sadly lindor wont mvp because the award has never been about what player is the most valuable to their team it always has been about which player has the better stats and mlb wont let their golden child ohtani not win
So by your reasoning, Clayton Kershaw should never have won the MVP in 2014; Justin Verlander should never have won MVP in 2011; and Roger Clemens should never have won MVP in 1986 - because pitchers have the Cy Young award, right?
@@woobacckkYou do know how the MLB MVP is selected, right? Fyi, the MVP award is voted on by members of the Baseball Writers Association of America (BBWAA), which is made up of 700 professional journalists & sports writers that write for all the major newspapers, magazines and sports websites spread across the US. The MLB Commissioner’s office has no say in deciding the MVP. So does your conspiracy theory also include all the professional sports writers in America? Are they all conspiring somehow to deny Lindor the MVP and to give it to Ohtani at all costs? 😂
@@Adam-mj5hl you said a whole lot of nothing. you take ohtani off the dodgers they still make the playoffs easily you take lindor off the mets and they dont make the playoffs its as simple as that the dodgers can afford to not have ohtani with how much of a juggernaut they are the mets are a different story they arent even suppose to be in the playoffs but because of lindor mvp year look at where they are
MVP not withstanding, DW makes a great point. Lindor is a formidable presence on the field and you can't see that from watching the game on TV. His head is always 100-% in the game. When he is on base, he is stomping and making noise to make the opposing pitcher think about him and not know if he is running. When he is at shortstop, he communicates with the other infielders and keeps helps keep everyone focused.
There is zero reason Ohtani should win MVP. Yes he has better stats then Lindor. But they aren't head and shoulders above him. And unlike Lindor he doesn't play the field at all. But for sone reason the MLB has a hard on for this clown and will just give it to him. Frankly, he shouldn't be playing baseball. They ban Pete Rose for life for betting. Ohtani does it and nothing. And you're an idiot if you belueve the my friend stole 2 million story. He made the bets l, his friend placed them. Nobody loses millions and doesn't notice.
The man has more money than he knows what to do with. You might notice because if you are missing $2000 from your account you won’t be able to pay your expenses. Ohtani’s lights weren’t going off he has multiple accountants it’s a different relationship with money than your average Joe Schmo. Anyway Ohtani is going to win the MVP and it’s much deserved. He’s not just the most valuable player for the Dodgers but for all of baseball.
D. Wright!!!! What a player!!!! All Mets fans WISH you played a little more!!!!
Ohtani should win the Hank Aaron Award for best hitter, Lindor should win MVP as he has been the most valuable player for his team.
Lindor MVP for sure he had more clutch homers

If David Wright sees this, thanks for doing Jays show. Jay is a legend and he is criminally slept on in journalism...
Having your kids ask you, “ did you used to do that Dad?” How cool is that! Thank you Jay and David ❤
WILL ALWAYS BE MY FAVORITE PLAYER. WE LOVE YOU DAVID!
THE CAPTAIN!! My favorite Met of all time my favorite player of all time love you David let’s go Mets!!!!!
Jay Horwitz is the heart and soul of our club.
Hoping Wright can at least get a ring as a coach

Now that was awesome... Would love to see more of this content
Dave always takes care of the Mets fans by the bullpen. Gave me one ball for each of my kids one game we saw several years back in St. Louis
Captain! 👨🏼✈️
D WRITE #1 we still ❤ you
The series graphic on the dual is killin me!!! lmao
David wright!!!!
Dodgers would be where they are today without Ohtani. Mets would be golfing if not for Francisco. Lindor is MVP. Winker is close second 😆.
David Wright, it was a joy following watching his career all those years.
David 🎉❤❤
David’s wife: you’re not recognizable
Mets fans: I love you more than she does
Mustache Pete Alonso was the best in this season. If Pete can bring the mustache back.
Lindor helped Mets Clutch
9:00 cespedes turned us around
Too bad he couldn't stay healthy.
Vientos should be our first baseman for the future. Acuña second, Baty (if he hits) third and Mauricio Shortstop after Lindor.
What about Alonso? You putting him in the scrap heap? Be happy that he’s our excellent first basemen. And Vientos belongs at third!

“Lindor should be mvp. No one has ever seen what Ohtani is doing on a baseball field this year but Lindor is pretty good on defense”
D. Wrigvt 4. HOF .!
Otani is. Good but. NOT a. Difference. Maker !.
Lmao. Okay David wright.
