I always love seeing people grow and follow their passions and watching Steve actually landed me on one of your videos through recommendations early last year. I was born in Homer, I live in Soldotna, I make the drive to Anchorage every 3 weeks to go to work in Prudhoe bay. I take my boat out of Whittier every chance I get to go fish for halibut. I’ve been waiting to see you experience this for a long time. Just a few things, those are Musk ox, not bison. That volcano you were looking at from your RV spot was Mount Redoubt, to me the absolute pinnacle of beauty and my biggest reminder of home. I see it from my front porch every day and I have it tattooed on my arm. And lastly, it’s the Homer “Spit”, not Split. I hope you enjoyed your time in Alaska man! We’d love to have you back anytime
Cherish the time you have with your parents because in the blink of an eye every thing can come crashing down. My mother was diagnosed with cancer and she passed away just two weeks afterwards and my pops was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and Dementia and things that we used to Cherish are all gone. Love the channel!!

He can remember a grade a got in school 40 years ago but nothing from a conversation we had 1 hour prior. That Alzheimer's and Dementia a cruel disease. You have a blessed day

Man I never had a good relationship with my dad and my mom passed when I was 17 aside from the beautiful scenery seeing the solid relationship with your parents makes me so happy/jealous I can't even imagine how fulfilling that would be love you man never take your parents for granted

My brother and his wife love salmon fishing in AK, and that river's blue water is so beautiful. Alaska is breathtakingly gorgeous! A visit to Alaska is on the horizon. What a wonderful and memorable Alaskan trip with your folks. Mav, you and your parents are AMAZING! 💕💕
