Best episode so far this season! Will replay this again in the near future. I met Rhonda at the Overland Expo in Arizona this year. I was the typical star struck fan but managed the courage to strike up a conversation with Rhonda. It was great to talk to her. She was telling me about this race but I had no clue how intense this race is. Thanks for sharing and Congrats Rhonda and Rachel!!! It's very motivating!!!
I am so proud of Ronda and Rachelle in this episode! I was rooting for them so hard... even after knowing it already happened. I can't say anything more than thank you, XO crew. I wish I could easily express how inspirational and motivating you guys are.
Loving the adventure but I think the segment on the girls was the best. I was amazed at them in the Alaska series but their tenacity and gutsyness is inspiring. Congratulations to them on their 14th place finish. I know you guys are proud of them as well you should be.
Watching this series again for the fourth or fifth time. RIP Jessi Combs. She was a great role model for girls getting into off roading and motorsports.
Hi guys and girls. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch your series. I have been following you since the Alaska Yukon trip and have been inspired by your warm hearted, family oriented documentaries. I myself as a result have come to find adventure on the road but only in much shorter trips. I want to thank you for giving me the inspiration to get out there and find my own story on overland expeditions in my backyard Australia. Keep up the awesome work and enjoy the road. Regards Adam.
Seriously. . . Another phenomenal video. The girls rock and I love the including of their part in this episode- would love to see more of that race. . and more of your travels- BUMP THE SHOWS UP TO 45 MINUTES!!
Congratulations, girls, on a great finish! You're very inspirational not only to women but to everyone, to achieve their own goals. And gentlemen, keep on truckin'! I would miss this series for the world!
I watch each episode and think "wow thats the best one yet!" Not thinking it can get any better yet you guys continually put out great content! Each episode gets better and better and its an epic journey to follow!
Wow! Amazing job ladies! Way to show determination and perseverance despite the odds being stacked against you, inspiring others across the globe. Rachelle and Rhonda, congratulations on an amazing finish! To the guys, glad to see the footage of the team sharing what you learned at the border crossing concerning the filming and gear. Experience alone does not allow for future wise choices. However, evaluating your experiences and planning for the future does. Looking back through your other episodes, both in the continental US and the Alaska expedition, you are definitely showing that the EO team evaluates every aspect of your shared adventures. There is more wisdom there than in almost anything else you are showing us other adventurers. And Clay, I agree with you on that sunset. If it is that beautiful on film, I cannot imagine what it was like in person. Stunningly gorgeous and truly breath taking. So many times the most awe-inspiring events are the ones that happen every day. We just need to open our eyes to see them. Can't wait for next week!
I'm from quebec canada and i never mist each episode. I,m french i not understand alll but my passion for the 4x4 grow up all day.. thanks guys !! and girl you are awsome for make the rally des gazelle
Rachelle-double duty bad assing it at the end. Rhonda-no throwing in the towel and dominating. I haven't teared up since the end of Shawshank. Until now.
First of all - Ronda and Michelle rock! I really admire their power of will, and what a great finish, incredible! The world needs more of such adventurous women! And you're darn right to be proud of them :)! Second - I love this Central America journey report! I went on a slightly comparable trip with a friend last year and this year. Last year (March) we've started from Belize City in an old 2006 Chevy Silverado pickup which we've got shipped from Florida, and went south, down to Costa Rica in about three weeks (mostly tracing the pacific coast), checking out so many beautiful countries, sets and places. This year (April/May) we've picked (huh) up the Chevy in Costa Rica again and went through Central America up north in a few days, it's possible, you know that :), but spent some weeks going west, east, and west again through Mexico and then the Baja upwards back to California/US. Many of the challenges, situations, awesome moments, crazy moments, scary moments, you're showing in your documentary series are serious DejaVus to me :). It is amazing to see them covered in high quality video :). I really appreciate it. Keep on!
+ExpeditionOverland There is a thread on YotaTech and on fjcruiserforums I have been posting the videos to each week. Shane over on the blue room (fjcruiserforums) turned me onto last season over there in the thread. Have enjoyed every episode. Corey, YotaTech Administrator
With these cliffhangers at the end!! You guys inspired myself and several others to take on this kind of adventure. I love this series. Thank you for sharing your stories!
Clay, it was sooooo cool that you included the footage of the rally that Rachelle and Rhonda took part in. I know it has been many years ago, but what a fantastic experience for them!! Rhonda said something that mirrors my own approach to life. We all have the tools within us, it just takes the right circumstances and the desire to bring them forward when we need them. Trust in ourselves is so incredibly powerful and effective. Thanks for another great video. You guys and ladies all rock!!!!
I'm watching this almost three years late but I cried like a baby when the girls arrived. +Rhonda Cahill +Rachelle Croft you ladies are tough badasses. AMAZING job!
Moar! This is great stuff guys. I have watched everything you guys have put on UA-cam in about a month. Basically I'm watching every chance I can get. Between work and family life and everything else in between. Wonderful work to both the women and men of XO you are all a true inspiration. 1 episode per week though?!?! Killing me!!!!!
I've got to say, this moved me. Great adventure for the guys and the girls. I don't even know you guys, but I was totally proud of all of you. If you're ever in Oregon........come hang out on the river with us. We'd love to have you. Thanks for the inspiration. Dave and Beth in Tillamook.
I do wish I were 35 years younger and in military fighting condition, I think I would roundup some like minded folks and do something like this myself. I am enjoying these videos very much.
I know it happened a while but I'm so excited for what the ladies accomplished. Congratulations ladies you ROCK! Sorry gents, racing down volcanoes, cool...sand dunes in Morocco, cooler.
This has become by far my favorite UA-cam channel... You guys are awesome! and the girls as well. I hope to one day soon build a rig and go on adventures with our family.
Good job ladies. I've experienced electrolyte depletion and heat stroke in the Mojave. I've felt that pain. There is no fighting through that. Climbing back in the saddle after one night of iv fluids----- good show m'lady. Good show.
Another great episode fella's, big congratulations for the girls, have done a heap of travelling overland here in Australia but would love to be able to cross international boarders the way you blokes are doing, the only drawback from living on a island, looking forward to your next episodes, take care people
Just recently started watching your series, so far love it. However this episode did sadden me with the remembrance of Jessi. My condolences to Rhonda and Rachelle for their loss of a life living colleague
