Another off subject subject btw thanks for your advice on the no-internet running of TW that solution didn't work, but one quick fix I tried and found to work was creating a TM shortcut without having to run the UR game launcher. So far its working. My off subject question may assist other disabled or handicapped persons out there. Its selecting a mouse that has additional buttons that utilize the 'W', 'A', 'S', 'D', keys of the keyboard. I only have use of my right hand and its not easy navigating around in TW, Sketch-up is a snap especially with the zooming to cursor placement feature and focus always defaulting to the cursor when moving. What mouse if any would be a good selection. keep the videos coming, I'm learning so much through your tuts. Thanks for the time in making them.

Thanks for this video! Been trying to figure out a system for our designers to use a tag in elevation but also adding notes. I do have a question though. With the elevations I work with we sometimes need specialized notes to describe in further detail. The unfortunate aspect of this tag you created is that the text is a Type Parameter. Is there anyway to make the text portion be a Instance Parameter? I have the parameter in the project set to Instance but it still makes it a type.

Thanks for this, we use a material code to identify materials in our project. Would you use the in-built 'Mark' parameter or make a Custom Parameter to contain the material code?

It really is up to you. Mark is preferred as the universal and most useful method of identifying an element. If you can use Mark, that may be the best but a custom parameter would perform the same.

You are right, just know that this changes every instance of that tag pointing to that particular material. It is changing the material but all the tags just display the change.
