the most entertaining, engaging & educational content on here. I find myself as interested in the people he meets & talks with & the places where they go to eat as well as the vehicles. Dennis is such font of knowledge, yet he is not arrogant & appears to be kind & considerate to everyone. Dennis is the kind of a person who you wished was your friend. 😎
Awesome GTO and an awesome find! At 5:45 Zach ran the camera across the HVAC controls and I saw A/C. Dennis had just a minute prior mentioned how low the production was on a 400 4-speed car in ‘71, so having A/C on top of that made my heart skip a beat. What a car. Some don’t care for the nose on the ‘71-‘72 GTOs, and while it’s not necessarily my favorite I still like them. We all dream of finding stuff like this and it’s great to have this channel to get to share in what Dennis and crew comes up with.
Luv Dennis he is a very smart about cars & trucks! Met him when i worked for HANK III at GMBG. I had an old Jeepster Commander & he told me way more than I ever knew about it!!! Dig the show... 🔥
The more I watch Coffee Walk, the more impressed I am with Dennis' knowledge beyond just Jeeps. These barn finds are really interesting and as much as I'd like to get one, I've had it with old cars and trying to keep them running if they are driven. I finally sold my matching number 1970 454 Corvette convertible with documentation from dealer ordering from GM, to factory pickup and convoy to Omaha as 1 of 13 Shriner parade cars. Sold in January and bought a new 911 Carrera (991.2) which has been on my bucket list for decades.
My Dad used to say the same thing. You can drink my beer but do not drink the last one. He also used to say it will feel better when it stops hurting. God bless.
Dennis, you are one hell of a model American. The only reason I enjoyed watching F&L was when you were in it. And I could tell at times that you didn't enjoy being around Richard. The things I've seen you do for people in your videos is just amazing. You are a true car guy. I learn so much from listening to you. Thank you from every one of your fans. I lived in Grapevine texas for 8 years, hope to make it back down soon. I'd love to shake your hand and thank you.
Great show as usual Dennis . Your enthusiasm never diminishes and you're never afraid to pass on your knowledge. So why change a winning combination ? You're the tops Dennis. Have a peaceful Christmas and lets hope 2021 is kinder to us all . All the best to you and your team . Take care and stay safe.
😮 How in the world could you have such a beautiful Pontiac GTO drive it from California put it in the garage, park it , and never drive it??! It just baffles my mind.
wow !! incredible!! pontiac gto ...da far rivivere ...bello grandissimo..!!! motore e macchina da supercar.!!! io preferisco però la jeep cj7 totalblack oppure lo scrambler cj8 ...con motore americano..!!! yes.!!!
Dennis, I had a ‘71 GTO 455HO 4 Speed back in ‘75. It was black with a white interior. It suffered from two major problems and being a 24 yr old guy, I didn’t have the money to keep fixing it. #1. Driver side exhaust manifold gasket leak. I changed it multiple times but always came back. #2. Rear main seal leak which ruined the clutch and it always chattered as a result. Loved the car but ended up selling it.
There’s a 70 GTO Judge in my town that’s been sitting under tarps since at least 1988, hasn’t moved since. I asked if it was for sale back then and was told no. I went by a couple months ago and knocked but no answer, the house is a bit run down but I know someone lives there because the truck is gone in the day. Such a waste of a cool car to rot under cover. Greetings from British Columbia
Merry Christmas! Another great episode. Regardless how bad my week has been, these videos always leave me smiling! The content is always upbeat and positive. I love that GTO! Very cool!
Hey Dennis, love the channel.... love your passion and encyclopaedic knowledge of all things jeep, mustang, Porsche, Healey......and so on. Wishing you, your family and the gang a very happy Christmas.... ho ho ho 🙏👏🎅
what a life Dennis has. "BEAUTIFUL TO WATCH". I offered this quote to Richard Rawlings but I never got a reply. this quote I used for 40 years and I hope Dennis can use it because it would work so often in his videos. PS: never had it trademark was just too expensive. use it well Dennis and Happy New Year
I remember those GOATS! I had a 65, 67, 68, 2-69s and a LEMANS Rag Top. Loved them Pontiacs but them Magnum Mopars of the 60s and 70s ruined me! Nice find! A guy has 3 bucks left from Christmas so, back to dreaming!🤣🤣 Thanks for sharing your story with us! 💥💥🛠🔩⚒🤙✝️✝️✝️❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Merry Christmas Dennis and company, Another home run. It's hard to believe these cars still exist however you never know whats behind a garage door. That Goat is incredible. Just clean her up, shes perfect.
That Air Force sticker on the front Grill from Whiteman AFB shows it was owned by an NCO (yellow sticker) at one time. They were red for an airmen and Blue for an officer. The trunk lid will stay up with the wing by just adjusting the tension bar underneath & between the hinges. Had a 71 GTO convertible 455HO (clone)15 years ago so went through all that. The air cleaner looks more restored than nos because it looks like it has some corrosion that was painted over. They are really tough to find though so not a big deal.
Happy Christmas to you all from England, thanks for all the videos this year they have been very much looked forward to and appreciated. It's also a real bonus to see nice weather! Here's to many more videos on 2021!
My mother owns a 1968 911S Targa Softwindow. My dad bought two Porsches from a guy at the Pomona Swap Meet in 1985 and it was one of them. Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!
You probably already know this about the Pontiac engines, but they were somewhat notorious for sheading the timing chain around the 50,000-60,000 mile mark. The cam timing gear was coated with nylon to make it quieter and it would shed the nylon coating causing the timing chain to jump. Great find and video!
Love these vids, this guy knows his shit when it comes to muscle cars from that era and foreign cars too. For the most part the audio/video quality is superb, kudos to his team. I could watch these all day long. Very pretty daughter too. You can see how she buys into his passion for his craft, nice...
A Dennis from Sydney Australia you and your family and the guys in the shop Merry Xmas and all the best for the new year . love show i get up early every saterday morning to follow it no fail
I own a Fremont, CA built 71 GTO and ran into the very same problem you guys did finding the VIN stamp on the block. As you know, the last six digits of the VIN are normally stamped vertically, parallel with the side of the timing chain cover, way down low on the block. I ended up finding the last six digits of my VIN, stamped on the same surface as the engine unit number and engine code surface, an inch or two below those codes, and very faint. I posted my question on one of the popular online Pontiac forums and was told that the Fremont, CA cars were usually stamped like mine.
Merry Christmas to Dennis and the entire family at the dealership! I love these videos! Wish I could afford any of these cars/jeeps. I miss my P.O.S. 1972 Gran Torino (first car), my P.O.S.'65 Mustang 289, and my '66 Mustang (not a P.O.S., but it was a 200 6-cylinder). Wish I had been able to keep them all. I actually also miss my '77 Mercury Marquis station wagon. I had to drive a ten-penny nail into the passenger floorboard to get rid of the water from the leak in the roof out and it got about 8 mpg, but it was a tank and road like a Cadillac. Speaking of which, I especially miss my '97 Cadillac Eldorado. Hunter green, great car. Smooth driver. Got rear-ended and totaled the day before my wedding after I picked up my tux. These days I'm driving an '09 Merc Mariner Hybrid. Boring.
Great Vlog but I thought I was watching a "Max Headroom" video for a moment with that choppy jumping editing! lol! Happy Holidays and hope everyone there has a safe, healthy, Covid free end of the year and all through '21 so we keep getting great stuff to watch!
In 1992 when I was 14 i bought a 71 gto that was really rare due to the fact it had swivel buckets which I never ever had seen or heard of that option. Anyways I bought the 400 4speed car off a 91 yr old lady for 300 dollars and did work around her house for a summer for the car. It was her son that passed aways car abd he was the original owner but my father caught me driving it and I run out of school and to his shop the next day and my gto was a pile of scrap. My dad cut it up with a torch because I drove it. Mine was gold with black vinyl top and black vinyl swivel buvkets and 3.73s and a m21 4speed. Mine didn't have a wing but it did have a hood tach I still have the tach and the ram air IV air cleaner
Sounds right about the buckets... in the Laguna GTOs never have swivel buckets ever PS.. what a story about your GTO and your dad I don't know what I would do he cut it up with a torch Holy s*** what a score back then three hundred bucks yeah I remember back in the eighties buying a Triple black 1970 GTO Judge for 500 bucks I wish those days came back

I am a pontiac man from way back. I have 13 trans ams. Have had motor work done by Nunzi Romano out of new york. Even owned a GME (GM EXPERIMENTAL) 428 tunnel port. Do you need a pontiac expert for working on your drivetrains. Live in mesquite texas. Also have lots of vintage parts. Enjoy the pontiac talk keep it up.
Love the Pontiac GTO. My favorite body style. I don't care for the color, but it must be rare because I have never seen that on a LeMans or Tempest. You knocked it out of the park again Dennis.
These videos are better than a lot of TV shows!!
Who still watching TV !

That GTO will command a hefty price tag. What an incredible find!
Short and sweet but I'll still take it! I feel like I'm smarter after every episode with all the amazing knowledge Dennis has!
Just found this channel - loving it and don't even live in the US!
Hot rod bob

Beautiful GTO, great find. Would like more history on the Porsche engine too when that comes in.
My Dad used to say the same thing. You can drink my beer but do not drink the last one. He also used to say it will feel better when it stops hurting. God bless.

Suddenly I can smell the 70 GTO I had 44 years ago. 400, auto, air, in fairly nice condition. $550. Kid you not. Those were the days.
Wow Dennis, you’re slipping. It took you an entire 4:13 for “The Holy Grail” tag line! 🤣
...but he made up for it by repeating it again at 4:44, and again at 9:03. 😂
Merry Christmas to all from a very chilly Halifax UK. Thank you for posting classy content every Friday even on a holiday.
That Blazer reminds me of my childhood. My cousin had one just like that

Thumb's down on the Chilton's Abuse, I grew up with them, Certified through Mobile Oil in the 70's.
I had a 1970 GTO 400 4 barrel blue with blue interior. I remember the sound. I paid 1750 for it in 73. Low mileage.
SO BADASS....
COFFEE, MUSCLE CARS, NICE WEATHER

A real nice find on the GTO. Glad you are keeping it stock ,sell the NOS 455 parts for bug bucks, buy lots of beer.
Loved watching you toss the Chilton's manual, They are a waste of money
Installation is the reverse of removal. LOL not always Chilton's, not always.

Dennis, I laughed so hard when you tossed the Chilton manual, I just purchased a Haynes manual for a project I get better info from You tube .
Alex is a Badass!!👍💪

That goat is my dream Dennis! I'd gladly trade you a 1962 Impala Hardtop and a 1935 Pontiac Silver Streak Series 605 straight 8 sedan. 😄

I love the way you through the chiltons manual. Lol
Very Cool!
Merry Christmas Dennis, love the GTO and the Blazer. Happy New Year!
Love the Pontiac GTO. My favorite body style. I don't care for the color, but it must be rare because I have never seen that on a LeMans or Tempest. You knocked it out of the park again Dennis.
Wow that GTO is so impressive! Doesn’t even look like it needs paint work!!
How much do you think Dennis paid for it?
Merry Christmas to all 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Stay safe 😁😁👍
It wasn't mention but I am assuming an oil change was also done before trying to start the GTO.
Just to share my experience. I installed a factory wing on the trunk of my 72 Cutlass S and hinges held fine
Love the color on the GTO. But the rarer the car the louder is the Cha Ching!
Happy Xmas Dennis and family keep the show going
Love it Shane in the uk
You sure know how to apologize Dennis. Great GTO!!!! nice work on the start up...
im a big Pontiac fan , love it
